Wrote an e-mail asking for clarification about the available rooms and if the rooms were cleaned thoroughly or if this could be requested as we have a dust and pet allergy. Unfortunately, we never got an e-mail back leading us to conclude that the hotel does not want our business.

What a wonderful find in Bruges! Emanuel and his wife, Maka , the hosts were the BEST! The breakfast is made to order, and comes with fine belgian chocolate. The accommodations are top notch. It is a beautifully restored guest house with only a few rooms available, so book well in advance. You will NOT be disappointed!

What a lovely Guest house! Location excellent near all the best parts of Bruges. Friendly, helpful, amazing owners! Emanuel and his wife are adorable, welcoming, always making sure that their guests are satisfied! Delicious fresh cooked breakfast. Very clean rooms with a big comfy bed and a private jaccuzi. Hotel has elevator for easy access to rooms and a salon with a coffee machine and soft music. Parking is available, we couldn't find it when we arrived specially that the roads was blocked during this time of the year so the owner walked towards our car and directed us in. We HIGHLY recommend and we will definitely come back

We had the pleasure of staying at Maison Le Dragon for easter weekend! The place was so well looked after and our room was spacious and welcoming. Also the breakfast is delicious, the tastiest we've ever had in a B&B/Hotel. You feel completely at peace and relaxed staying in this wonderful home whilst still only being a 2 minute walk into the city centre. Emanuel and his wife Maka are so kind and the best hosts you could ask for, we couldn't recommend this place enough.

The guesthouse is incredibly good value. Cozy, comfortable rooms, impeccable and personalized service, as well as an unbeatable location. Manu makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in, and makes sure your stay is comfortable throughout.

Very pleasant, small B&B in perfect Bruges location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to everything but half a block outside the main tourist pathways, so it's a bit quieter. Be aware that if you are in a room facing the street, you will hear some noise if you have the windows open. The hotel does have air conditioning, so opening the windows is not necessary and we had no trouble sleeping night or day. The breakfast is bountiful and delicious, enough that you will not need lunch, just a snack such as a waffle or frites in the afternoon. Emmanuel (the co-owner) knows the area well and gives great recommendations for restaurants, etc. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! Perfect getaway in an inviting and wonderfully magical place. Room (jr suite) was fairly large with comfortable bed. Bathroom jacuzzi hot tub is fantastic plus the Hermes bath products make it a luxurious treat! Emanuel the host is kind and generous.

We left our river cruise in Amsterdam and left most of our luggage in lockers at the nearby central train station and caught a train to Brugge. We arrived mid-afternoon and took a cab to Maison Le Dragon (actually only a 15 min walk away we found) and were warmly greeted by Emanuel, the owner/host and shown to our beautiful suite. It was absolutely delightful and spacious after our cabin on the boat with access to a lovely roof garden, a comfortable and luxurious living area with lounge chairs, fireplace etc. and a 4-poster bed and ultra-sophisticated bathroom. This is a small 16th century private guesthouse with a small number of suites that has been tastefully refurbished with elegance and with lovely tapestries and paintings that have been restored. We were given maps and directions and instructions on how to access the entrance and we took off on a walking tour of Brugge as everything was within walking distance and easy to find after all our questions had been answered. That night we dined at Christopher's just down the road on our host's recommendations and enjoyed a beautifully prepared meal and excellent service. After a wonderful night's rest we were treated to the best breakfast we have ever had anywhere. Our choice of eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, whatever you desired. As well the fruit plate was most extravagant and delicious and the Belgium pastries and chocolates were to die for! All served on beautifully arranged tables with Belgium lace cloths. We felt very pampered. We loved this accommodation and would recommend it to any discerning travellers.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Emmanuel sat down with us when we arrived to give us advice on what to see in the city during our stay. The room was everything we could have wanted and more - blackout curtains, air conditioning (does not work at night, but cracking the windows was more than adequate), jacuzzi tub, stand up shower, comfortable pillows. The breakfast was amazing also - eggs made to order; cheeses, breads, yogurt, and fruit. The hotel itself was beautiful as well, with paintings that reflect the history of the couple who once lived there.

We cannot rate Maison Le Dragon highly enough. Emmanuel & Maka were incredibly welcoming and have created a unique space for you to escape to in the heart of Bruges. Beautiful decor, plenty of space, plus a delicious breakfast of healthy fruit followed by eggs, pastries, breads, cheese board (and even cheeky chocolates), all in a relaxed and calming environment. What more could you ask for? - Andrew & Ingrid

Decor was lovely. Rooms cosy and warm - the bed was huge and really comfy and the jaccuzi bath was fab after a long day exploring! The breakfast was also incredible, everything you could wish for! The location was brilliant and Emmanuel was an exceptional host, nothing was too much. We felt totally valued and looked after from the minute we arrived. The personal touch is something that can be lacking when you stay in a big chain hotel but Maison Le Dragon is the total opposite. We will definitely be back! Thanks again! :)

Wonderful experience, easily our best stay over a multi week tour which included 7 other accommodations. Emmanuel is one of the best hosts we ever encountered anywhere. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, informative, charming, and kind. Breakfast was fantastic. The home is beautiful and a great location. Our room was large, by EU standards, comfortable and clean. The bathtub jacuzzi was a nice surprise. Emmanuel's house beer was great, the patio was charming, the garage was nice (though could be intimidating for some Americans to drive through the crowds and tiny roads to get there). The art in the home is amazing and it, along with the house, have a great story / history. We look forward to return to Bruges (a new favorite city) and hopefully Mason Le Dragon.

One of the best places we stayed during our Begium & Neerhlands trip.Emmaneual ( the host) and his wife were the perfect host and took their time in explaining everything to us. We loved the Rococo in the main living room and enjoyed our stay. We wish we stayed a few more nights there!!..Overall excellent!!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Bruges for our short winter holiday! Emmanuel, our host, was incredibly kind, welcoming and constantly keen on making our stay as pleasant as possible! He shared recommendations of things to do in town, greeted us with a delicious breakfast every morning (fruits, yoghurt, cheese platter, eggs of our preference, pastry, yummy chocolate and very good coffee) and showed a great attention to detail in all matters. After just a couple of days, it felt like leaving a long distance friend. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!

We arrived via car and used the secure parking facility, which made things really simple. Guesthouse Maison le Dragon is a wonderful place. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners runs throughout the Guesthouse. Breakfast was a sumptuous affair with coffee, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, freshly made scrambled eggs and delicious chocolate. We had the pleasure of meeting Emmanuel and his Father - in addition to enjoyable conversation regarding shared interests, Emmanuel gave us several recommendations of places to explore within Bruges that made the trip even more special. We are always excited to return!

😠 DO NOT EAT HERE!! Disgusting, unsafe. This restaurant should be shut down. The Head Chef had his fingers in his mouth and was picking his teeth with his fingernail, then handling people’s food with his bare hands. Then another chef kept touching his face and hair before touching people’s food, then...
