We have misguided by the reception lady that spa , sauna, swimming pool available up to 03.00 pm only for guests but that was wrong, there is stekers op the minibar that there’s drinking staff in the minibar but actually it’s empty, 4 stars hotel without pad kleding or sleeper!? Strange. Shampoo was not available lifts was defect and our room was in the 3rd floor , bottle of water cost 16 € !? Prices in general & Room prices also was higher than similar hotels. Taxi via hotel was also expensive and drivers one of them was not polite and other was good, cleanings arrangements was difficult and missed to leave big towels for shower/ douche + room was no privacy because next room guests was like joining us the balcony room conversation was loudly and can easily seen us .

The restaurant at Van der Valk Breda offers reasonably good food, making it a suitable dining choice. The staff is friendly and contributes to a positive atmosphere. If you're looking for a satisfying meal with a pleasant ambiance.

Very spacious and luxurious rooms. Excellent choice of well prepared food for breakfast and dinner. Excellent service. A little remote from the town centre.

Gorgeous hotel and wonderful people working there! We've had people staying there for our wedding and just when they're visiting from abroad. Never heard anything bad, only compliments! We will keep referring people here because of that.

I stay here regularly for work, all rooms are large and clean. There is a big difference between a comfort room and standard so I suggest spending the extra 20 euros for more luxury. The suites are expensive and not much different to a superior so save your money. Some rooms do come with a balcony so just ask. Restaurant is a lovely calm environment and the menu caters to everyone so you will find a meal you like. Breakfast has plenty of choice, and you can request a lunch to takeaway if you are at work all day. Swimming pool is clean and usually quiet. Small gym with cardio machines. Staff are lovely and helpful. No complaints here.

Stayed for one night. The room is spacious with a balcony and a comfortable bed, but minus the cleanliness. The corridors are very gloomy and there was not a very pleasant smell. It can be seen that the room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Given that the room was 170€ expected more attention to detail and cleanliness. A tray of dirty dishes stood in the hallway for more than four hours. For a 4 star hotel, it could be better.

Wonderful Hotel. I stayed here for six nights. The room was clean and will appointed, also the room was quiet and easy to sleep through the night. There are a variety of little places through the hotel where you can sit and read or work. This is great if you want a break from your room. The breakfast here is excellent. Wonderful service and a full buffet. You will notice the large restaurant has plenty of room to find a quiet spot for calls if you want and enough room for large groups. I will stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a lovely hotel in Breda.

We really love staying here each time we visit friends and family in Breda. It is a bit pricey but the rooms are great and spacious. There is always parking and the spa and gym facilities are decent enough .

First time in this hotel but give me surprised wonderful experience. Fantastic food and comfortable room design. Normally I would select downtown hotels but this one, 12 min. drive from Breda Central Station, won’t let you down since they can offer all the things you need and meet the expectations.

The VdVH Breda Prinzhagen is a relatively nice business hotel (2 wk stay). The restaurant and guest services are excellent the staff is friendly and helpful the location is easily accessible to highway and city center. There are some really weird misses though. The provided soap, shampoo and toilet paper are some of the worst I have ever encountered in any setting. Much worse than even the cheapest US hotel. I had to make a special effort to get replacements and I recommend not touching any of those items. The room was clean but needed some repairs, one of the shower doors was not quite hung correctly, the jet tub turned on while dry once for no reason and the toilet sometimes wet the floor when flushed. Finally, I had to tell them to enable heat when it was typically between -5°C and +5°C outsode. Then further had to ask them to set the heating schedule to always 22°C because it kept turning off and making the room cold again. Had to leave a credit card stuffed in a switch to keep the power on. This was just a really bad customer experience, first few days room was cold and dark all the time. Not a fan. Overall not bad for a business stay and the room wasn't so bad as to make it worth dealing with changing rooms.

Great hotel, the rooms were very nice and the downstairs restaurant is great. A little outside downtown, but not an issue

Very nice room, not close to city center. But there is a shopping mall you can walk.

Nice hotel with some nice amenities. Rooms were big with an open plan bathroom lol which was kinda odd but u guess it is what it is. Nice jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and indoor swimming pool. Breakfast a bit expensive (€20) but really nice otherwise. I'd stay again for sure

Hotel was great! Staff is friendly, everything is really clean, pool and gym are great and the breakfast has a nice variety. Bar downstairs has a nice variety of cocktails. Thanks!

Nice hotel. Breakfast is excellent compared to many other hotels. I will definitely stay here again. I am an intentional traveler. While they had American adapters at the reception, it would have been nice, if they had automatically provided at least one in every room.

Van der Valk are changing their interior and styling. The service is the same and still good to go. Not high classic and high end service but ok to have a pleasant stay. Also the Tesla charging area is good. You can easily drink some coffee or thee while you are waiting for charging.

Beautiful rooms and really comfy beds! Amazing bath and shower (I wish I had one so fancy in my house). The evening staff were great and gave us extra coffee for the morning :)

Nice hotel, very convenient for business trips. Perfect service, clean and large room and very good breakfast. The location of the hotel is far from the city center, you've got to have a car to move around, note it takes lot of time for taxis to get to the hotel

Fine Van der Valk hotel. Lives up to its brand name. Personal is friendly and accommodating, rooms are very nice. Breakfast and restaurant are excellent although my steak was overcooked but they compensate it with the atmosphere.

Nice rooms, nice pool. Bed was good. Enjoyed the pool. Sadly there was posted in the pool that drinks could be ordered. And we really fancied a gin tonic in the hot tub (we were the only people in the pool at that time even) the order was accepted at reception but then rejected by the bar. Expectation management in this case was not great. Other than this the stay was wonderful. Prices everywhere are crazy so i wont hold it against you that you were also a bit expensive in the restaurant.

Normally I recommend anyone to book a Van Der Valk hotel. It is usually excellent breakfast, dinner, rooms and overall a very good price / comfort ratio. This hotel i do not recommend so much. My main disappointment was the restaurant. We had ordered the fish platter for 2. Ok, it was in mids of covid so it is not so easy maybe to get fresh products. That said I think the poor fish died 3 times before ending op on our table. 1 when frozen, two when fried and 3 when kept warm in the oven, waiting for someone crazy like me to order the dish. The room was ok, despite a bit noisy ventilator. Staff was very friendly.

Conveniently located between Antwerp and Rotterdam, along the motorway A16, a great place to meet for a business lunch or gathering, or an afternoon tea. Equally convenient for a family dinner, with or without kids.

We had a lunch meeting in the restaurant, which was fine. However it was quite noisy with the tables all filling up and not much distance between them.
