Not sure this place actually exist or not. I book the room. I call them when I arrived there but they don’t pick up. Can’t find the hostel. End up, go to nearby expensive hotel unexpected.

I stayed at this hostel for 5 days. I've never been attacked so badly by bed bugs in my life. I'd returned back to the UK in an unbelievable amount of pain. Hundreds of swollen bites as my body had reacted days later. I wouldn't wish this upon my enemy. I've been through alot but bed bugs are by far one of the worst. Someone needs to sue the hostel. There was also a crazy lady in another room who used to scream at the top of her voice. She was abit odd and would often give me dirty looks, maybe she was mentally going through something? Please never stay here. I warn you for your sake. And make sure you thoroughly check your clothes upon leaving so you don't bring bed bugs back to your home country.

I were there for some days and the days before I was in another Hostel so I can compare. It is cleaner than other Hostel, it has washing machine that you can use for free and also it has freezer that there isn't in other places. The recepcionist very kind. There aren't communal rooms and the kitchen is quite small. It doesn't have air conditioner but it is enough with the fan. I recommend it.

Cute, Cosy, Basic; Pluuuusss washing machine with free of charge, just BYO detergent and hope for a space to dry them (very high traffic of people). Not recomended for those feeling claustrophobic or have some social anxiety things. The place is kinda tiny but has everything you can need. I think fridges in every room. Slept like a baby so to speak

I want this hostel to succeed as the staff is very kind, it’s well-priced, and great location. But I feel a certain obligation to fellow travelers in saying that I unfortunately woke up to a bed bug on my pillow. That being said, I am confident the staff will take care of it quickly and in due time, it will be of little consequence !

It's very nice and tidy place especially owner of the hostel is very nice person all facilities have available neat and clean bed,kitchen,washroom, everything was superb

I booked directly with the owner, which was welcoming (and spoke English fluently) - got two large single beds in the dorms with a locker and a power outlet. The night light was way too strong, but the beds were made of wood, which I like and find it tendering the atmosphere. The kitchen was minimal, and the showers sufficent. There is a washing machine (3 RON for a load), but nowhere to hang the wet clothes. Generally the place was fairly clean, located well and had excellent WiFi. The only major downside is the lack of public space to socialise or reception desk to get local insights. It was my second time there, and if I would be in Braşov again, good chance there will be a third.

I booked via booking, but for the wrong day. This was no problem and we were able to sleep here. No bed bugs were spotted, except in Thijs' bed. But this might be because if his personal hygiene. The showers were hot, but the toilets were stinking. Washing machine working fine.

I took the 2 person room so I can't speak for the standard hostel experience here but it was better, more well equipped and more modern at a cheaper rate than some of the hotels in town.

Bed bugs are nightmare!!! I needed to pay expensive washing fee after I got to Bucharest. The 8 mixed dorm is too small and old so it is hard to keep cleanliness. I saw the staffs clean the room daily but bugs might hide on wall or wood lockers. The room needed a DEEP CLEAN! Also remember to bring your own padlock(I forget to bring so I bought it from some shops near bus station which is cheap for 10lei) Only good thing is location, a small kitchen and enough bathrooms.

Great accommodation for travelers, located in the city centre not too far from the Black tower and White tower. It's clean and quiet (when the visitors respect the rules put in place). I do advice you to not leave your food in the fridge as we've had most of ours (and our neighbour's) stolen. The staff is extremely friendly and welcomes you with a big smile. We stayed in the 4 bed room (N.3) on the second floor and it was good. There are no curtains unlike the pictures show. And there was no space to sit other than on the beds, which is not ideal at all for the people on the top beds. Overall, I would recommend Downtown hostel - the cheapest one in town. It's everything you need for a night or two.

If you want the best location (exactly under Brasov sign) this is the place you want to be ! The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, a large fridge, microwave, a snall stove for cooking so all you need is to have food . It is a clean hostel with friendly staff and it is in a great location! I will definitely come back here next time 😎

Insanely cheap, insanely good. The kitchen is not the best, that would be my only objection.

Good hostel in good price. You can pay Ron or Euro. The exchange rate is normal so you have not to worry about.

Very close to the main square. Clean, silent with lots of space to store your stuff. The bed gave me a good night rest and met some nice ppl too. Great interaction also with the owner cuz I came in very late. Lovely view of BrasoWood sign too. 20/1/2022

I cannot recommend this place as it has a bedbug infestation. I had to leave the place, and fortunately didn't spend the night there. But multiple people who stayed there were bitten during the night and some bugs were spotted. I am sorry, but it is too serious of a problem to keep it quiet. It is a very big problem, and every traveller need to be extra careful to prevent the spread of bedbugs.
