Had my first meal at Sergiana at the old town. It's was not too bad. Decided to have another meal at the Sergiana at the shopping mall. It was a bit disappointing due to 1. Being new to the country, we did not know whether will we be served to the table or just find a table ourselves. We waited at the entrance for a long time despite there were several staff. In the end we went to the table ourselves as it may be the culture of finding tables on your own. 2. The pork dish was too salty for us. Perhaps we are not too used to the traditional food. 3. Ordered the "pot roasted chicken" and to my dismay, it was worst that KFC fried chicken. Not sure did I misunderstood "pot roast", it was supposed to be roasted chicken. Just like roasted potatoes. You put into a oven and roast it, not fry it. The chicken that I had was fried chicken and it was fried till way too tough.. I proposed that it's better to change the name to "Deep Fried Chicken" instead of "Pot Roasted Chicken". Perhaps it's Romanian way of naming. I did not really enjoy the meal and was disappointed. The only good dish I had was the meatball soup.

I had a dinner here and it was very good. The food is tasty and it looks great too. The staff was nice and helpful and the location is good.

One of the best places in town and also in the country. Great traditional food, great atmosphere and great people!

This place is inside Coressi Mall in Brasov. Such a great ideea. Always busy, but they have good service and great home made food. We has soups for lunch, and we receive an appetiser from the house. The tratuonal romanian costumes the waiters wear there, are a very nice touch. I will go back there again.

They food is very good and the menu has a lot of dishes; the place is nicely arranged and spacious; some prices are a bit steep and the waiters might sometimes seem a little unfriendly and might take their time.

Best place for authentic Romanian food! Great service and wonderful people! You can go with the whole family, staff will help you with child seat, drowning materials for kids and all you might need to have a wonderful time. Take away is as good as the restaurant is, if you want to order from them you won’t be disappointed, fast delivery. Well done guys keep this up!

The worst waiters in the world . I think they are aggressive due to we are not from Romania and speak English. Their face and relationship to their guests one of the worst . I will not recommend this restaurant if you don’t want to ruin your mood .

I served a delicious meal yesterday. As soon as l arrived, I was welcomed with a lovely warm smile, and l was served impeccable, not to mention fast as well, given that it was crazy busy there, by this wonderful person called Ramona Biclea. I fully recommend this place, and hope you will be served by this lovely lady, I had a wonderful experience eating there and the athmosfere was great! Thank you!

The food is always top notch . For the type and price of restaurant I give it 5 stars . The food is a take on traditional Romanian dishes . Everytime I eat here I try something different and I have yet to be disappointed ! It is not fine dining and that is not a dig. It is very good dining in a modern/traditional setting (even though located inside a mall) I always look forward to coming back here !

Good food but the location is weird for such a restaurant

I tried ordering something from their menu, but without one ingredient and I was made aware that it is not possible as they make it in larger quantities - so you pay 100+lei/person for actual fastfood/already prepared food that should, and you expect to be cooked on spot. And on top, the waiter was rude and entitled. Otherwise place looks nice and traditional.

Traditional restaurant which takes pride in its wide range of dishes from the Romanian cuisine. I ordered a Gulas made after the recipe from the Mures county, alongside a glass of white wine and it was very tasty, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was good, the waiter was charming, and the overall atmosphere, alongside the staff dressed in traditional attire made one feel in an inn. As a bonus, on certain occasions, you can receive an appetiser, which is on the house, which consisted in my case from greaves with onion.

I really enjoyed everything at this restaurant, the food was excellent, everything was warm and homely. We were served by the waitress Lazar Mariana, the service was top-notch.

Food is average or below. Bread was not fresh. Meat salad for them means a piece of chicken thrown on top of green salad then tomato and cheese on the side. My 2 years old son could make it more attractive. Overall, probably the attitude of the servers that makes eating here such a negative experience.
