Okami, we have been here multiple times , food is always great! Service is always quick and polite, last night was slightly slow to start. But once it started it was no issue. We always tend to get the same with all you can eat. We took our kids there for the first time , as kids under 3 eat free.

Overall, our experience with the all-you-can-eat service at Okami Chirnside Park, was a pleasant one. The food, the service and the price were all fairly reasonable. There were a dozen of us celebrating our grandson’s birthday - we shared many of the dishes and were quite satisfied with how regularly empty dishes were replenished. And it was nice to see there was a reasonable vegetarian range offered. Do be aware the restaurant has a policy of “no splitting the bill”.

It’s always such a pleasure eating here. Haven’t had a chance to sit in but the takeaway is always excellent and the customer service is wonderful. From the minute someone answers the phone to eating the food, the entire experience is always 10/10. The food ordered tonight was so good and the service as always was so lovely. Thank you Okami team! -Anna

Wowzers! What an experience! Fantastic food that kept coming, excellent service from the friendly staff all for a decent price! Billy ‘butt chag’ triple, The Great Electric Spider, Liam M-W, J-Swizzle, Coen ‘Aharro’ Croft, BBN$, Mintoes and Adam Petard T’kalec all had an absolute blast. If I had to reccomend one item to the public it would definitely be the famous “Vege Gyoza.” Myself and co. will certainly be returning to this establishment many times in the future. Peace Out ✌️

Always very busy. Amazing allergies menu. Food comes out quick at first, then they seem to take their time. It is a bit loud in there. Maybe not great for young kids.

We went for the 5.30 booking “all you can eat” on a Saturday night. It was a busy night and apparently a shortage of staff but the food was absolutely incredible and fresh and quite fast for how busy they were. All staff were extremely polite and happy. I’m not a big eater but I ate more than my husband! My only gripe would be I didn’t try more on the menu 🤣! We’ll most definitely be back and thank goodness we’re local so can go back soon! Great value for money! 5 Stars for everything!

Fabulous place. Really fast and well priced. Will go back again. Hint .. don't order everything at once. Order a few plates then order a few more once eaten.

Yum and very accommodating if you have food allergies. Can't order sashimi on its own. And the menu is a tad small But the food comes VERY fast and the staff are all on it. Food is delicious. Kids also eat free

Went tonight and we had such a great time! The food is delicious, served quickly, very efficient restaurant. Highly recommend! Also good value for money.

Always a pleasant experience visiting Okami for dinner. Unbeatable value for an all you can eat establishment and the food is always fresh and tasty. Favourite dishes include the sushi and sashimi platter, beef carpaccio and miso steak among many others. The service is generally very good, with wait staff visiting the table frequently to see whether you would like to order more food. BYO wine with a corkage fee. If you visit regularly enough then make your bookings via the quandoo website online and get cash back on your booking after you've made a few visits.

Love going here but only thing that is a little annoying is it gets very loud when it's full.. but 10 out 10 recommended to eat out here

Food selected was brought out quickly and service was good. They are mindful of allergens and asked us straight away if anyone had any allergies which we appreciated. Place was quite busy which meant it was a little noisy but not too bad overall. 2 hour limit stay but food comes out quickly with plenty of time to continuously order and eat.

Great place we went for lunch and the service was A1 fast and super friendly. The food was bang on what I expected..... very tasty

I quite liked it. I went there with my family to celebrate a birthday and went for an all you can eat session. All of the food we had was superb. The service was quick and efficient. Despite one of our party having an aversion to a commonly used sushi ingredient, we did not test out their adaptability to changing meals to suit dietary restrictions. Only downside is a personal one. Too noisy.

Interesting concept. All you can eat for a set price ($36.80 pp) I think. Less for seniors. Good range of freshly cooked food. Prompt service. Licensed. Good value.

I did the all you can eat option with my boyfriend. The food was served quickly and tasted great. All staff were helpful and got food to us promptly. Always someone around to help when needed. Will be coming back

Our experience was really unpleasant from start to finish. Upon arrival, the lady who directed us to our table had an unsympathetic and unhelpful attitude, she did not take the time to explain that we could have an “all you can eat option”, we found this out in the end. My husband's chicken was cold and they almost threw the food on the table upon service, my order did not arrive at all, because the waitress failed to take our order completely, in general a disaster. When paying, the manager apologized to us and invited us to come back and the truth is that we wouldn't ever return to that lousy Japanese restaurant in Chirnside Park for a free meal.

Delicious food, great value. Can be quite loud and squashy so if you're going with elderly family or sensitive people keep that in mind.

I was very disappointed tonight on there opening night .. yes the food was great but the service was very poor , we waited over an hour for food ,then they keeped on bringing us food we didn’t order, then when we went to pay they couldn’t take cash as they didn’t have a float. What a joke … we will not be going back .. very disappointed

Entree was really good loved it. The problem was main course, the service became slower. We waited for 30 mins just for our fried rice and server were not even trying to check on us. The food were great but the service was not good.

Great food and excellent value. Made even better by attentive staff in a very busy restaurant. Highly recommended.

Was good but not as good as usual. Service was a bit slow and some food items seemed lower quality than normal. Still a good feed and a good time

Went with my wife who has been several times before. The food was absolutely amazing, well portioned and delicious. They are all you can eat with no buffet, so you just keep on ordering small dishes as you like. I was particularly impressed by how well they handled allergies, although they acknowledge that given the food they serve there is always a risk of cross contamination, upon being seated we were asked about allergies. On hearing that there was one they brought out a booklet explaining the risks and included a list of all the items on their menu and if they contained an allergen. Overall happy to recommend and look forward to going again.

My expectations weren’t great as it’s an all you can eat concept but I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The food was average at best. Chicken Karaage was just dry shrivelled crispy chicken pieces served with about a teaspoon of mayonnaise and the chicken curry was pretty much the same dish but with what was like a packet quality (golden curry etc) sauce drizzled over it. I was hoping to enjoy this dish with steamed rice but the rice we ordered never arrived . Cold soba noodles were ho hum and the seaweed salad was decent. Seafood tempura was reasonable and the chicken Katsu basically an over cooked thigh schnitzel drizzled in a fairly generic sauce. The potato croquettes were however very good but as the first dish it all went south from there. The beef dish was quite tasty but very fatty. Although we could have just kept eating for the sake of eating there is only so much fried food and stodge a person can eat. I only drank water and my wife had a glass of her BYO non alcoholic wine that cost $10 for corkage , outrageous. There was no mention of a $10 corkage charge when she asked for a glass…. Looking at all the 5 star reviews this place gets I’m questioning how often some people dine out, $83 without alcohol and average cuisine doesn’t represent great value…. It’s not a buffet / smorgasbord deal , the serves are tapas size and come out randomly in no particular order. Certainly won’t be rushing back in a hurry, best suited to people who aren’t fussy who would like to scoff down as much as possible in a sitting.

Food was fresh and came out quickly. Restaurant was packed while we were there and the staff were struggling to keep up. I think the experience would be alot better on a quiet night. Overall though a good experience. Don't be put off by the outward presentation of the restaurant.

First time here tonight Food excellent just so much to choose from and I guarantee you will not come away hungry .. staff and service excellent . Thank you for a great night... I think though the $10 corkage is very extreme . Definitely too high....

Always great atmosphere, prompt service, and delicious food. Last night saw a group of strangers come together and sing happy birthday to an overwhelmed birthday girl! In kindness, we were offered birthday cake and the family and friends of the birthday girl were so appreciative. That's what Australia is all about; differing cultures, multiple nationalities, ages and genders eating Japanese food, helping to celebrant a stranger's birthday. Bon appetite!
