A very small objective but well presented. I liked the fact that the lady at the entrance answered some questions and was pretty straightforward. Entrance is not much less than 2 euro but if you take pictures another 5, but it takes like 30 min to read the info from the main room and browse through the 3 floors that have no details

I have mixed feelings about this museum, it's a great historical building, quite large and in very good shape considering its age. However, the curation seems outdated and the attempt to modernize it a failure, for instance the tablets didn't work properly and the historical information is rather poor. Most of the displays date from the communist period as well. Yet given the low price and the unusual (for Brasov) kindness of the staff it's worth a look.

Nice and quiet place to visit if some spare time in Brasov. There’s a little museum explaining the history of the city.

The entrance isn’t that noticeable just a beautiful carved wide door. There was no one there when I arrived around 5.30pm (it closes at 6pm). So I just looked in the courtyard. Photos are 25 RON. I don’t know about entry. But when I went there was no one there and no ticket office. Pretty cool to see.

Interesting, but it's not a big place. However if you go there you will learn about the history of Brasov from 500 years ago and how it used to look like. The ticket is very cheap, the place is pretty central, I think it's worth for a visit!

I visited this small stronghold alone. I was the only visitor. You can walk inside the courtyard free of charge. Inside, in the 2 rooms, you can see a model of the city created in 1896 - impressive! Also, there is a more recent model with lots of buldings from the Comunist period. You can get a feeling of how it was to live there if you dare to climb the stairs! You can exit through the door that takes you to the promenade under the Tampa. This is another area to be checked. Enjoy the view and remember to keep the place clean!

First for the price of admission 7 lei ($1.5) it’s a pretty cool place if you are into history. I am a history buff and this was well done telling the importance of guilds in defending the city. While I wasn’t bothered some might object to the stairs and railing being a bit like a construction site and a bit rickety. All and all I highly recommend

This place offers a small museum with the history of Brașov and spectacles and concert. Due to the pandemic the entrance was free, so something good came from this situation. I encourage you to visit it.

Great learning experience, the scale model of old Brașov with its history video & item display definitely make it worth a visit, regardless of the season. We went in the winter & we had gotten plenty of beautiful pictures. Entry prices were very reasonable as well!

Given that it was build 600 years ago, it's absolutely outstanding! So much work has been put into it, no wonder the city of Brasov was so developed - it was highly protected.

It's a place full of entertainment and a gorgeous view. You can find there a place for outdoor workout, basketball, a playground for kids, an ice-skating, all combine with history ✨✌️👀. It's a place for relax and entertainment.

You can buy tickets at the entrance. There is not much to see, although the building itself it is worth it. Inside there are sometimes concerts or theater plays (additional ticket is required). During hot summers, building offers some shade, although there are NO shops in the vicinity (water, food, sweets).

A place with a glance of XIV century history, within the probably most well preserved historical romanian city. At a joyful walking distance from old city centre, allows you to have a stop before climbing to Tampa's height.
