Great place where music fans and live band worshippers mingle with good vibes people wanting to share a chill with fun and laughter. And at the back is a large inner courtyard converted in a lovely restaurant serving exquisite quality food. Service is impeccable very professional efficient and with genuine kind hearted people. Come early and enjoy the experience as it guarantees a good night our with friends, party of 2 or even solo, as there are plenty of people to meet.

Good place to hang out if you like live music. Food is not that great but they do have interesting menu. Hope it gets better overtime

I wanted to check out a gig here so I came for food first. Not cheap or huge portions but the meal I had was really nice. Admittedly it's a bit of an awkward place to dine alone, and not sure if it's related but I got a weird vibe from at least one member of the staff... The gig itself was so busy that it wasn't possible to see the band through the crowd, and there's no ventilation so it was uncomfortably hot.

Came because Google said they have live music. Arrived - “NO LIVE MUSIC IN THE SUMMER”. Otherwise like most other places here. Disappointed.

Brand new and trendy bar, great selection of alcohol, quite big for the city, there is a scene, most of the time dedicated to the city's artist, I didn't taste the food served, but there is only two mains, one meat and one catch of the day, and the restaurant itself looks pretty, not noisy at all.

Seemed like a cool place, open Mic night, bands were great. Bar staff seemed way too focused on making cocktails yet the venue didn't seem to match that....person who served us seemed way too more interested in big flamboyant cocktail making than Just serving us a pint

This is the kind of jazz club and restaurant that lovers of jazz and good food always hope to find when they travel. The food is nicely executed, reasonably priced and delicious. It was my first encounter with duck parmentier (kind of like a Shepherd's Pie made with duck). It was delicious. However, the real reason we were drawn to this very atmospheric venue was to hear some live jazz. We live in New York City and are jazz lovers. We always try to find local jazz when we travel. The set we saw was superb. It was as good as anything we would have seen that evening at a jazz club in New York City. I mean that as very high praise. Dinner and music at Quartier Libre made for a very special evening, made even more special by the fact that it was off-the-beaten tourist track.

Fantastic food and service in the restaurant. The bar was busy, as a jazz jam was on. Great night out for a birthday. Highly recommend
