Its a great resturant. Used up the whole space and the management is really great, artistic i have to say. The view from inside the restaurant is great and the located area is super good. The flow of river and quite warm place makes your heart calm and the food is not bad either. Talking about the place itself the architecture and the lighting is awesome. The price however is somewhat expensive but i guess that is how the city is. Moreover, my personal experience the waiter was not very customer oriented. I believe i might have asked them and they felt annoyed but it was not repeated. I was so hungy that i asked him twice if the food is ready the response was not very positive. “Its not street food that arrive fast” his words. I understand it takes time but maybe offering something would have been a better solution. Other than that loved everything. If you are going to visit this restaurant and want a full stomach make sure to order extra rice or any items because the quantity served only in menu will not be enough for you. Great place

The food and atmosphere at the place is really good. There are a lot of options to go for and the staff is also helpful in ensuring you make a good decision while chosing and combining dishes. I started with the Onion Bhaji which was tastful and not fat at all even though it's a deepfried dish. The Pui Tandori was nice as well, and the portion was also large enough. I paired this with the spicy potatoes, which were a bit more spicy then expected but a nice touch to the meal. I recommend getting some Naan to counteract all the spices which might be a bit heavy. Would certainly visit again when I get the chance.

I come here or order from them quite often, it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Cluj and the best one for Indian food. The staff is super polite and friendly, they also explain to you the things on the menu if you need. I tried a lot of their curries and other goodies. They also have the spiciest curry I ever tasted - Vindaloo, yet it’s very tasty. They have options for vegetarians too. The prices are very good and the food quality is exceptional. I totally recommend this place.

It's rarely that you find a restaurant that truly impresses. This one did. Lovely place, super clean, great staff. The food was excellent, ask the staff for suggestions if you are not familiar with Indian food (we weren't). The only small minus is that it was a bit warm inside. Other than that one of the easiest 5* I've ever given. Highly recommend!

It was my first time trying Indian food and it was pretty good. The restaurant stuff is very friendly and polite. It was on a pretty full evening and it took a while until they took the order but to make up for it they brought us a dessert for free. Not sure if it's always so busy and things take so long. The food car great and the dishes marked as spicy weren't as spicy as I expected to be. I could actually eat them 😅 If you ever thought of trying Indian food this is the right place to start 😁

Very good food, tasty and ideal portions and also the lemonade was very good. Prices are very good also. Waiters are very kind and the atmosphere is pleasant.

First time visit and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is very nice and the food is great. The classic tikka masala tasted 10/10, as did all the other things we ordered. Will be going back for sure.

Very friendly place, music according to the restaurant theme, food absolutely delicious but with one mention, because I'm a home cook myself, the chicken in butter chicken should be completely defrosted before cooking because if not it has a strange texture. But I recommend you guys, I felt very well at Gandhi.

The food was great. This is my third visit and I was not disappointed. The service is great, they took our order very fast and we didn't have to wait a lot until our meal was ready. The restaurants looks great inside , it is very cozy and all the staff were polite and smiling. I recommend the mango chicken with coconut rice.

Amazing food, everything was great: appetizers, the curry and the dessert (chocolate Naan and perfect pear in the picture). Perfect way to spend and celebrate a birthday with good friends 💗

Very good indian food, maybe the best in Cluj-Napoca. We had Vindaloo with chicken (really spicy), Peli Peli chicken (medium spicy), Pilau rice, garlic and cheese Naan and Masala chips. If you do not like spicy food, I do not recommend Vindaloo (like in the menu) as it's really really hot, but an advantage is you can order the food with the amount or spiciness you want. One of the main reasons I like eating here (It's a regular place for me) it's the balance of the ingredients and the size of the portions. Also, the Masala chips are pretty good.

Excellent place to eat. I highly recommend it for Indian food. Very tasty and the right amount of spice. Was very pleased with everything we ordered. The staff is very friendly and the orders came out quickly. The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere.

If you are in or around Cluj, and looking for a good Indian Food then hop into Gandhi, very close by and in walking distance. Tasty Food with great service and good ambience.

I've avoided this place after a previous experience from when they first opened but I said I should try it again and I am glad I did. The food was delicious, there was a great variety and the location is very pretty. Although it did not surpass Indigo, it is now a veritable rival.

The food is fantastic. I had the spinach soup and lamb curry and it blew my mind. The place is quiet and cozy and it smells like condiments.

Went there for a quick snack, but we enjoyed it a lot! 👌🏻 First of all the place is very beautifully arranged. Cozy, quiet with nice music. Our waiter was actually indian 😁, or we thought so, and he was very polite and friendly. We'll be back for sure. ☺️

We had the weekly lunch menu, which allows you to pick one starter (2 options) and one main dish (3 options) for a very affordable price. They always offer vegan and spicy options. I also tried the lassi, which tastes very good and refreshing. I found the food tasty, the waiter was very polite and the service surprisingly fast. The location is also nice, on a main boulevard next to the river, and the restaurant has a pleasant design. I recommend Gandhi if you want to have a nice experience trying out Indian food.

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Indian food. I ordered the Korma with Vegetables. The sauce tasted like one of the instant sauces that you buy at Carrefour and the veggies were frozen (the ready ones: peas, broccoli and carrot). It only gets one star because of the Mango Lassi.

We ordered Onion Bhadji and several Biryani dishes but we were very dissapointed. If you ate Indian food in India or other countries you can feel the difference. The place is nice, comfy but the food is not proper Indian food.

Tasty food and very good service, in a nice ambiance. It's not quite the Indian taste but I guess they had to adapt it. Didn't like that the front door was opened and we could hear all the busy street noise.

Indian food is on another level in general, but this place takes it to a whole new level for sure! Awesome one to bring your wondering friends, they will fall in love with indian cuisine, that's guaranteed! Cannot help but recommend it!

A nice cozy indian restaurnat. They have a lot of deljcious food, spicy or not. The spicy is acceptable for people that cannot eat very spicy- the hipertasters-look it up :p. The food is delicious and this is comming from a fan of home gourme cooking. The staff is polite and they seem they enjoy what they do, witch makes you feel welcomed.

Very good food here and also pretty good value (under €90 for 3 of us and this included the most expensive bottle of local white wine). Sadly, no English langauge menu here, but the Tandoori platter, which we shared, was huge and tasty. We also had a Madras Curry as a main course, together with plenty of rice and naan bread. The service was a bit slow, but this was probably a function of the sole waiter trying to also service our first floor table. Unanimous view that we would go there again without hesitation.

I had to edit my review because I went back a second time. I have to be honest, the first time the food was better. This time it lacked some depth that you normally get in those beautiful dishes. I had chicken mango and although it was really delicious it lacked some cohesion. As if there was not enough time to let all the flavours come together. My husband had vindaloo. And again : the spices were there but those subtle flavours beside the hotness were missing. To end I had banana Lassi and that was very, very good. I absolutely recommend this place because the food is definitely tasty and for a very good price too. The staff is professional and polite.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been too (even ones in India). Incredible flavors and the service was phenomenal!! They even went out to buy more limes for our mojitos when they ran out. A must try when in Cluj
