One of the best hostels I've ever been to! Incredibly clean, amazing community and truly caring. From the owner to manager (Ana), they are always there for you to deal with anything that might come up. Ana for example has taken me and other tenants for several hikes and tours around the city - and damn is there a lot to see! The amenities are so on point - great common room, 3 showers and huge beds at an incredible price. Not to mention how perfectly located the hostel is (in the heart of the old town, 5 minutes walk from most places of interest) Couldn't recommend this place more and I have increased my stay from 2 days to over a month for this reason! Best hostel in Romania for now, super clean, comfortable, warm and qiuet with nice people from all around the world. The location is just the best, in the middle of the old center of Brasov, hidden in a small street just next to the main square and tampa hill. The beds are extremely comfortable with privacy curtains, plugs, light, towel, plus Anna upgraded me to a double bed. Anna is a great person and hostess, she takes very good care of all her guests and tries to bond people together and makes a very friendly atmosphere. She is definetely the right person for hiking tips as she has a lot of experience with the mountains around. To the next time!

An intimate hostel with 2 dorms holding 14 guests that is centrally located near the old town is great for your stay in Brasov. The kitchen is small and equipped with a fridge/freezer microwave, kettle, sandwich press, toaster and egg boiler for catering needs - no stove. The beds are a comfortable double mattress with a privacy curtain and charging ports. You don’t feel the person move on the top bunk too! Dorms are spacious and each person has a locker. The kitchen is the common area and it is quite small. There is a couch and a desk in each dorm to sit on but if you’d like your own space you can retreat behind your curtain or leave the hostel - it is a small hostel. Anna, the host at the time was very knowledgeable and helpful during our stay.

I was able to reach Iulia, the host - together with her husband Kei, on the phone, and she was extremely helpful answering all my questions and finalising a booking without any third parties involved in the deal. Both her and Kei are really hospitable and interesting talking to (they have previously lived in several countries and are well educated people). The double beds are just extremely comfortable, and the property's location is in the very Brașov city's centre (but facing an alley where no night unpleasant noises are to be heard) so that it is very convenient to go visit the city (or even as headquarters for day trips to nearby touristic destinations, such as Peleș' castle in Sinaia, the bears' sanctuary, or Bran castle). Highly recommendable!

Best hostel I have visited anywhere in Europe. Really clean, very comfortable beds, and nice showers. The place is made even better by the host Anna, who is such a helpful, friendly, caring woman. She gave me lots of advice about the area, and is an expert on the local mountains. Making me cups of tea and helping with anything at all, she really made the place feel like home. She is such an asset to this amazing little hostel. Plus there is a guitar in the hostel which is also a bonus. 100% would recommend.

This cozy and well equipped hostel is very well maintained by the amazing host Ana. She will make sure you have everything you need, and more, for a great stay!

It's one of the best hostels I've been to, the beds are great and really big. The ambience is so nice and you can be on the pistes in 40 minutes with the bus 20 !

THE BEST HOSTEL EVER. I didn’t make a reservation because my trip was not confirmed. I messaged Anca and got my bed within 20 minutes. OMG. As soon as I walked in, Ana greeted me with a smile. The facility was spot clean and warm. The bed was so comfortable. The privacy curtain blocked noise from other people during the night. WiFi was super fast. The shower was clean with protection/privacy for females. The hostel is located right in the middle of the old town. You can hang out late at night without worrying about returning to the hostel. Ana shared much information about where, what, and how to travel around Brasov and Sinaia. I wanted to stay in Brasov longer just to stay at the hostel. Anca and Ana, thank you so much for your hospitality.

So pleased with our very first stay in a hostel. We were looking for a room to spend the night and happened to come across this hostel and thought "why not?". Rang the doorbell and Ana greeted us and she managed to find a double bed for us. She's very friendly and welcoming and that's what sold it for us. If we're ever around again we would definitely stay here. Place was very clean, homely, cozy and warm considering it was very cold outside.

Everything about this place is PERFECT!! It really feels like a home to me after my stay here a few months ago. BEST hostel in one of the BEST cities in Europe. And Anna is wonderful!!

The best hostel I’ve stayed in by far. Everything about the place deserves a perfect rating. What I loved most is how calm and communal the space is. This is NOT a party hostel, and that’s a GOOD thing. I’ve made friends here that I still keep in touch with. Kei is such a friendly and gracious host. While I no longer stay in hostels for accommodation (with few exceptions), I’d be more than happy to return to SECRET Boutique.

