👍👍 This place is amazing 💯 $30 per person for dinner and there was a huge selection of foods to choose from (even prawns, mussels and baby octopus!) If you're not much into seafood then there are plenty of meat selections including sliced beef and chicken to add to your own little personal hot pot.... People often mention soup, train, selection, plates, people, restaurant, time, great, variety, fresh,

This place is amazing 💯 $30 per person for dinner and there was a huge selection of foods to choose from (even prawns, mussels and baby octopus!) If you're not much into seafood then there are plenty of meat selections including sliced beef and chicken to add to your own little personal hot pot. Your $30 also includes desert and they even have a soft serve machine 🍦 If you don't know how hot pots work (this was only my 2nd time so still figuring it out) the staff are really helpful and it's not hard to figure out you just watch everyone else. If you're looking for somewhere to go for a first date (or a blind date) i reckon this place is great because you and your date will be sitting next to each other rather than opposite each other so can be a little less awkward than facing each other and eating 🤷‍♀️ plus it gets pretty busy so it can feel a little safer on a first or blind date. Its less than 100m from the Springvale train station. There are limited parking spaces out front but there is a multi level parking directly opposite. If you've read this far then just get in your car and go there already you won't regret it I promise. I also saw on the wall that lunch is $25!!!! Amazing 🥰

Great experience. The broths have nice flavor and the rotary plates keep coming. The staff are friendly and has a seasoning/ sauce/ desert buffet. Great to see people enjoying their meal. Adds to the atmosphere. Probably not ideal for large groups and can use a bit more variety in plates but very pleasant.

Highly recommended! Great selection of soups, lots of fresh food to choose from and All you Can eat for a low cost. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming again, this is a hidden gem in the heart of Springvale, South East Melbourne. Cannot wait to bring the family!

The hotpot buffet restaurant is disappointingly overpriced for the limited food choices it offers. At approximately $28 per person, they fail to provide any hot dishes, which are readily available at other hotpot buffet restaurants in Melbourne. The soup base is nothing more than a basic stock cube with boiling water, resulting in a lack of flavor. The selection of ingredients is sparse, consisting mainly of sliced frozen meat, cheap meatballs, and a limited variety of vegetables. Unfortunately, the sliced meat appears less than fresh, displaying a brownish color, and the vegetables seem poorly picked, making them difficult to chew. The sauce station is chaotic and poorly organised, with missing labels, leaving customers clueless about the sauces available. Moreover, the self-serve station is messy, with spills of soup and sauce all over the place. The waitstaff appear to be overburdened and disinterested in providing attentive service, which is evident from their tired demeanor. To make matters worse, they seemingly conceal information about a free drink offer for cash payments, forcing customers to discover it themselves. Hygiene is also a concern at this restaurant, as the tables are greasy, and broken and worn-out plates are in use. Overall, this hotpot buffet restaurant does not meet the standards expected for its price range, and there are better options available in Melbourne for a more satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

What a fantastic experience for our first "food train" restaurant! We came for dinner with 2 adults and a toddler and were seated quite promptly, despite a bigger group of people before us waiting for seats without a booking. They immediately got a high chair and gave us a plate each of prawns and muscles, alongside our pot of soup ready to place on the stove. The ingredients were fresh and there was a large assortment from meats, seafood, veggies to desserts and an ice cream machine. You will fill yourself up before you know it! We paid $30 per adult and my toddler ate free being under 4 years of age. It was completely safe for our toddler as the high chair doesn't sit high enough for any accidents to occur, especially when there's a hot pot of soup and stove involved. However it was sufficient for us adults to feed our toddler especially as the seating is made for the food train experience. I did see a section with tables where you can be given a hotplate and pot and eat traditionally although I'm not sure how the food is provided. There were no session times (Wednesday night) to adhere to, so first in, first served for us. They ask for payment prior and are constantly clearing your plates and bowls while you eat. There's a dessert table with your usual fruit, dessert and condiments for hot pot. You also get a free can of soft drink so don't forget that! The stove controls are quite easy to use, increase and decrease heat/on and off. I definitely recommend a small group to come and if you're going in a larger group of more than 5, I'd recommend you book ahead as there's only so much seating there.

You can choose what food you want on the rotator. There are some different kinds of soup flavour. I really like the appetizers in buffet table. The hot pot set is worthy and the lunch price is valued.

Quality hot-pot for a decent price in the south-east. If attending as a group, try to get the tables as the long tables make it hard to socialise with friends.

