So proudly say this is the No.1 Korean Restaurant I ever visit since I lived Melbourne 16 years now. As we all know everywhere gone up prices of menu in thses days and less food especially vegetables due to the recent global pandemic. But This Restaurant is so generous about food as well as quality of food is amazing. I ordered Daegu Tang. This is codfish Korean Traditional Jjigae Soup. How beautifully they use such fresh Vegetables like Minari and plenty of codfish. The choice of menus are soooooo many that Korean master chef Imonim can handle. You wouldn't regret your choice of food. If you are local or even outer suburbs Must, Must Must visit!!! This food is taste like you are in South Korea. I will definitely come back!

Magnificent food! Their beef bulgogi is wonderful and their soups are so tasty and comforting. I also love their spicy buckwheat (cold) noodles - the spice and the coldness compliment each other surprisingly well! The serving sizes are pretty big too. My belly is very satisfied :-)

Amazing Korean restaurant located conveniently on the Main Street, Croydon.. πŸ‘ Staff is excellent, humble, smiling, and welcoming... Ambience is good, not too fancy.. Food tasted flavoursome.. we tried Seafood & spring onion pancake (must try), spicy lamb soup with rice (it was boiling when served, and was delicious), original fried chicken with hot sauce (noice πŸ‘Œ)... I've heard their hotpots are good too.. will give it a try next time.. Overall good experience.. Thanks to the chef and the rest of the staff... Cheers..

Ordered take away at 7pm and told to picke up 20 mins later, happy that food was ready by the time we got there. Ordered 1/2 (8pieces) Galbi chicken, Seafood Pancake, and jjang noodle. The fried chicken definitely was well done but we got pieces with lots of bones that's a bummer. Pancake was also good. The one thing that could be done better is the noodle , maybe because it's takeaway the noodle was abit overcooked and hard to separate.. It might be better to mix the sauce to the noodle and pack in the same container. And very disappointed that no condiment given :(

Decided to have dinner with family here on a whim and was not disappointed in the slightest! Absolutely beautiful food, everything came out fast and tasted great! Workers were all very friendly and attentive as well. I really recommend the spicy ox bone soup especially, so much depth of flavour. I will definitely be coming back again soon!

Back here after a few years. Last time I didnt have a good experience, I remember I didnt like their fried chicken and a lamb soup was just so so. But in this visit we tried different things: veggie pancake, mandu soup, kimchi fried rice and I was impressed. Veggie pancake was beautiful. It was piping hot when it came out, and you can see big pieces of veggies in it, it tasted yummy too. This restaurant has so many pancakes choice, not just the usual kimchi or seafood. Then kim chi fried rice was nice, although I cant say I have had that many before to judge. I would say a portion of kimchi fried rice can feed 3 people as two of us couldnt finish it. The mandu soup was subtle in flavour, but it was nice and warming. It has beef pieces in them, actually cut quite thick, an egg and some carrots pieces. I usually dont like bland soup but this I would say mild taste than bland, I still really enjoyed it. Their side dishes are beautiful too. Enjoyed my dinner here tonight.

Loved this place! Best Beef Bulgogi I've ever had. Great Kim Chi condiments. Snowy Chicken was moist and had some great flavours that were new for me. Cod soup had the right spice, heat and seafood mix. Big compliments to the chef and friendly customer service. Can't wait to try more of the menu next time. Thank you!

Food is so delicious. Really busy when we arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday night, but quiet by the time we left around 9pm. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend the chicken gyoza and hot and spicy fried chicken.

Authentic and delicious. The dishes were all so hearty and bubbling away when served, perfect for the chilly night last night. The beef rib stew meat was so incredibly tender, and ginseng chicken soup was tasty with generous amount of ginseng to restore our energy. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Hancook Yori will definately be on our list to come back to regularly.

We enjoyed the most tasty Korean we’ve had in many years. Beautifully presented, tasty, authentic and lovely friendly staff! Croydon is lucky to have this gem of a restaurant! During the lockdown, we ordered takeaway from this restaurant countless times but dining for the first time made it all the more special.

Just what we needed for cold nights, nice soups. Great customer service, gave hot drinking water, topped up side dishes, waitresses friendly and attentive. The only thing to improve was to have the meals come out same time as my younger son already finished eating when my other son's noodle just arrived

Update: May 2023 Had yummy KBbq with amazing flavours. Tried their oxtail soup. Wow 🀩 Different type of BbQ as the meat was mixed with herbs and vegies in a special marinade. Quite tasty. The kimchi cake was good. Beef intestine stew was lovely. Young lady who served us was friendly and helpful. She cooked the BbQ for us. Side dishes went very well with the bbq. The taste differed from bigger bbq restaurants which mostly had plain meat. I am guessing this restaurant serves authentic Korean food as we walked to find two large tables of Koreans eating various dishes. We followed suit to check out the taste. Like it very much. Will be back.

We tried this place three times. On the whole the food here has been more than disappointing. The meat was smelly and we had to throw it away and the dishes we tried aren't very authentic. The quality of the meat they use is very poor however prices are high (soup is $23) and the staff aren't trained very well. As Koreans who are local to the area, we wanted this place to be good as it's the only Korean restaurant in Croydon, but the food is below standard, verging on inedible.

Always a go to restaurant for my partner and I. Casual but always fantastic food with efficient service. We especially like the beef bulgogi with rice, pop mandu and corn cheese. We've also had the Korean fried chicken and would recommend, particularly popcorn sized sweet and spicy. Worth making a booking in advance via the phone as it can get busy at times, but there's normally a table or booth free if you're walking in without.
