What a discovery! This unassuming restaurant packs a powerful punch. The food was incredible (I still can’t stop thinking about the butternut soup topped with chopped black olives). The wine selection is lovingly curated and features unique wines (just don’t ask for Bordeaux wines or act vexed when the answer is no). The place truly deserves its name: the tables around us consisted of buddies having a great time while enjoying delicious food and wine in a convivial atmosphere :)

A must visit Restaurant in Bordeaux, great food and great service. I ordered the Fish, it was so tasty, every bite was so pure satisfaction, even the Fish Skin was so well prepared, Amazing!

Smoked squid and sausage to start, slow-cooker pork for the main. C'est manifique. Really cool vibe as well. You can tell its a locals hangout, probably people who have been coming for years

Possible one of the most memorable meals we have ever had. The atmosphere, the people, the food, the selection, the wine were all perfect. The pork cooked for 6 hours was epic, with a parsley basil and olive oil mash! The burger was delicious. The foie gras amazing. Book ahead of time as they only have 6 tables and are always full. Highly highly recommended!

Amazing food with an amazing owner

Location was great, Right on the main path along the river . We had the daily special - crispy beef roasted zucchini homemade puree. The beef was a bit tough, but the flavors were excellent. As a starter we had a sweet potato covered with just the right amount of something between cream cheese and crème fraîche. Service was outstanding - One waiter for the entire restaurant. Even though it’s a small restaurant, he was awesome. We didn’t stay for coffee or dessert, but it looked good.

Absolute gem. The chef and waiter were so kind and clearly enjoy what they do. I had the delicious fresh ceviche which was a perfectly refreshing dinner. So glad I found this place, don’t miss out!

Came by for our final lunch in Bordeaux- such a hidden gem! Very attentive, great atmosphere and vibes inside. The food was excellent. We got the burrata and beef tartare to start. I will dream about the steak sandwich that had cheese melted on top of the bread, alongside a delicious simple salad and crispy fries. Thank you for a delicious and memorable meal!

This was such a pleasant surprise. We randomly walked in looking for a decent spot to eat and it was truly exceptional. Complexity of the dishes, quality of ingredients, flavours, and cute ambiance. Highly recommend and will come back! Recommend sitting at the bar to watch chef Jean-Baptiste prepare the dishes. Really enjoyed how much joy he has in his craft.

We sat inside and the playlist was *so* good, I also loved being able to watch in the kitchen. Service was kind, an English menu is available. The food was delicious - provided lots of flavour, different textures and portions were perfect. Their dessert of the day was delicious, as was everything we tried. It sounds as though the menu changes (perhaps with the season)! Highly recommend, if we lived here it would be a regular spot for us 🤍

The service and the food at Les Copains is great. The meals we ordered were made with fresh produce and were very tasty. The wine selection was good and complimented the meal. We were very happy with our dining experience and will be returning. Book in advance because it is pretty popular and with good reason. The establishment is easily accessed by getting off the tram at Cors Medoc and walking towards Cite du Vin.

We enjoyed the wines very much. The food is okay. Nice place to share a moment with friends.

Doesn’t answer phone. Took the chance of taking an Uber across the city and when I arrived they were unable to accommodate and extremely rude. I wouldn’t bother going out of my way to come here again

Perfect first night in Bordeaux at Bistrot Maurice, staff are very friendly and the food is beautiful. Definitely recommend Sandwich! We would love to come back again.

As I was in Bordeaux for a conference, Bistrot Maurice is a must if you want to go for tasty meals and/or wine(s). Affordable, good atmosphere and very friendly service. There vision of using local produce is reflected in the very well prepared meals. 5/5!
