My family’s favorite branch to go to, HOWEVER, quality these days seem to be dropping (sizing is smaller, cuts and rolls are inconsistently shape and sized, different flavor/toppings added). Just like the other branches, service is great and their staffs are friendly. Unlike the newer branches, the restaurant is just on the ground floor and they do not have a VIP room. They do have individual stalls but it’s not private. It gets really busy most days in this branch and a reservation is highly recommended. (Disclosure: menu and taste is catered towards local taste buds and not necessarily authentic). My recommendations for those who haven't tried excapade (* all time favorites): *SALMON FIRE CHEESE - a must order. A torched cheese layer on top of aburi salmon. *MINI SALMON MAYO WITH IKURA - salmon wrapped around sushi rice topped with mayonnaise and ikura (theres a cheaper version with ebiko but tastes is not the same). *UNA IKURA MAKI - fried unagi maki topped with mayonnaise and ikura. *MINI CALIFORNIA SPECIAL - a fried twist to the all time loved California maki. *SALMON UNAGI IKURA TEMAKI - best temaki combination for salmon and unagi lovers. TEMPURA MORIAWASE/EBI - lightly battered vegetables, prawns and fish if you choose the assorted tempura. Crunchy and delicious. CHIRASHI DON - a variety of sashimi (tuna, salmon, ika, tako, saba) and tamago on top of a bed of rice. A value for money if you’re craving for a variety of seafood. KARAGE - crunchy, moist and perfectly seasoned fried chicken. GRILLED SALMON HEAD - teriyaki sauce is amazing and the salmon head is fresh and fatty. There are many more of my favourite dishes but these are interesting and unique to excapade.

Food was average some sushi were sweet. Not really authentic Japanese flavours. Service is not really attentive. Food is being served quickly prices are reasonable

Quick service. They do always offer chef's choice or today's special at the end of your meal. The seafood and food is always fresh. Price range is affordable. However certain branch is not clean. If you want to eat in this restaurant, I suggest Kuilap, Rimba point and Serusop branch. They follow your request if you want the food to be spicier or sweeter and more.

Waiting more than an hour for my food to come (I did write down my order, and gave it to the new waiter) . Unfortunately, after more than an hour of waiting, we called another waiter that passed by our seat, he said they didn't receive any of my orders... Very disappointed... I hope Excapade can train their new waiters (some, not all are bad) on how to be respectful and improve their customer service... In the end, I just went out without eating any food...maybe this is the last I'm going there... This is what we called "alum rezqi", my rezqi d tmpt lain...

nice food with great place. but i prefer to order manually than the online things.. please bring back chicken and vege maki. Itadakimasu..

Ordered take away on the way back to Belait @ about 4:30pm. Service was fast even though there was quite a number of customers for take-away orders. Dine-in was at about 40% table taken. Food was great as usual. Atmosphere: No comment. Will try to dine in next time to get the feel.

First time in excapade branch, has visited other chain before these. The chain has great selection of sushi, sashimi and other. Their promotion is great, order is via online, sadly i would prefer menu and persobal touch in ordering rather online. The food has great taste, we has selection os susshi, it was nice. Good place to hv Japanese cuisines with reasonable price . Quick service and great ambience for family dine in.

Very good atmosphere. Wide range of soup and dish choices. Also tastes very delicious!!!! Only problem is when you order too much, the waiters sometimes get you the wrong dishes, but they will get you the correct one ASAP!

Fantastic Japanese restaurant! I've tryed escapade for business dinner and I remained very satisfying for large choose of menu, delicious taste of food. Everything I've tryed were fresh, well cooked and presented. Despite Restaurant were full and we were a numerous table, the time of service was reasonable and pretty fast. Informal location, too high air condition but on request they reduce it. Kind staff Ratio quality-Price is optimal! Very suggested.
