Lovely staff and good quality charcuterie board for raclette.

Excellent restaurant, nice and warm environment - beautiful stone gallery with fireplace in the center. Their speciality are cheese dishes from the Alpes. Very authentic: excellent food, loved the explanation on the origin of the cheeses and meats (producers). Service overall was good. Wine list offers local wines (Bordeaux) and indeed wines from Savoie/ the Alpes. Asked questions abt the Savoie wines to make a choice, the waiter wasn’t able to answer, had to ask him to go ask someone else if possible. Then we chose a specific wine and were served another one from same appellation but different producer without warning ( - disappointing)

Had a great meal here - raclette for two, with beer/red wine respectively. Raclette was served with a nice salad and cooked potatoes, and we had a tiny wood-burning oven to roast them all together. The minor downside is that we had a tiny wood-burning oven at our table and it was a hot day already, but c'est la vie.

Awesome food! We got in just before a big queue developed. We had fondue and it was awesome!

The fondue royale was just amazing and with the cheese you receive a good amount of meat, potatoes and bread. We took the foduex2 which would have been actually enough for 3 people. The restaurant atmosphere and fornitures reminds of a Chalet on the Alpes. I totally loved it and I recommend this place!

Amazing. The food is really good, quality excellent. We have eaten so much and we could not finish everything. When we had our bill it was even less expensive than we expected considering the quantity we eat.

The Food and staff really good but it is very disappointing the heat inside, the heat doesn’t made us enjoy 100% the experience. Check it before dining it.

Very poor service. We waited almost 2 hours for one fondue and La rochette?! They do not speak English at all! It is funny that when we ask questions to our waitress she kept saying same French words back to us. The restaurant is the most worst memory I had in Bordeux! Food was just okay but too much cheese that 2 people could possibly eat. They did not allow us to order one meal though so we ended up eastig 1/3 of meal at 10 pm…since we weren’t able to get our meals by then!

I have never had a wood-fired raclette before - we only have an electric one in Canada. It is also hard to find cheeses like these :)

Poor guest services, they don't take reservations and take people who speak French first over those that speak English even if you were in line before those that speak french

Excellent service and very generous portions

I’ve been to La Meule Du Berger for both the raclette and fondue experience. Each time my server was able to assist me in English and provided me with good service. My advice is arrive early as there is always a line of people waiting once they open. At times I have witnessed others waiting a little bit for their food but it is an authentic restaurant with the stove in plan view and the fact is that they can only heat so many charcoals at a time so again my advice is to arrive early. Being from the states the Fondue experience is very different as it just comes with bread and whole potatoes unless you order meat. The cheese was so reach and creamy! I also had the raclette experience again on this trip and it was very good I think I mastered how long to cook my cheese for the perfect spread on my veggies. The servings are large so arrive with an empty stomach.

Food was delicious, it's just they refuse to take reservation, making us wait outside for hours. Not for covid times.
