We visited 6-7 times in our 2 months in Brasov - always food was top and very tasty, also good friendly service. They have a limited daily menu with around 6-8 main dishes, and also 1-2 soups ( having an extra 2-3 in the normal menu ). We recommend the tomato soup with grilled cheese, pasta with truffles and beef and the beef burger! But everything we got was always tasty. Try to make a reservation if you are 2+, also doga allowed! Their glue wine is also delicious if you visit in the winter and can be grabbed to go.

My place to go for dinner or breakfast every time I am visiting Brasov. The food is great, friendly service, you just taste the fresh ingredients. The interior design of the restaurant is also nice and creates a good atmosphere to dine in. Good job to the Chef and the team! You are my place to go in Brasov.

Excellent nice Frenchy bistro. Food was excellent, same as the service and atmosphere. Live music is a plus. Definitely recommended in the old town of Brasov, a few steps from Piata Sfatului on a nice quaint street. Tried the French onion soup, truffle pasta with beef sirloin and chocolate gombot. All veeery good. :)

Creativity & quality I wanted to eat here for quite some time and I booked a table a week before my visit to Brasov. The restaurant is small and cozy and it gives you a familiarity feeling once inside. The personnel is nice, relaxed and smiling and they offered assistance in choosing the dishes. They offer a standard menu and a menu of the day. We opted for dishes from both menus and we were very happy with choices. What I liked most was the creativity in mixing the ingredients, which gave a special savor to the final dish. It was a re-invented Romanian food experience. It is rare for me to eat in a restaurant and discover that the dishes have got all they need, there’s nothing missing. In Bistro del Arte I found a very balanced food, very well cooked and with quality ingredients. Booking needs to be done in advance. Great job!

4.4 stars ;-). Very nice Location, no free table outside and a bit warm inside. Service in the beginning was very good but during our stay we had to wait to place our orders and became thirsty. Food was good/very good. Salad with chicken ok (but meat was really dry), chicken with polenta very good. Desserts chocolate cake and sweet were noodles very good. So a honest feedback: clear recommendation for a visit and some room for improvement for the service.

If you want to try something different, go with the tomato soup. The cheese salad is the queen of the menu and the beef pasta is adding a plus of taste. However, the service would benefit from a customer focused training. Prices are on the high side.

Professional, efficient and friendly staff. The Romanian food is served in generous portions at an affordable price. The wine selection is also nice, with specific Romanian wines served by the glass. Highly recommended!

Delicious food (pasta with salmon, pasta with beef = super tasty!), lovely atmosphere, great service, friendly & helpfull staff, live music on the piano during evenings. I highly recommend the restaurant. We will return here for sure.

Brasov has few places where you can eat very well and Bistro de l'Arte is one of them. Nice atmosphere in one of the old buildings of George Enescu square, good service. And great taste food. We ate one of their burgers and onion soup. The deserts are also fantastic. We recommend this place for one or two stops when in Brasov. And don t forget to reserve your place there, it can be full since it is famous.

We had a lovely experience here. We ordered the beef with pappardelle and the chicken with mashed potatoes. Both plates were amazing. The service also was very good, explanatory and polite. It’s definitely recommended, we will try to come again!

Bistro de l'Arte offers a very enjoyable dining experience, with an ever changing menu. Food is sometimes complex, sometimes refreshingly simple and always full of flavour. Service is top notch. A weak point would be the rarity of vegetarian, not to mention vegan, options - better check the menu ahead of time or ask.

This cozy restaurant is located in the center of Brasov, hidden in the streets. We found it by accident and did not lose! It was a wonderful experience. We ordered onion soup and penne beef. It was delicious. Good, friendly service. Cool, not crowded location. Large selection of wines. Prices are above average. Cocktails are quite expensive (38-50lei). An interesting point is that every day the restaurant has a different menu.

Incredible food & service- highly highly recommend if you’re after a solid Romanian feed. Only small downside was the Bloody Mary which was quite watery and barely had any tomato juice so all I could taste was vodka, but the waitress was very accomodating when I asked for some more tomato juice which made it a lot better.

The food was amazing! Very tasty and also very creative (some very tasty combinations). We tried the ocotpus, pasta with beef and truffle and some soups. Also desserts are very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Totally recommand.

Best place I have ever been to! ❤️ It’s more than just food, it’s an amazing experience. We love coming back to Bistro everytime. They have a small meniu and a daily menu, you can check online what they have for today. It’s better to make a reservation before getting there, as the place is pretty famous and could be fully booked. Best food, friendly staff and atmosphere! They also have a piano and if you are lucky you can hear a musician playing it. ✨ There’s nothing I would suggest. It’s perfect for me!

We wanted to come here for a long time, so took a pit stop on a longer route. The menu is very diverse, daily one plus regular one. We choose a turkey tomato soup, a duck leg, the snails and the pancake with plum sauce, plus drinks. The service was polite and effective, soup came in 2 minutes, drinks also very fast. The mains also came quickly and were very good. Prices are a bit above medium for food, very good for drinks, but overall worth it as experience.

We spent three days in Brasov and in all three we ate here. The food is amazing and it is definitely worth a trip here. Fair prices. Book in advance especially for evenings or weekend days. Check out their daily menu as well. Full of tasty surprises.

Great food and service. Not so expensive for all we ate. Started with mulled WINE. First course, Roasted bell pepper soup & fermented sheep cheese, tomato soup gratin with emmentaler, kefir & celery. Second course, beef ragu with eggs, vegetables and mushrooms, chicken liver with carrot, beet, onion and potato puree. And for desert Gomboți.

Local cuisine with a twist! Ingenious flavor combinations. Great food made of quality local ingredients, good service, same good quality every day, artwork to enjoy and on sale, small events. A must if visiting Brasov.

tasty Art in the plate :) 🍽️ Pasta with capture salmon was delicate and super tasty. The boiled papanasi were not as legendary but it's just a matter of ,taste,- they followed a different recipe probably. All in all, a wonderful experience.

A special restaurant in Brasov, focused on Transylvanian cuisine. We have been coming here for many years and we really appreciate their dedication to authentic Romanian cuisine, sometimes with a twist. And sometimes, it’s just like grandma’s food but better. Our first stop in Brasov always!

The cocktails were amazing. Mine were pretty sweet but that's what I like. My party had other drinks and everyone was happy with their choices. I would say this place is more upscale and you can tell. There is also live piano music. And there's a variety of paintings available to buy, and in the middle there's a jewelry section with handcrafted jewelry. Just make sure to bring cash to purchase the jewelry and the art. The vibe of the place is lovely; jazzy and romantic. Great place for a special date.

In a week we went to this restaurant three times and it was honestly so good every single time. Exceptional soups, both traditional and international cuisine dishes with a creative twist. Not as heavy as purely traditional dishes. Not overpriced. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Note: it is full close to always (for a good reason) so it is always better to call and book in advance

It's a cute restaurant with nice interior, super friendly staff and amazing food. It's a nice fusion of traditional Romanian food and other cuisines. We were really surprised at the end how little money we spend.
