I went here for a day program twice. Most of the staff are extremely unhelpful and the program is designed to make you think about your problems without actually working on them. The patients were nice and helpful but helpful peer to peer discussions were often shut down. They are very good at working with school but not much else. For people looking to actually find help, I would recommend the day program at Bournewood hospital

5 some odd nurse practices complain they will tell u go see your primary care for meds , Stigma? Harm Reduction? Dph,where r u? 3 people found dead in their hospitals due to lack of staff members, meet the 6th pnp, she wants to know why r u being confrontational, as their calling the cops on the patient in the waiting room cause they can't meet everybody's needs like omg how dare u want to see a professional prescriber, where do u think u are a mental health facility? Since we put u on the drugs it's not really problem omg, that's the response. Nice? Will not admit accountability, need my family's lawyers number u know where to find me , when are pple going to get strong stick together time to occupy,Hello? Anyone? Oh I forgot!!! We need our psych meds,my bad

I've been taking my son here for several years and have had a very good experience. His social worker, David W., is excellent. They are always caring and helpful at Arbour.

I hope that eveyone is trying their best but the front desk staff is routinely short and curt (not quite rude, but you're definitely a nuisance). My therapist was fine, did the trick. The NP in charge of all prescriptions etc, is CONTINUALLY running behind on appointments. I waited 4 hours and she ended up never seeing me before they closed.

Overall the service I have gotten was okay but lately iv been having problems rescheduling with my therapist because she doesnt have an office and can only come for her scheduled appointments so iv been transferred to a different therapist voicemail to leave a message because she doesnt have an office being told she will call me back from the front desk and she hasnt its been 2 weeks aside from that iv asked the front desk multiple times to relay the message to have her call me back and they refuse and keep insisting to transfer me knowing its not going through fire the front desk person.

The staff annoyed the hell out of me but my Clinician Maggie was extremely nice even though I only had her for my first visit, she was still extremely supportive! I forget the name of my second clinician but she was nice too. Shes the one who got me on anti-depressants when I needed them. My in home therapist (from arbor) that I had for about three years (Helen) was the best she made me exited about therapy and actually made me feel comfortable to talk about my problems, she visited me at my out-patiant, and provided me with a mentor. Over all this place is nice : ]

Came here September 2014 for partial hospitalization. All the staff we dealt with were on unpaid internships. It was 1 hour therapy, 1 hour schoolwork, 1 hour recreation, maybe another hour of therapy activities. I felt like we were there just to pass the time because we weren't considered stable enough to go back to school. They made us write gratitude lists and then we'd get treats in the end. That was nice. It just felt very routine. Didn't talk much to the other patients. We were all directed to talk under the supervision of the counselors. When you left they do a graduation which I think is sort of fake and awkward. It was a bit dull I would say. We were just there to pass the time.

Sometimes the front desk can be difficult, but I donโ€™t have to deal with them all that often. My actual therapist is amazing. Iโ€™ve been seeing her for about four years now and I am so fortunate to be working with her. She is super dedicated and really cares. She is also well trained and very competent. I trust her and I think sheโ€™s an amazing therapist. I also saw a couples counselor for a short time at Arbour Allston and felt the same way about her - I thought she was incredibly competent and also just a genuinely good human who cared about the service she was providing and the outcome of the treatment. In my experience, itโ€™s also easier to find a therapist here than other places because they have more therapists on staff. Many other places there are very long waitlists which can be very frustrating and detrimental to your health if youโ€™re in a crisis.

Great services. Iโ€™ve had them since I was little boy. Iโ€™m now in my 30โ€™s and services and treatment are still great. Thanks to CODVID-19, the service has changed. However, Arbor will forever be my place of mental health services!

๐Ÿ˜  I've been a patient for 22 years. Back then Fenway was a lifeline and a beacon for those of us in the LGBTQ community. They had a 5star staff and the doctors were incredible. But today it is so bad I sometimes question the competence of those treating me. I will say that my doctor there now is a...

๐Ÿ˜  I went here as a child on a locked ward many years ago. I wasn't allowed to see my family for 6 months. I had to earn that right.
