Been living in the area for several decades and September 2023 was the first time I came across Titus Sparrow Park in Boston. I was walking via Rutland Street from Flour Bakery to the Prudential Center. Nice shade from the many trees, plenty of benches, and a children's playground. Park is a great place to rest.

Currently under renovation. local park in my neighborhood. Can be a great spot to be alone. Super views of the skyline. Relax on the benches or on the grass. A nice spot to listen to music when there is live music. Be careful when stepping in the grass !

Lots of little areas to sit and enjoy. They have a presentation area and a very nice playground. Basketball courts and green space surround the area.

The little ones can enjoy the fountains or have a beautiful location above their ears, with a wonderful view of the city skyline. (Original) Espazio luze berde eta publiko ederra! A wonderful oasis of trees, flowers, mini gardens and outdoor art works in downtown Boston right next to South Station. This is a beautiful respite for the weary bus and train travelers with a stop-over in Boston, visitors to the Boston Harbor area and all the hard-working people in the downtown district. The Greenway Park meanders from South Station to the Aquarium and the North End. It is intricately designed so that many mini gardens open up within the park. Outdoor sculptures and murals add an exciting touch to the many unique areas marked by blocks of granite, stone steps or mini plazas. Truly a gem and a beautiful addition to the Boston Harbor neighborhood.

Modern sculptures, organic horticulture, and beautiful foliage in downtown Boston - what's not to like? Well, the traffic - if you walk through at rush hour, it's a headache - honking and sirens, the air acrid with car exhaust. But if you visit early-EARLY in the morning during spring or fall bird migration, the RK Greenway is a little big magical. The gently curving design of the park must resemble a river from the air, because it reliably attracts birds usually seen near rivers or willows: yellow-bellied sapsucker, Lincoln's sparrow, swamp sparrow, and Northern waterthrush. It's also a magnet for migrating hermit thrush, ovenbird, and common yellowthroat. Every now and then, a yellow-breasted chat ends up here as well. Beware the lunch rush during the work week; it's a great time to buy some pork and scallion dumplings, but not a great time to see birds in this lovely little urban greenspace. For the non-birders, there's a beer garden, a weekly farmer's market, food trucks of course, and reliably great food in Chinatown (Dumpling Cafe! Suishaya! Shojo!) within easy walking distance.

Cute park for kids and dogs! Not a spot to take your dog to go potty but nice hangout spot where you have some open space to bring a picnic blanket to sit on and lots of benches through the park as well. Mostly very clean and safe park in a great location!

In the former shadow of the elevated highway now grows this modern classic tradition of public green space. Take a swing, pull up a chair, walk along the paths, a true gem.

Lovely park. I live nearby and always come here on a nice day to enjoy the outdoors. There's a nice playground, and public basketball and tennis courts are available. Plenty of open green space for playing with kids or dogs, lots of benches and seating. Also, the hill here is pretty good for sledding.

Truly Boston's melting pot! All ages, all races, all religions, all socioeconomic backgrounds all mixing it up, whether it's enjoying the playground, the tennis courts or the basketball court. Yoga in the field some days. Plus great urban people-watching: joggers, dog walkers, people just walking to/from the nearby subway/train stations. Four stars because they could do WAY more with the playground space!

I love going to this Greenway. It’s centrally located for a good time: To one side is the North End (Little Italy) and to the other side Boston Public Market and Union Oyster House. You’re also less than a half-mile from the Wharf and Aquarium. This greenway is great for: kids, families, friends, couples and if you’re doing a meetup group. They have splash zones for the kids, and you’ll see students and picnickers everyday. The Views: The trees and flowers are well kept and beautiful. It has a nice view of the old historical parts of Boston as well as the skyline. The park is safe from 7am till 9pm. I haven’t visited outside those hours so I can’t make any claims. But generally speaking it’s well-lit and there are plenty of people including park maintenance and police/rangers.

Wonderful linear park that unites many parts of the city, from the North End to Chinatown. Temporary art installations and murals complement the landscaping and garden elements. A few older shade trees would be nice....but that is a work in progress. Worth a stroll from end to end. And don't miss a frolic in the Rings Fountain and a ride on the carousel featuring all the native species!

Didn't get to explore and relish it fully. But I did enjoy the current art installation near South Station and the edge of Chinatown. On 9/13/2017 the art installation was a big 3-D printer that made red roosters. One per customer, please, says the sign. I didn't get one, however, as it takes about 2.5 hours to print the rooster, and someone was already awaiting the finish-and-drop of a red rooster each time I went past.

This park is beautiful and not as noisy as I thought. It has a carousel and water fountain which you can run under in the summer. The traffic lights are very fast and responsive. Lots of beautiful trees and bushes. This park is a great way to get from place to place in downtown Boston.

Really amazing green space, made from the worst of late 20th century urban development (it's the roof of a tunnel for car traffic.) Great place to take a walk in the summer. Lots of plants, art and spaces to sit down quietly. Worth a stop on any good weather trip to Boston.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the greenway finished. You can legit walk from the Haymarket station to South station safely. Whoever designed this definitely did an excellent job. Outside of Haymarket station is the start of the greenway where you will find the area where there are tables and they are covered so in the summer your kids can play in the water (there are small water jets that squirt from the ground) and you can drink your coffee and snack on your cannoli from a bakery in the north end. Walk all the way through on the path surrounded by beautiful shrubs trees and flowers. When you reach south station, if its Tuesday or Thursday you can shop at the farmers market. Highly recommend.

We love Titus Sparrow park, it is a small neighborhood park adjacent to the nice South end corridor (bike/walking path). It is always full of life with families, little ones or furry ones. There are basketball and tennis courts available that are usually busy with locals. There are regular/recurring neighborhood events like concerts in the summer time, etc.

Really spacious park compared to many in the area. There is a reasonably sized field to play sports on, fun climbing structures for young kids, weekly concerts in the Summer, a tennis court and basketball court. Hill for sledding in the Winter. Our kids love when we go there. Well kept. Folks in the area take pride in making it nice. Thank you!!
