First when we arrived to the hotel they told us that they don’t have a parking for the clients of the hotel. So we needed to find a place to park our car. There is no air condition and we needed to open a window for the whole night but it was too noisy and we hardy sleep. We came in the last 30 min. on the breakfast and some of the products were finished.

If you want to go and relax this is not the place to go. It is extremely noisy, the walls are super thin and you can hear eveything your neighbour or people outsite te patio are doing. Besides this inside the hotel/housing location they have an old resident which probably has a poor hearing because he leaves his TV at max even after midnight. If you have the bad luck to be checked in next to him (room P03) you are going to die. Either way all of the rooms from the ground floor are very noisy and you can hear every stump & bump. In the morning you can hear people going to the breakfast area and hear dishes rumbling. So if you plan on sleeping in (up to 10am) no way you will get some rest.

Drachenhaus is an old building that is not even close to the idea of an hotel. Within your room you can hear noises from the street and from your neighborhoods, from when they talk to when they walk on the very thin wooden floors. You will see reviews about people complaining of the lack of parking place, but that is by far one of the less concerned aspect. Within our stay, we reported twice the lack of heat (December), and we have been told that is a problem that they will fix. In less than 24 hours we decided to checkout, after reading that other experienced the same discomfort. The rooms are basic, and there was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. The two mattresses that made the double bad were not comfortable at all. No impression on breakfast as we decided to try Starbucks after the entire experience. Drachenhaus is close to the city center, but is time to stop rating this location just for that.

The location is perfect, but there is no parking near the hotel. It's hard to find a place when there are so many tourists in the town. Last day we parked our car in 20 minutes by foot from the hotel. The rooms were nice, but we had a broken bathroom door handle, and the bed linen wasn't super clean. But pretty quiet at night and ok breakfast.

Close to the city, great atmosphere and big rooms.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. I've rated this a 3 as it lacks air conditioning (it was very uncomfortably hot and difficult to sleep). Location is great. Other things that could improve the hotel, but no impact on my score here - tea/coffee in the room, in room safe. If the hotel had these then it could probably charge more for the rooms. The breakfast was a very good selection of food. I would return, but not in the height of summer.

Very uncomfortable! As we lay down in bed we felt each metal spring individually. The only small window facing the courtyard couldn't be tilted. There was also no hotel parking space available as described. Breakfast was average but OK. There are better hotels in Brasov.

Perfect location on the city centre. Rooms were really good, spacious and cosy. Whenever I'm coming to Brasov this is my place to stay.

Great location, but the rooms were tiny with no air-condition. In the summer, it was extra hot inside, and the ventilator did not help, just made too much noise. The worst thing was that the bathroom was even hotter and impossible to get cold water, just hot non stop. No refrigerator so no way you could have cold water, which in the summer was very annoying.

A scam, the worst ever hotel I have been, be careful to choose it. I can't understand how a guest can be hosted in a room that has an engine behind the restroom which makes a terrible noise in the whole room. I stayed two nights and I pretty slept 4 hours each night due to this problem. Just arrived I told it to the desk clerk and she told me that they couldn't do anything because the hotel was full. In despite of this, no attention, no worry, no gesture, nothing at all. I have not received the minimum service that is sleeping well. I attach videos in which can be perfectly listened the terrible noise of the engine.

In the city center near the main turist attractions. Good breakfast. Average rooms, but clean.

Rooms are really clean and the place is indeed special.Pricy and defibetly there are many options in the same area, but this one is still a safe choice.

Great location, steps to tourist center of brasov. In the center you have great restaurants and shopping needs. Gentleman at breakfast was very nice and cheerful and cleaning staff were nice. I enjoyed the high ceilings in room and the antique vibes

We spent one night here. The rooms are very dimly lit, no telly or fridge as befits the price, but clean and spacious and quiet. The location is superb and we walked everywhere in beautiful Brasov. Breakfast was good and ample. Service was all right. Okay to spend a night.

Fair price given the period of the year - Christmas in Brașov can be a bit crowded, so the prices are high. The building dated in 1822, looks more like a historical Inn, with small but homey rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. I would give a 9 out of 10 for cleaning ( the drain from the shower was clogged ), but no other negative aspects. Located in the center of Brașov, finding a parking spot is a challenge, so, my advice is to have patience.

We stayed at this “so called hotel” for 3 nights. Pro: clean and big room in a very central location! Against: this is not a hotel! It is maximum an expensive AirBnb with a small reception. Our room was something very strange. It is a room build within the reception area (we had a common wall). Although it is a big room it only has one small window and when you open the window you have the smoking area in front of it! Good luck with that for a non smoking couple. Horrible! The bathroom was full of mould and I’m allergic, so figure it out! There was a terrible smell coming from the sewerage! In sunday morning, at 06 am, they where carying out the trash making terrible noise in front of out room and window! Pro tip: avoid, this so called hotel, if you care about yout comfort !

Great location, nice rooms with an authentic feel, good selection of foods for breakfast. I would have liked more choice of beverages, e.g. cappuccino and black tea. Also bigger mugs for tea would be nice, as well as non-disposable glasses for water and juice.

Placed right there in the center. No parking available, so be patient when you have to look for a spot. 24 RON / day, the cost pf parking there on the streets. I had a 1 person room, tiny at the lowest point of acceptance for me. The breakfast gives enough choices for a reasonable person. Coffee comes from an espresso machine. 👍

The experience in this hotel has been absolutely amazing, very good hygiene and very kind staff. The nights have been somewhat warm but the hotel had a ventilator set in place for the heat fortunately. Towels and soap was replaced everyday if even the slightest sign of use was noticed by the cleaners. So a 10+ for hygiene and comfort. The double bed is also great, soft and comfy, the entire hotel floors made out of wood do creak a little bit tho. The creaking is the only minor inconvenience that has occurred during our trip here, but then again, its a very old hotel, it adds to the 'vibe'.

Nice place, spacious rooms and very clean, with nice heating. Staff was very Profesional, could leave the luggage with them in our last day. Breakfast was fair.

The hotel is the only one in the country that uses Ultra Violet rays to disinfect the entire room. I stayed here for 4 nights and it was everything you could hope for. The hotel was not very crowded, the hygiene was impeccable, the facilities flawless and, for a cost that is moderate, I also got breakfast included. The hotel villa itself is a historical monument, a great 17th century mansion. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Very nice location. The pictures of the inner square and with a little luck a room with the view on the brasiv sign (the double room with twin beds has it). The room is classic with nice wooden beams like in the pictures. It fits very well the vibe and the style of the town. Breakfast is simple but good quality. Nice coffee, some eggs local meats and cheeses. Clean good shower and bathroom. I couldn't of something that was wrong