Fantastic selection of seafood, meat, poultry, vegies with lovely broth selection and variety of sauces to dip and eat. This restaurant is an ALL you can eat style - $27 for lunch and $36 for dinner. Open every day 11-3 and 5-10 (I think). You sit at your spot and pick a soup - I went for creamy spicy soup 🤤 - they place it in the inverter space in front of you. Selection of food on sushi plates go around for people to pick up and start cooking in their own little hot pots. Totally loved my soup and every morsel I cooked in it. Recommend this to everyone who loves hot pot. There are a few selection of fresh fruit (oranges sliced); sambulong and gelato from a machine - as desserts.

One of the first hot pot that has a conveyor belt, wide selection of seafood, pork, beef, vegetables, and different kinds of noodles and fish balls etc. The restaurant offers 3 kinds of soup base, spicy, tom yum, and creamy soup base. Paying cash ensures you a can of drink. A variety of sauces as well however it’s not labelled. The restaurant also have ice cream, salad, and fresh fruits for dessert. A great experience for us 😊

Street hotpot Springvale 10/10 for me. I’ve never been disappointed when coming here. Great for dining with company or alone. I like the layout and the conveyor belt. Price is inclusive of all food and if you bring cash there are a few little freebies.

What I really like about this place is the servings are on sealed plates that's consistently replaced. I think it's better than the open style fridges in other places. The food selection is insane! Everything is fresh and delicious. $30 a head is OK value for a casual and fun meal.

Cheap all-you-can-eat hot pot, with lots of choices for the soup base. Give you a small serving of mussels and prawns at the begging. Food Trail carries a small serving of ingredients on each plate. Suitable for people who like to try a bit of everything. They even give you a free can of drink if you pay cash. But you can pay by card as well. Nothing to complain about!

Kind of like sushi train but a hot pot buffet. Food was average but the price was unbeatable, dinner for only $30 per person.

Go to hotpot place for me as the broths don’t hurt my stomach and I can add what I feel like when I feel like it as the ingredients are on a train. Very busy all of the time, just walk in. Better with two people than a big group. Service is okay. Manager is a bit to the point. People clearing plates were lovely. Needs a few more ingredients added to the train. The soft serve at the end is to die for!

Had an interesting time here. I loved the idea of a rotary hotpot. I appreciated the starter of seafood, but was saddened to see many people not eating them. Huge prawns and mussels wasted. Otherwise portions were good. The seating was a little uncomfortable, which may be the system to stop people from eating too much.

Was very entertained by my husband who had no clue how it worked. Cool hot pot train. Food went around on a train like platform, which you could select what you wanted. When you first arrive, there is a discount deal for cash payment. You get a seat and choose a soup base. Then comes out prawns and muscles. Then it's all hand on adding your selections to your hot pot. It would be great if they had some labels or something on the food that went around because we had no idea what we were eating. Was a good time, and for $25 a head some fun. Cleanliness is good. Taste good. Amenities small, no space for baby change.

The food was great, even though there are not variety of foods in here. But it was good enough for me to have a nice meal at the restaurant. Free one cane for drink if you pay by cash.

1st time eating at a place like this. Absolutely loved it. I love food, very rarely something captures me. So much variety, meat, seafood, vegetarian. Also desserts. Definitely going back.

I saw an extremely negative review here when deciding whether to visit for a meal with my children. They complained about the "limited variety of food and almost no meat and poor vegetables, poor hygiene and maintenance" all of which I dispute. Some people go out looking for something to complain about and if they don't find it they will fabricate it just to be noticed. All I can say is that we all thoroughly enjoyed out time there and will certainly visit again. In response to the negative review there was a wide assortment of meats, vegetables, assorted noodle styles and intriguing Asian delicacies which were all fresh and well prepared and constantly refilled. Each person was provided with a plate containing 3 large prawns and 2 mussels. The covered plates, bench tops and pots were all extremely clean. My children and I had a ball creating our individual meals and only sad that we could not manage to eat it all or try more of the many interesting items passing by us constantly. The service was quick, the environment was relaxing and the staff were extremely polite and attentive. Receiving a cold can of drink (of our choice) for each person when paying cash was a welcome addition as we did not have to outlay extra money for a drink. The only thing that could have made it better would have been getting a take-away container to take the unfinished food home, it felt like such a waste and it was so delicious. We will certainly be back.
