THE HOST Simon and his wife are the warmest and most joyful people you've aver meet. They have welcomed us with a choice of drinks. Being first time in Sighisoara, Simon was kind to give us a printed map and a programs for the local happenings (we were visiting Sigisoara for the Medieval Festival). THE PLACE Bertha House is a medieval experience on its own. As I said, we have visited Sighisoara for the festival, and staying on this property made everything so authentic. The house has a antiquity shop at the ground floor with beautiful furniture and decoration peaces. We have wandered some time there and, the best part that you can stay on that beautiful chairs, while having a drink or your breakfast. About the breakfast, the china, glasses and the silverware is antique as well. I have drunk my tea in a beautiful English porcelain. THE ROOM We have staid in room nr4. Clean, comfortable, with beautiful design in medieval style with lots of thoughtful touches. The furniture is antique from Simon's collection, which is pretty special. The bathroom is spacious and with a beautiful design, featuring a big clowfoot tub to be enjoyed. :)

Step into the 17th century where you are welcomed with love, the breakfast is mostly homemade food which offers you a taste that you will not find in the market. It is also an antique store with a wide variation of merchendise from pottery to silverware. You will not regret staying here. And let us not forget the hosts, their hearts are as wide as the ocean.

It was beyond our imagination, a wonderful environment with beautiful rooms and perfect service. The hosts were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. We hope we can visit Casa Bertha again.

Marvelous place with, Incredible service and hosts. Cleaninges was there trademarks from the leaving rooms , to serving areas and bathrooms. Large bathroom, impeccable and spacious. Vintage objects, well groomed. Again, incredible hosts.

Very kind hosts! They went out of their way to make things as comfortable as possible in pandemic conditions! The house is gorgeous, great furniture! The location is right in the middle of the old city. Everything is at its best!

It was the most amazing place I've ever been. We stayed in room nr 4 (Breasla Tamplarilor) and you can see the room in the photos attached. The room was very clean, spacious with a king-sized bed and beautifully decorated. You can see the patio from the window, where you can have breakfast, or you can have a talk, of course keeping a low voice, not to disturb the other guests. The breakfast was handmade by the owners and it was awesome. At the ground level there is an antique shop with loads of goodies which I recommand you to visit at least. There is no parking in the citadel, but there is a city parking quite close. Big thumbs up for the owners. There would be much to say, but I don't want to spoil the experience. We will come back to Casa Bertha in the future.

Our home away from home! Our hosts treated us like family, and were so generous to us that we almost felt bad! The accommodations were comfortable and pleasant, but the real highlight was how we were treated by the owners.

From the moment we got there, Simon and his lovely wife were absolutely amazing. The hotel is beautiful, clean, refurbished and right next to the famous square. They make an excellent breakfast every morning when you come down with all kinds of delicious yummies. I am so looking forward to the next time we get to come and visit this beautiful little town.
