A Bonita Springs must see! There are not many reasonably prices restaurants with a view in SWFL. Doc's however ticks all the boxes if your vacationing. It has a friendly staff and good food (apps, salads, soups, sandwiches, alcoholic beverages and yummy summer frozen drinks etc.) But, above all a perfect location for a beach view. You may either dine inside with waitress/waiter service or take it to go at their pick up window. The seating upstairs has the best views and beach breezes. There are outside tables with umbrellas where you may take your to go food to eat. This is an all cash establishment, but do not worry there are cash machines on site! Because of the limited parking space, parking is valet-you must present a validated stub to the attendant when leaving. Enjoy!

Doc’s is our favorite casual beach bar/restaurant in SW Florida! The vibe inside is so fun with so many nick knacks and lights on the walls, ceiling and all over (many from Chicago sports teams). Regardless where you hail from, you’ll love their pizza, grouper sandwiches and burgers, or any number of other entrees from their extensive menu. The food is delicious! Our favorite part is taking our food out to their beach tables surrounded by palm trees blowing in the Gulf breeze. At night, the palms are lit up with white lights making for a truly magical experience. On Friday night we brought our pizza out to the beach tables where a Snowy Egret began begging for food. We ignored her until she took control, swooping over my shoulder and deftly plucked my cardboard plate with two pieces of pizza off the table where she feasted on her bounty (see pictures). 😂 There was plenty of pizza for all so we enjoyed sharing with this beautiful bird. If you’re ever in Bonita Springs, FL stop by Doc’s where the tropical vibe is the best on the beach. Bring cash though. They don’t accept cards!

I had the blackened tacos and they were delicious. The pina colada left a lot to be desired. It must be a mix but it was still decent. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun.

Overall, a pleasant experience. I had the fried fish tacos, my wife had the Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich which comes with a bag of Lay’s Chips. I like the bit of spice with the tacos. She said her sandwich was good too. From what I understand they’ve only been reopened about 2 months after all the Hurricane Ian damage. For a Monday lunch, they had a good crowd. I recommend taking the climb upstairs for a better view. Keep in mind, Doc’s is a cash-only establishment. That’s surprising to me in this day and age. “Free” valet parking is available, if the lots not full. If I could I’d rate Doc’s a 4.5, but that’s not an option. Good simple menu with good beach views. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Went to Doc’s Beach House for my 37th Birthday, what a GREAT decision! Let’s start with beach front, free Valet (you should tip), friendly happy staff, tasty drinks and food! Take a stroll on the beach after you eat. We sat at the out door tables with umbrellas and watched people having on great time on jets ski’s (you can rent one if you want too!) sand between my toes, beer in my hand and a bathroom close by…we didn’t leave for hours! Can’t wait to go back!!

Happy that they are open!!! A beautiful afternoon on the beach enjoying a beer and chicken fingers from the food truck. They are making progress in rebuilding from the devasting impact of Ian. Good to see people supporting them. Should be better than ever.

Came here for lunch for the pulled pork sandwich. After I ordered I tried to pay so I could get back to work. Turns out it was a cash bar only. I didn't have the pin to my card. George was kind and bought my lunch.( Thank you George! ) Dee and lilly we're on point. What a great family here. A+.

Awesome beach bar that serves fresh fish dishes, beer, wine and speciality drinks. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, lots of tvs, and multiple bars. Service is friendly, and prices are reasonable.

I’m still dreaming about the blackened fish tacos. Sit upstairs! Amazing place to cool off from the beach while still looking at it. Doc’s is the definition of a great beach bar meets sports bar. Cash only. Beer and wine only. Valet available. Large group friendly. Open 365 days.

Everything was “not the best, not the worst”. Overpriced due to location. Strange to me that they were cash only due to the proximity to the beach and lack of other options - give them credit for having the ATM there, but still. Staff was friendly and nice. Food came out much faster than I thought it would given how busy it is. I have fish tacos which were mediocre at best and disappointing for the price that they didn’t include a side of any kind and was just two average size and average tasting fish tacos. My husband has the triple decker which was fine - can’t really mess those up - and my son had a cheeseburger, the burger was the best out of the three. Pina colada wasn’t very good and the beer was beer. I’d go again only because of the convenience of the location for sunset, not because I particularly liked anything.

