A wide selection of over-the-counter quick eateries under one roof, with several bars throughout. Pick your favourite food, then saunter over to a bar and complement your choice with a good glass of wine. Often busy, especially during lunch hours. Prices are adequate, and the food we had at several stalls was of very good quality. Hungrily recommended!

The wine bar served wine of excellent quality for very reasonable prices. Oysters and seafood were great. Unfortunately over half of the food stalls were closed so I can not rate with more stars.

Located opposite La Cité du Vin wine experience and a twenty minute walk to the converted World War 2 submarine base (Les Bassins des Lumières) this modern French food market is a “must do” visit when visiting Bordeaux. Eat in or take away. An excellent range ofFrench food as well as other countries. The seafood at the far end is excellent and fresh and serves perfect Chardonnay to wash down those oysters and other seafood delicacies. Plenty of outside seating with a huge selection of drinks to choose from. A few minutes walk from the Cité du Vin tram stop. Highly recommended!

Nice to wonder round but it’s a very upmarket gourmet market, not the typical French market I was expecting. That said you can get some great dishes cooked to order!

A vast selection of food which will fit everyone’s needs, however we got three different dishes in order to try everything however 2 of those dishes were extremely disappointing (to the level of inedible). I am not a fussy eater, however our pork sandwich was toasted on the outside while the inside was still ice cold and dry. The chicken/truffle sandwich had no traces of truffle or any form of spice (not even salt), and the chicken was also ice cold (whereas the potatoes it came with was steaming hot). Great concept however my friends and I were disappointed when we left.

Definitely Visit Les Halles during your Bordeaux Stay. Jump on the tram B I think and it will drop you approx 2min from the entrance. The market halls are open to the public and filled with artisan producers, a restaurants and a cafés. Whatever your fancy from fresh seafood to Burrata salads to pasta to tapas, you'll find some great eats here (including a significant amount of beer, wine and cocktails).

Simply amazing!! It’s a must to pay attention to the hours of the entire market as well as the individual stalls.

Before we went in to La Cite Du Vin, we went across the street to grab some food because we were getting quite hungry. We got some sandwiches as well as it appears to be a Spanish Patatas Bravas dish with chorizo and a Mayo based sauce. Solid but not the best.

The food that we tasted was good. Everything is here is good looking and mouthwatering. The prices are rather high. Aronccini for 7,50 € And the sandwich (instead of bun there was a cabbage I think) was for 12 € don't take snails! it's just rubber (

Near La Ciudad del Vino Wine Museum, there's a food square, and it's the most cost-effective option for dining after visiting the museum. 🦪Oysters 🦪 This stall has the longest queues, a dozen oysters for €23.9. While it's pricier compared to coastal towns, it's a good value in Bordeaux. The taste is excellent, with the only drawback being that you might not get full. 🍤Shrimp and Cuttlefish Salad This one isn't very tasty; the shrimp and cuttlefish are overcooked, making them quite tough and losing the seafood's tenderness. The texture is poor, and the accompanying chili isn't good either. I wouldn't recommend buying this! 🍟The fast-food-style combo in the second picture, chicken wings with potato chunks, is popular among many people. But if you don't eat pork, be careful; there's bacon beneath the chicken wings! Don't eat it by mistake! There are various food options available, but after 3 PM, many places have already closed, limiting the variety of dishes you can try. To the shop that makes éclairs, please take note: make more chocolate-flavored ones! Coffee-flavored ones are less popular, so consider offering more of what customers actually want. One downside is that there are no vendors offering freshly squeezed fruit juices, and non-alcoholic beverage options are quite limited!

Nice good selection of different food, dessert and drink options. However, the good lacked seasoning. We had the tiarimisu, seafood, Spanish and empanada but left underwhelmed. Great ambience but food soho.

Such a fun stop in Bordeaux! Essentially a food court with lots of options for just about anyone. Our favorite spot was the empanadas! Just be careful when you go - We went around 2:30 pm and things began closing fast. There was just one stand open by 3:00. Still a great experience!

Excllcent place to visit if your not sure what food to get, as it caters for everyone vegetarian lovers to seafood. Little stalls surrounded with high tables and outdoor seating. Expect it to be very busy and crowded We were thinking to have a light snack, ended ordering so many things as we wanted to try everything. Reminisce of Lisbon timeout food hall hut with with more choices, prices Vary but mostly at reasonable prices

Located across the City of Wine museum, this food hall offers a wide array of dish options, from tapas and cold cuts to andouillette & seafood. The quality of the food is pretty good and fresh. It can get very crowded and uneasy to find a table so you may want to go early. In terms of drinks, there are some local wines and beers, although the overall price can be a bit pricey, it's still worth the detour for the atmosphere and experience!

I think you should go. Take a look around. Enjoy the easy breezy nature of the place. relax grab a quick bite and a bottle of wine and prepare yourself the for the next door museum. I wouldn't call it so much a destination as a nice distraction that is worth a visit.

This is a really nice "Food Court" style place with many vendors selling traditional local and international street food. Also this is a good place to find fresh oisters. Very close / walking distance to Wine Museum.

Very nice alternative for lunch. The hall was filled with lots of good quality food based stalls with most of them serving food to eat there and then. Plenty of basic benches and seats which add to the atmosphere and lots of good quality food which will appeal to chefs and foodies more widely.

Lively food hall with good vibes. Head inside to pick food from your favorite vendor and grab seats at their counter or outside on the terrace. We grabbed lunch at one of the seafood vendors. Great option after visiting La Cite du Vin. It can get crowded during prime time.

Lots of great choices for food and drink. We had great food from the Basque themed stall

Great spot for lunch. The choice is overwhelming in a good sense, you can be in Spain, Colombia, Asia, Reunion whilst never leaving Bordeaux.

Went at 3pm on Sunday and most of the places were closing or closed. Not as great a variety as expected and poor signage/service - we were mostly ignored at many stalls. But definitely a popular hang and cool hang out spot right across from Cité du Vin with lots of people drinking on patio outside. Will try to come again at different time and experience might be better.

As a foodie this is an exciting place to visit. Food was great quality and I enjoyed the oysters, seafood paella and a glass of wine.
