Mostly pretty good. Fast service and I like how they double-check a phone order to make sure there's no mistakes. Being a milk bar as well is a huge plus. Flake was huge, bigger than our dinner plates! We initially thought the chips serving size was a bit small, but these were very good chips. Mostly potato and not much batter. Very filling. When compared to getting more chips for the same price elsewhere, they're almost hollow. So the value was still there at this place. Two issues with the food: - Potato cakes were too thin. Basically little more than just batter. - Too much seasoning/hamburger helper in the patties. It's all I could taste - couldn't taste the meat itself.

The fried fish was delicious, onion rings were yummy too. Scallops were juicy as. Friendly owner.

After being away for years, coming back to fantastic fish 'n' chips is awesome. Were great then, still great now with friendly family owners. Great work guys. Do ya self a favour 🐟 🍟

Best Fish & Chips I have had for a long time. Generous serving of chips, large fresh Flake, huge potato cakes. Don't be fooled by the unconventional looking milk bar, the owner cooks F&C like a Greek!!

Great value for money, we got very large pieces of flake cooked perfectly and delicious chips that were so fluffy on the inside. Their onion rings were really tasty too. The owners were lovely and really helpful too, will definitely be back. I highly recommend them, well worth the short drive from Ferntree Gully 😊

Unfortunately they didn’t hit the mark with our dinner tonight. Chips and potato cakes very oily and over cooked. Tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed for a while. Grilld fish unfortunately went straight in the bin wasn’t comfortable feeding it to my daughter.

My local fish and chip shop, lovely people, delicious crispy batter on fish and chips not overcooked. I don't have fish and chips often but always good when I do

Ordered hot chips from these guys today for a group of high school kids we’re working with. Value for money, friendly service, we really were delighted with finding this local place, PLUS value for money!

I will argue without a doubt this is the best fish and chip shop in Melbourne, highly recommend phoning your order through as on the weekend it can take up to half an hour for the order but it is worth the wait. Highly recommended if you are passing through.

Nice service, lovely people, but.... damn the fish and chips is terrible. Actually inedible. Ordered grilled flake, scallops, and chips. The flake were crucified to the point of being stringy and chewy. The scallops were small and definitely not fresh. Everything cooked in oil that tasted filthy. Avoid
