Review
As
I've
aged,
I've
noticed
that
my
neck,
shoulders,
and
back
muscles
have
become
stiffer,
causing
pain
when
I
use
them.
The
sensation
of
relieving
a
long-standing
knot
can
truly
be
transformative.
Not
only
does
it
provide
immediate
relief
from
pain
and
tension
in
the
scapula
area,
but
it
also
enhances
blood
circulation
and
nutritional
flow.
Being
an
enthusiast,
I
have
frequented
various
massage
parlors,
mostly
opting
for
Thai
and
Chinese
establishments.
I
have
a
particular
fondness
for
massages
provided
by
blind
therapists,
such
as
the
Mangren
Tuina
(盲人推拿按摩)
technique.
Recently,
I
returned
from
a
trip
to
China
where
I
made
it
a
point
to
regularly
visit
massage
parlors.
Thus,
I
embarked
on
a
search
for
a
massage
parlor,
hoping
to
replicate
the
same
positive
outcomes
and
sensations.
After
reading
numerous
positive
reviews
on
Yelp
and
Google,
I
decided
to
start
writing
reviews,
beginning
with
the
city
of
Amsterdam.
It's
worth
noting
that,
in
my
experience,
Google
ratings
for
massage
parlors
aren't
always
an
entirely
good
indication,
but
they're
better
than
nothing.
**Massage**
Chosen
type
of
massage:
sport
massage
Masseur:
I
requested
the
only
guy
working
there,
as
he
was
the
only
specific
recommendation
I
could
locate
from
the
reviews.
Due
to
privacy
reasons,
I
will
only
mention
his
initials,
G.
Price:
45
minutes
=
50
euros
(for
the
most
recent
price
list,
see
picture).
This
is
comparable
to
prices
in
other
cities.
(See
picture
for
most
recent
pricing.)
Process:
Upon
arrival,
you
exchange
your
shoes
for
slippers.
For
the
sports
massage,
you
lie
on
a
table
face
down
through
a
hole,
wearing
only
your
underwear.
**Opinion**
Technique:
The
massage
felt
random
and
chaotic,
without
applying
pressure
in
the
right
places.
Although
the
masseur
had
strong
hands,
the
pressure
wasn't
applied
effectively,
often
missing
the
pressure
points
entirely
or
only
briefly
touching
them.
Effect:
Unsurprisingly,
I
didn't
feel
much
better
afterwards.
In
fact,
the
blanket
they
placed
over
me
during
the
massage
made
me
sweat,
leaving
me
somewhat
worse
off.
Other
relevant
observations:
-
The
sound
of
people
entering
is
quite
audible.
There
wasn't
a
dedicated
staff
member
to
receive
new
customers,
resulting
in
the
masseur
being
interrupted
multiple
times
during
the
treatment.
-
Despite
my
communication,
they
applied
oil
on
me,
which
they
later
had
to
remove.
I
was
informed
that
they
typically
use
oil
for
massages
and
find
it
challenging
to
perform
massages
without
it.
However,
excessive
oil
usage
can
make
it
difficult
to
apply
deep
and
focused
pressure.
-
The
entire
room
is
divided
with
curtains
so
every
sound
is
audible.
People
are
expected
to
treat
it
as
a
silence
area.
Not
recommended
for
people
who
like
to
chat
during
massages.
**Final
Verdict**:
