A communist-era hotel that was left in the same state as 20-30 years ago. From dated staff uniforms, to old carpets, doors not even sealed that light was protruding from the hallway, wooden windows so you can't sleep at night from the noise, old toilet seats, bathtubs, bearing the marks of all their previous owners. And on top of all pillows with brown stains on them under the cases which you'd think would be the easiest to replace. Plain disgusting. Why can other hotels install double-glazed insulating windows on the inside of the old wooden ones and this hotel's owners can't? A greedy administration that only wants profit and doesn't want to renew anything. I'd understand if you want to keep a 'vintage' style but this is plain embarassing and an insult to its potential customers. I don't recommend this place, you don't have to believe me, but you might regret after experiencing this dredful place on your own

Overally, I am very disappointed. The doors on the rooms often cannot be closed, the bathroom looks like a hospital from the early 50's, the bath is cracked and yellowish instead of white. The rooms are too large for no reason, and in my opinion if you would like to have a horror experience, you should definitely come here. But if you would like to have a peaceful, not stressful stay in Braşov, This hotel is the worst choice there is.

Huge disappointment. Attracted by the old style architecture of the hotel, also by its central position and by the vicinity of the unique ”Festival 39” bar & bistro, we decided to book two rooms at ”Coroana” (January, the 23rd-27th). It was a very unpleasant experience. We didn't mind the old furniture (part of the past) and we appreciated the consistent and varied breakfast (a success mainly because it was delivered and taken place in "Festival 39" nearby). The doors didn't close properly and there was light coming from the corridor through the door frame during the night. This was nothing if we take into account the thick cigarette smoke coming into the room in the same way, although there were ''No smoking" signs all over the place. The staff was aware of the disfunction (caused by the students who were allowed to live in the hotel) but didn't do anything, even after we complained about it. So, admire the place from outside but don't try to stay there!

I stayed one night at this hotel I can say a hostel than a hotel. It wasnt hot water and on nights at my window was a pub with music loud and ppl who argue all the time. The breakfast was not so good. No fresh vegetables and not hot tea.

Stayed for one night. The hot water took ages to come through the pipes. Looks very unmaintained and leaves MUCH to be desired. Would not recommend staying for more than a night.

No wifi on the hotel, only at the reception, the furniture could be improved, except that cozy beds, nice stuff, great location. Breakfast is served at Festival 39, a really appreciated restaurant.

Stayed here in 2018. Such a weird hotel, weird bathroom, when youd shower water went everywhere. A plus is you could see the brasov sign out our room window

Great breakfast! Budget hotel, massive rooms, clean, lots of hot water, great location. Can be quite noisy at night, bring earplugs if easily disturbed
