Interesting place and concept with ambitious and surprisingly expensive menu. Presentation was good but everything tasted fairly bland. Dined in early Feb 2021 before the lockdown.

I was here for a live performance, it was packed. I really enjoyed the ambience. The service and food are excellent. Mantra Studio Kitchen and Bar in Yarraville is an intimate venue that is a melting pot for outstanding food, coffee, service + live entertainment 😍

Surprising little hideaway! Went here with friends for an early dinner before going to a show on a Saturday night. Chose it because of location and we were really surprised to find a two level, beautifully fitted out eating space. Food was delicious. Cocktails were great. Service was friendly. Seating was ok.

I happened to come across this place while looking for a place to get a drink outside of Melbourne. This was by far the friendliest and most attentive restaurant I've been to in the area and the food was amazing! We were welcomed with smiling faces, invited to play trivia immediately by the trivia host and offered a custom experience including fantastic cocktails and food recommendations. Everything about the visit that evening was enjoyable and I highly recommend this restaurant. Special thanks to Kat for the fantastic margarita and suggestions for our next adventure.

Mantra Studio is a beautiful space tucked away in Yarraville. We had our wedding reception here and cannot recommend it highly enough. Dave and Patsy were incredibly accommodating while we planned our reception. They were happy to meet with us several times while we figured out seating arrangements and were even going to make new tables to accommodate our guests. They met with our caterer to organise catering and kitchen use. They provided bar, wait and kitchen staff for the day; staff were friendly and efficient. There is a larger studio with a stage at the back which we were able to use for a Hindu ceremony. Patsy and Dave were very respectful of the rituals and requirements of our ceremony. They have a great sound system and microphones available to use. We were lucky to find Mantra Studio. We had an amazing wedding reception and many great memories!

SUPERB experience with Mantra Studio Kitchen Bar. I held my 40th here for 50 people and the venue was perfect. The light streaming through windows, gorgeous tear drop lighting and GREENERY meant I didn’t need to lift a finger with decoration just a few choice personalised displays. From the get go David stood apart from other venues. He replied enquires for one! He was quick to invite me to visit the venue and get a feel for the place in person. He spent hours with me on minute detail of how I wanted the evening to go. The food selection was expansive and accomodating to meat eaters and vegan guests I had. The guests adored the food especially lamb cutlet mushroom bao .. got compliments aplenty on it next day. The staff were exceptional. Worked seamlessly with my MC and felt like part of the group of friends and fam attending my birthday. As the birthday girl they kept reminding me to eat and holding vegan food aside for me so that I would not go without while floating around socialising. Other notes: -I had free leeway to drop things off as the event approached. - On the night I didn’t have to pack up was fine to pick up things next day at lunch - Flat venue and food fee so I knew what I was in for - Excellent selection of quality drinks - Seamless projector to add a video or loop photographs - Good option to sit inside or in courtyard area rain or shine Separate room for me to have a time out and change out fits

The atmosphere was great. We arrived with a very warm welcome and was shown to our table. The menu had been changed since we had visited last which made for a tough decision on our meals. They were good in size and were very delicious. The service was second to none. It was lovely to chat to the owner and hear all about their future plans. Can’t wait to come back when the music sessions begin.

Great food, but disappointed that they chose the middle of lunch service, to retap/clean the kegs ("sorry none of our tap beers are available, the lines are full of water")

This really is a hidden suburban gem. A gorgeous trendy oasis nestled in Yarraville. Perfect for that drop in coffee, delicious friend filled brunch, family dinners. Sunday afternoons sharing music, mouth watering dishes and vino. I chose to celebrate my milestone birthday here in June and they created the most magical experience for me, every details, every menu choice and amazing service. Patsy and Dave the two owners have nothing but passion and love for creating the experience you’re after. Love this place. Side note: The barramundi Ceviche alone is worth the trip.

What a beauty! Brought my partner and a friend for their birthday lunch and was very impressed! The ambience and service! Class. Will be back soon.

What an awesome night!  A discovery of wonderful food, drinks &  ambience, overseen by the hosts Dave & Patsy in quiet pocket of Yarraville. Can't wait for the Sunday Jazz Sessions @ Mantra. ...would love to see if square dancing could making a comeback there.

This venue is amazing, I had arranged my partners 41st birthday and it was the perfect place. The venue had a nice vibe, the jazz band playing was outstanding, the food was delicious, and best of all, Dave, Patsy and the team were all so easy and friendly to deal with. I'd highly recommend Mantra Studio and my friends and I will definitely be dropping in for a Sunday Jazz and Tapas session. Thanks again!

Recently my husband and I were able to host our wedding and reception here. Patsy and David were so accomodating, really thought about our needs and what we wanted and the food was exceptional. All this planning and organising was done very last minute due to Covid-19 but the team down at Mantra really showed flexibility and bloody great service! Would recommend any kind of function or just to grab an awesome bite to eat. It's become our local go to!