Had a good meal with a great view. We were upstairs watching the sunset having our dinner. I had the Italian sausage, minus the peppers and onions, while my daughter had the chicken fingers. She really enjoyed the meaty fingers with a great hot sauce. The fries were just ok and could have been crispier for my taste. The Italian sausage had really good flavor. I would have preferred the sausage was spicy, however still had really good flavor. Dee, Dee took great care of us and our beer was never empty. They had ice cold beer which I really enjoy. If we are in the area again will definitely go again.

We enjoyed our lunch with the vibes and views. We ordered jerk wings which was delicious, we also got shrimp tacos which my gf said it tasted very good, and cheesesteak which I honestly give a 3 out of 10. The drinks we ordered was on yummy. They have complimentary parking which is a plus. We will def be back for dinner and the sunset view

We went this evening to celebrate our dear friend Carl's life. He and his wife Gina went every Friday together. Doc's honored him with a photo of him in his happy place in their upstairs dining area. Great friendly atmosphere. I'm a life long Bonita Springs resident, and I've always loved Doc's. Their food is delicious, and not overpriced. Good people there.

I have been coming to Doc's since I was a kid, I still am a loyal guest. They are extremely popular around sunset every night, but they do offer first come first serve beach seating. If you are coming down to Florida and would like a casual dining experience with a beach, amazing sunset and great food come on down to Doc's. The attached photos are from my last trip there during the sunset!

A nice place on the beach. Rebuilding from the hurricane. They sell food and drink and souvenirs. Outside seating, dog friendly. It's a great spot to watch the sunset.

Considering they are still dealing with issues from the hurricane if was still a great beach experience and the food and drinks were on point. Recommend anybody in the neighborhood stop by.

Stopped for an impromptu lunch while visiting the area not realizing they’d been closed since Ian and were in the end stages of rebuilding. Happy to find they were running a food truck out back to still serve their community. Decent variety of food offered like burgers, wings, chicken fingers and my favorite…fresh blackened grouper sandwich with thin fries. Soooo good! Freshly made to order and quickly prepared. Enjoyed with a frosty pina colada strawberry daiquiri mix. Lots of stone tables and chairs with big umbrellas along the beach to eat at. Only downside is it’s cash only, although they did have an atm machine set up. And even though they probably save on fees not having a credit card machine, I suspect if they did, they’d generate more sales, including their merch set up in the tent. Wishing them all the best as they get ready to reopen soon. I’d definitely revisit the next time I’m over on the west coast.

I can't really rate the food, when we went they were using a food truck due to hurricane Ian. We had chicken fingers and fries. They were good and we got quite a good portion.

Can't wait for they to reopen Sunsets are great there The food wasn't really the best around But the proximity to the beach was the nice part Hopefully they will do better Definitely recommend this place

The food is very good! The price is are very reasonable! I don't much care for having to valet park my car or the cash only deal. I can understand the parking slightly since the lot is so small but the cash only is pretty strange. The great food helps make up for it though. I highly recommend going on a nice day when you can take advantage of the beautiful view.

Amazing scenery! We ordered food at the window for take out so we could go sit in one of several spots on the edge of the beach, which is right next to the restaurant. My fish tacos were delicious and quite filling. My wife's salad was expensive, but quality ingredients and a good portion. My favorite food item was actually the jalapeno poppers! Came with an Asian sweet and sour sauce that paired really well. Good food and for a good price considering the location. Best part is the location as you can sit and enjoy your meal right next to the water! Would highly recommend.

Beach is open, beautiful water as of 4/2. Rented jets skis from Doc’s, food truck is there, drinks. Get there early 8Am-9am to get parking 🅿️. It gets packed quick. Other then that can’t get any better.
