Went to the organised bonfire and firework display that they put on for charity. Not a bad night at all, massive fire and a decent firework display. Plenty of room for kids to run around too.

Absolutely fabulous day out. Great entertainment, fantastic children's facilities and loads of good food and interesting stands. We will definitely be back next year.

Attended for the mirfield firework display 2023, the weather was terrible which made the ground as bad as the Somme. Frankly, the show should have been cancelled but kudos for attempting it. Unfortunately, i observed one of the rides having no care for the health and safety of the children whereby one of the supports was moving by a good 30mm when the ride was operational, i informed the staff but no one seemed to do anything about it and the ride continued to operate all evening. The bonfire was half decent but again, due to the weather and the wood now being sodden, it took a good hour for the fire to get going before it was fully caught. The major drawback was the firework display itself. Scheduled for 1900, this didn't take place until 1950. No communication or reasoning was passed around people to let them know what the delay was. In the end, we walked away and caught some of the display, what we saw was alright with some big fireworks, but fifty minutes after its schedule, we were too wet and annoyed to enjoy them. One plus, everyone else waited so we got out of mirfield before all the people getting in their cars :) Sadly, this is one bonfire event to avoid.

Bonfire night excellent fire work display and fire, small fair ground, coffee stall selling cakes and a decent burger van. Very busy and long queues but the fireworks made up for it!

👍👍 A great day out, plenty to explore loads of great scenery to view throughout the park. Would strongly advise that correct footwear is worn like wellies or walking shoes/boots. As in some areas, it can get rather muddy, I'm yet to fully explore this amazing park, but what I have explored so far has s...
