Fully nature park with loving people, animals, and environment

I do some travel writing and Bonny is one of my favourite places to go. An excerpt: Our next stop is the absolutely gorgeous Finima Nature Park; an oasis of nature’s finest, guaranteed to give succour to even the most troubled soul. The twenty year-old park was created from a burrow pit, which served as a supply unit during the construction of the LNG residential area. It boasts of its own creek for lively sailors like yours truly, a miniature zoo, a briefing room and a play area for guests. This slice of heaven would be perfect for a romantic getaway, a family outing, a nature hike or a movie shoot with its picturesque greenery. The park is managed by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation and is accessible to the public for free. I indulge in a bit of bird-watching and sailing before I bid a reluctant farewell to the park. I definitely cannot wait to return.

It's calming, you can visit the beach, ride in a canoe while learning about the flora and fauna, play chess and scrabble, do a nature walk, see a whale body. You may come across an alligator but no worries. They have two lively peacocks and the park is quite sustainable when it comes to some of their designs.

I have much love for this place. It offers a splendid chance to immerse oneself in the marvels of nature. I greatly appreciate the lush green surroundings, the serene water features, and the recreational activities available. This establishment is an excellent choice for both relaxation and spending quality time with friends and family. The staff members were exceptionally hospitable; I distinctly recall making a prior inquiry, and the person who answered the call was exceptionally courteous. The facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience. The canoe ride was a highlight for me; the guide took the time to enlighten us about various aspects of the place. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable outing.

Very nice place to take your kids during holidays for fun, the natural view is almost perfect, with nice animals to watch, a wide play ground for kids, you can also go on boat cruise, although kids are not allowed for boat cruise. I loved every bit of my experience there. you will love it.

This is a nature park with some small animals, a pond/lake, a canopy walk, a playground, an exhibit of the skeleton of two whales and a souvenir shop. It is free to enter and it’s a perfect spot for nature lovers.

Have not really been into the place but its looking good from the outside. I plan to go there soon to visit. From the outside, i saw peacocks and monkeys, cant wait to see whats more in there. Also looking like the Lekki Conservation Centre. Will check and compare.

Fantastic natural setting. A place for sightseeing and picnic. Come and see nature at its best. Animals like monkeys, peacocks, and other forest animals dwell there freely. The people managing the park are hospitable.

This place is a breathe of fresh air. The staff try their best. The park is a good place to relax and spend time with family and friends. I loved the canoe ride. The park needs more facilities and fun attractions and possibly more permanent canopy or shades. You don't want to be there when it's really sunny. It can get uncomfortable and hot because of less shade. All the same keep doing your best.

This place is cool but it's not 100 percent.

Great environment for hangouts, excellent for get-togethers....

A good place to be one with nature, to see the creation of the celestial been. With a clean and structured park, to see animals and planets and other species of animals. It's a solid 4 stars for me.

A great place with rich faona and flora. I marvel at the amount of carbon capture and ecosystem stabilisation potentials it has. Good place for family bonding and get-together. Need to be in your "To-visit" list.

Finima Nature Park is a professionally managed park that offers everything from beautiful forest, a lake, monkeys, birds, Peacocks and other wildlifes. The rangers are also very knowledgeable about trees and other plants.

A very cool natural environment for relaxation,vacations and picnic. A place where ?monkeys, cobra and other wild animals dwell in a natural God made setting. Also, the hospitality is superb.

It truly a an engagement with nature. Wildlife conservation is rare in oil and gas communities. This made FNP special. You need to have that experience.

The park is well maintained and gives an authentic view of the fauna and flora of the delta. The guides were very knowledgeable.

The experience as been so Good. I like to experience the mother nature and the place is 100% nature. You wound not want to leave if you visit there

Great view good to b there

Finima Nature park as the name implies is actually a nature park. Filled with green vegetations and other eco friendly plants. It's actually a walkway of about an hour walk, it's good for people want to do exercise away from the busy atmosphere and environment. Very quiet and serene place. I actually saw some monekys on the tree top though not agressive. The staffs are very friendly and easy going as well. But I advise you go during the dry season.