A small and pleasant hostel. The hostel is clean and well maintained by the lovely owners, who are there during the day and are always available for anything. They are nice, kind with serviceable attitude. In the dormitory there is double bed with privacy (curtain). The owners try to help in every matter. One of the best hostel I have been ever.

It’s been a long time didn’t stay in a hostel which have proper clean with super caring host. When I stay here is Anna helped all stuffs , she is… OMG incredible! Super caring and energetic, and full sense of justice. If want to stay calm and not noisy accommodation , here is the best , no matter you are introvert or extrovert you can find your corner and nice conversations here :)

The double sized beds are the best I’ve ever experienced in a hostel! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the location is very close to bars, restaurants and cafes of Old Town. One of 2 toilets is awkwardly small and there’s a black upholstered futon/bench in the middle of one dorm that your shins are guaranteed to meet at least once when the lights are off.

The hostel is in the heart of Brasov Old Town. Anna who runs the hostel is really sincere and she is really helpful. Beds are extra comfy, the hostel is really clean. It is not a party hostel, it is a great place to socialize. In addition, I recommend the guests to hike the Tampa.

Anna was an amazing and really nice host! Everything was clean and the beds are big and comfortable. Unfortunately no stove but they are not allowed to change it :) Still I had an amazing stay and would definitely go there again. Very central!!!

Insanely comfortable QUEEN size bed with curtains for a cheap hostel. I’ve stayed in awesome hostels in 4 continents and this is the first time I’ve seen that. Hostess Anna was so welcoming and gave many good advice for local hiking spots. Would stay here again if I come back to Brasov.

Stayed there for 3 nights and extended for another 3. - very clean bathrooms and kitchen - kitchen very well equipped - queen size bunk beds, 2 pillows, you couldn't hear people turning in their beds, curtains, ... - personal lockers - small hostel with very familiar atmosphere - great town and location to explore nearby nature and sights Anna (host), thanks for the warm welcome and all the great tips! Would definitely stay there again!

Wow! My third time in Brasov and usually I go to Kismet Dao, which is closed indefinitely due to COVID. This one was right smack in the city center, and was a boutique hostel at very affordable prices! Everything was more or less automated and you have space. Lots of space! Your personal locker is huge, the dorms are spacious and decorated with nice and tasteful furniture like a couch, and a bar table and stools. Your bed… is a double bed! In a hostel! Capsule style so you get a lot of privacy. Ceilings of the beds are also high so you do not feel claustrophobic as well. Toilets are pretty spacious. Hostel fully booked but never really had to wait much, if at all, for a shower or to brush teeth. I totally recommend!

Anna is an absolutely amazing host, she helped me find some amazing hikes, food, bakeries, and even a dentist! I hope that my travels take me through Braşov again so I can stay at this hostel. I met some amazing people and had a fantastic stay, can’t recommend enough.

A great hostel, couldn't have asked for more. The host, Anna, was always friendly and treats everyone like family. It is a small, but cozy hostel with all the facilities you need. Only the kitchen doesn't have a stove and oven, but I usually wouldn't use them in a hostel anyways.

This small hostel provided maximum comfort and privacy, double beds with two pillows and sheets, blacked out privacy curtains, large towels. Facilities are clean and modern and location is perfect. Anya is very friendly and always around. The kitchen is the only communal space and reception, so you will always be around people unless you retreat to your dorm.

The bed was the best bed I've ever had in a hostel. It was a double bed!! With a wooden frame so you couldn't feel/hear your bunk mate. 2 pillows! And nice duvet. Host was very nice and knowledgeable. Clean place. Bathrooms and common area a bit small, no real social atmosphere. Very convenient location. Overall very nice

So I went there over the weekend, but I was fortunate enough to still get a bed there on the same day. So in the summer on a busy weekend it can be helpful to book in advance. The hostel is at a great location, directly between the hill and the old town. The hostess is extremely helpful and caring and the beds are very comfortable with curtains. Everything is clean and well maintained. The best hostel I stayed at until now!

I booked a stay from today. Due to a railway strike, I was unable to make it. Communication with the hostel was fantastic. They even phoned a bus company non my behalf and did everything they could. I hope to get their in the next few days. They really went out of their way to help me.

I’m very impressed about the services also the location of the hostel. Located in the heart of Brasov easy access to everything. The owner and her friend Ana are very awesome,I definitely will come back again. Looking forward for another amazing experience at secret hostel.

This was the first time I had ever stayed in a hostel and let me tell you; I have been spoiled! Everything was very clean, the beds are comfortable and arranged into somewhat soundproofed pods with their own curtains, and Ana was fantastic. I miss this hostel already.
