More refreshing then the beer itself is the service πŸ™πŸΌ we were welcomed by the bartender with a smile and humorous explanation of the beers I wish I could get the same service in all breweries! Definitely coming back! Chestnut Beer is sooo delicious 🀀

Hard Road Brewing was an unexpected find amongst the industrial backdrop of the area. We were greeted by Kevin, who's passion for beer, brewing and good times was the perfect introduction to this establishment. Chestnut Brown is incredibly good and worth the $18 for the take home 4 pack. Get a ride share to Hard Road Brewing and leave the car at home.

Great spot to spend an afternoon or night. Beers on tap are nice, as are the pizzas that they serve. Very happy that this is in the area. Will certainly make it a regular.

Great little brewery in the Bayswater industrial district. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Great choice of beers on tap, and many other options for those that don't drink beer. Small play area for the kids to enjoy while parents enjoy a couple of beverages. Van out the front serving hot food to enjoy while you sip on your drinks.

A hidden gem. The outside factory setting doesn't justify the inside vibe. It is a great brewery with excellent staff and drinks.

One my favourite craft beer venues. The Chestnut Brown is the go to beer, especially in winter. An awesome selection of beers. Pizzas are delicious and make it a perfect Sunday session. The new fireplace is perfect for the cold winter days. Love the food vans and live music.

This place is a hidden gem! Great beer on tap with a variety to choose from to suit various pallets, comfortable lounges and tables positioned with just the right amount of space to feel cozy and not over crowded. The staff and the owner are really friendly and great to have a chat to. Didn't get to try the pizzas but they definitely looked and smelt fab!

I attended a 40th birthday last night and I could not be more impressed. The staff were the most helpful and pleasant men and women I’ve come across in a very long time. The pizzas were just simply delicious and the mushroom and garlic pizza the best vegetarian pizza I’ve had. We will be back and would not hesitate to recommend this place to others. Job well done everyone and thank you.

Great little bar for a casual beer. Pool table and a little area for the kids to play so you can enjoy a hard earned brew. Friendly and welcoming staff. Drop in for a look.

Great beer and atmosphere. Service was also good. Also has a small play area to keep the kids entertained. We went there to have beer and pizza, but unfortunately they were not serving pizza due to a food truck on-site. The food truck was from Digging For Fire BBQ, who I do not rate at all. Soggy and overpriced burgers, over cooked chicken wings and chips are an extra ($8) per serve. I hope that next time I attend, they are cooking the pizzas as they are much better than the food truck.

Stopped on a whim after seeing the road side sign. Great little brewery with a decent selection of beers to suit most tastes preferences. I bought a growler of the ESB to takeaway. Nice and spacious, a kid's corner, big TV, and foosball tables. Will come back.

Great brewery with super friendly staff. Beers are excellent and the food is great too. We had a couple of tasting paddles and the vegetarian pizza which were all delicious. If only they were closer to home, although that could be dangerous :)

Lein, Ange and Kevin, Thank you for making my 50th birthday celebrations so memorable for our guests. Hard Road with the casual and homely feel and and awesome selection of craft beer and wine was the perfect location for a relaxed and enjoyable celebration with our family and friends. Your attention to detail and support made it simple and straightforward, nothing was a problem or imposition on your team, by the end of the night they also felt like family and friends thanks again.

My family (70 people) had a get together on Saturday last at this brewery. Unanamous 10/10. Lovely place, great beer, fabulous pizzas, and just such a happy comfortable place to be thanks to wonderful owners and all staff who create the easy going atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience.

A wonderful brewery hiding in Bayswater's industrial area. They are brewing up some really interesting beers, from Little Ludwig Lager, through pale ales and ESB to brown ales and stouts. In particular the Drongo's Revenge ESB is a malt driven beauty reminiscent of an English best bitter. There is also a great range of guest beers from all over Victoria, as well as cider, wine and spirits if beer is not your thing. The space is large with plenty of seating. The attitude is casual, the staff brilliant - really friendly and know their stuff. A little tricky to find (use Google Maps!) but well worth the trip.

Ever thought about trying craft beer? I went to Hard Road Brewing and figured if the beer didn't work out, I'd just audition for a spot in a beer commercial. Cheers to decent brews and questionable life decisions!

This was a great stop on my trip to Melbourne. They had a great selection of beer. The staff was friendly and we had a great time playing trivia and bingo. A really fun place with a fun group of clientele.

What a hidden gem! Spewing I’ve wasted 6 years of my life not knowing about this place since they’ve opened in 2018. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff and owner - what more could you want! πŸ‘Œ

We had my wife's 40th here. It was such an awesome experience. The staff treated us like we had been there a thousand times, and everyone who came has made a point of commenting how much fun they had and how good the beer is.

Called in on a wim on Saturday afternoon , been before, bought friends. There Was a 30th birthday sign up. However didn't stipulate private function. So we went in, had eye contact with staff , but no communication if we were able to sit and have a drink. So we left. I still don't know if it was ok to walk in on a birthday. My point is perhaps have a sign out front if it is a function. No service or heads up so we left.

Apologies as I can't remember the name of the staff member but the bearded fella was absolutely a credit to the business. His knowledge and passion for his job was sensational and he went above and beyond in his service. Give this man a promotion asap!!! Great place , great people!

Really like the interesting artwork & fitout. Made us feel welcome. Only dropped in on our way home from walking part of the rail trail, really nice pale ale & a taste of bad boy IPA. Thumbs up for both. Highly recommended.

😐 Food tastes great πŸ‘ they sure love their spices and I like the kick of it. Fish and pork tacos were great but chorizo taco wasn't good because of the rubbery texture skin. It was unpleasant to eat. Corn chips were a bit stale and guacamole was bland. Service was okay. We gave the feedback to a sta...
