Amazing steak house! The best steak I have eaten so far in Romenia. Tip: this is a steak house so do not expect much out of the pasta and such. The lamb carpaccio was very interesting, but was missing more balsamic vinegar. All in all - a place to come back to.

The atmosphere is very nice and it is in a beautiful location period the steaks were decent cut of me but none of them came out correctly cooked. The good news is they were all undercooked in so they could be reheated but for the prices in this restaurant you would expect them to know the difference between rare and medium. Having said that everyone was nice the meal was good and I would still recommend it

The people coming to this restaurant have clearly never been to a real steak house. The meat is mideocre at best. I could get a better steak at the local grocery store back in my hometown of Chicago. It was fairly tough and only seasoned with salt. I've been to Uruguay, where my steak was supposedly from, and what I got wouldn't even be served at the cheapest restaurant in Montevideo. On top of the bad steak, they served my wife a "turkey steak" that was actually a chicken breast. I get that this is probably a translation error, so I will give them a pass on that. Despite the bad entrees, the appetizers were decent enough. We had eggplant rolls with goat cheese, which are probably the best thing we have had so far in Romania. We also had a lovely salad with feta and avocado. Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is also extremely nice. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately the entrees were so bad that I couldn't help but write this review. I wasn't expecting USA or Argentinian prime beef, but I was certainly hoping for something to justify the $60 USD we spent on dinner. YMMV.

I would rate the food 3.5 stars but the service was what can I say “bare minimum”. when we were making the reservation they told us there was only one 7pm table available NOT 7.30. When we arrived at the place it was empty. Two table upstairs and 1 downstairs occupied. We ordered steak and pasta. Then I can’t believe I had to ask for a steak knife and waited for the waiter prepared and served coffee for another table then brought my knife. (It’s a steak house for crying out loud steak knife should be on the table) They also charge 9ron for pepper sauce maybe this is normal in Romania. But we were happy with the normal portion size (big portions in many restaurants) and the food was well prepared. Overall the service let the whole experience down. Our waiter if you are reading this you know why we left you very little tips.

With its minimalistic, yet elegant aesthetic, Keller is a place to enjoy a palatable meal (not necessary a steak, but it will be a loss not to try while traveling in Brasov Old Town) with friends and family and hear each other. Lucky enough, Ramona guided us, being a warming and delightful host, not just a random waiter. Between many laughs, she offered useful recommendations from the menu. After some tasty warm-up starters, we ended up choosing a delicious T-bone and a juicy Tomahawk (my personal fav), paired with a full-bodied Romanian red wine. If you believe there is any room left for desserts, you should try theirs.

It's been a while since I felt so good at a restaurant, the moment you step into the restaurant you get a sense of peacefulness, the staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best meals I’ve had.

However on a second visit, I noticed quality of thw terrine changed, was far dryer and less tasty than the initial one we had, though the quantity seemed to have doubled, which is quite a big portion. The meat stayed excellent, a bit overcooked. I asked for medium rare, was delivered barely medium. Yet, the meat was tasty, though I would have enjoyed it more cooked my way. The wine selection is still great. The service could improve in friendliness and attention. Still, a place I would return for a third time to compare the experiences.
