This is a must see even if you don't ride. This carousel is stunning. Every character has fantastic detail and you don't see most of these on any 'regular' carousel in the U.S. A hawk and snowy owl, each in flight. A sea turtle. Lobstahs, a spouting whale, squirrels, foxes. Absolutely stunning. Take the walk, watch the smooth movement and the smiles on the faces. Worth the time.

I've visited several times in the last couple of years and I have always enjoyed the walk, especially at night 🌃 with the lights. Well kept gardens, the huge water fountain that kids play in, the carousel 🎠 that I so want my kids to ride, the spacious lawns and what I enjoy most, other than parking 🅿️, it's free 🆓!! Well, yes, taxes pay for it, of course. I don't see 🙈$ going to waste for such a beautiful place. If you can, stop by and check it out. If it's a hot 🥵 summer's day and you have kids, bring their swimsuits and play ▶️ in the fountain. If you can visit at night, I highly recommend it. Thanks 🙏 to the Boston/Massachusetts tax payers for this park!

A true Boston treasure. I would argue that aside from the Red Sox, it is the BEST summer attraction for kids. Have them wear a bathing suit and hike it end to end visiting all the water parks along the way. Ride the carousel, eat at the food trucks, take in all the beautiful art and horticulture. A close walk to the Children's Museum, Aquarium or Faneul Hall and waterfront.

The place is an oasis in the city. Many segments were decorated with interesting art. Some segments have beautiful flowers. Some segments also have chairs for people to sit down to relax. A very nice space in the middle of a busy city.

An amazing artery of green space that ties the once disparate North End neighborhood into the rest of the city. It's great seeing how the Greenway serves as a place to relax as well as a way to walk between major tourist areas. The landscaping and breadth of activities and installations is impressive as well, especially considering how it's essentially a glorified air cleaning project. Especially nice and quiet in the morning!

Frog pond was closed for the day so we brought the kids here to cool off. What a beautiful spot and there are plenty of places to grab something to go and eat under some umbrellas. There are tables but we opted for the shade of a tree on the lawn.

Enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the Rose Kennedy Greenway during a short visit to Boston in early May 2023. There was light rain and an overcast during my visit to this well maintained urban green space. It has walking paths and seating areas.

What a beautifully vibrant and clean park. First time visiting Boston and I found this to be a little sanctuary in the early morning with my fresh green juice from The Juicery. Definitely will be back!

This place is like a little Oasis in Boston! You can still hear the cats go by but the grass is so green and the people and families are so nice and happy. It seems like a totally separate place from the fast paced and usually a bit in-your-face, city of Boston. It's a nice place to sit down and relax if you are visiting

Beautiful scenery year round, kept clean and if you visit while it's nice out expect it to get busy during the day. Good spot to smoke too if you're a ston-ahhh! 🤣😎🤙🏽

Common experience observing owners/ parents of dogs that do not pick up after their pets. It's disgusting other than that the greenway is beautiful and peaceful but if I wanted to sit on the grass, beware.

Great place to stop and swing or play in the grass. Beautiful gardens and always a fun mix of locals and tourists whenever the sun is shining. The Greenway is also a great way to get your bearings in the city knowing north station and south station are on respective ends 👍

amazing that an ugly, rusty highway that divided the city When I lived there 20 years ago, has been buried underground, and above the tunnel is now a broad, green and colorful Garden/Park, for all to enjoy.

I pass through here while on my way to the Laundromat so, it's my favorite little stop. The water that is constantly running is really relaxing and to see the people in the summer utilize it on a hot day is breathtaking. There are swings to relax along with a place to sit and enjoy a bite to eat from any location from the north end to the public market. Don't skip out on something as breathtaking as this garden and walkway

Great place to spend lunchtime or the whole day the gardens are beautiful!!!!!!it so nice to see bunny rabbits running around the gardens the middle of Boston and wat a surprise a bird of prey peregrine falcon eating lunch (pigeon) in the northern Greenway he kept on eating as people strolled by

Much better than when I-93 was passing overhead. Well worth every penny of $14.7 billion dollars, of somebody else's money, that was spent on it. It is now an active community space with trees, chairs, tables, fountains and very nice for general hanging out and relaxing.
