    🚨This place is a scam!🚨 Don't book, otherwise you will loose your money and time. They lure the people with the excellent location, but it seems that nobody has slept here since a long time- just tourists coming and encountering the same situation as we did. We arrived to the flat at the check-in time 4PM only to find the apartment completely dirty, with the rest of food, dishes, dirty towels everywhere, chairs in the shower(?), can't even find the words to describe how disgusting the beds and sofa are, even condoms lying around. I don't want to post more pictured because they are disgusting. Smartflats Monnaie doesn't respond to our messages, we are currently waiting for the solution from Booking because luckily we booked through them.

    Schlechtestes Apartment in dem ich je geschlafen habe. Sag zwar schön aus aber nichts hat richtig funktioniert. Die Waschmaschine, die Spülmaschine, die Heizung, die Klimaanlage sowie mehrere Steckdosen und der Fön waren kaputt. In zwei Zimmern gab es kein Licht, so das man diese nur mit Taschenlampe benutzen konnte und das Sofabett war kaputt und erholsamer Schlaf war unmöglich. Die Mitarbeiter sind unfassbar unfreundlich und helfen kein bisschen weiter. Haben uns jeden Tag beschwert, aber haben immer nur leere Versprechen bekommen… uns wurde während dem gesamten Aufenthalt eine Rückerstattung versprochen, die wir im Endeffekt nie erhalten haben. Alles in allem würde ich nicht mal mehr für Geld in einer dieser Wohnungen übernachten. Dieses Unternehmen versucht einfach nur Menschen abzuzocken!

    They made a double booking and our room was already occupied. SmartFlats did not help us at all. They did not want to cancel our booking and just said we had to call Booking.com. We did and Booking.com couldn't get them on the phone... Terrible, do not stay at SmartFlats (any location.

    SCAM A Nightmare Experience Appalling Conditions and Nonexistent Customer Service, This is ILLEGAL!!! I recently booked an apartment through what I thought was a reputable platform, only to find myself in a living nightmare upon my arrival. The experience was so horrifying that it could only be described as a scam. From the moment I walked through the door of this apartment, it became apparent that things were terribly amiss. To say that the apartment was in chaos is an understatement. The entire place was in shambles - there were used condoms, dirt and filth everywhere, half-smoked cigarettes, empty alcohol bottles, and even unspeakable and disgusting fluids that I would rather not describe in detail. Naturally, I attempted to contact customer service immediately to report this appalling situation and seek assistance. However, it quickly became apparent that the so-called "customer service" provided by this platform was essentially nonexistent. My repeated phone calls went unanswered, leaving me stranded in a distressing and potentially dangerous situation. The entire experience left me with an overwhelming sense of discomfort, vulnerability, and anxiety. I had specifically chosen this apartment to have a private space and enjoy the convenience of cooking my own meals, only to be met with an environment that was far from what was advertised or expected. I subsequently had to scramble to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, incurring unexpected expenses that I had not budgeted for. This experience was not only financially burdensome but also emotionally taxing. In summary, my stay at this apartment was nothing short of a complete nightmare. The conditions were deplorable, the customer service was nonexistent, and the entire situation left me feeling like I had been scammed. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of this property and the platform through which it was booked. This experience was not only a disappointment but also a gross violation of trust, and I sincerely hope that no one else has to endure such a nightmarish situation while trying to enjoy their travels.

    They deserves zero stars. Scammers who don’t ask trough Airbnb for caution but in place with cash or credit cards. Our apartment was so dirty when we arrived and someone before us had a party. There was like plenty of beer bottles, smoked cigarettes on the balcony, on the floor and don’t let me talk about the kitchen and the bedrooms. We stayed for 3 days and after that they charged us for the party that some people did before us even I talked with the employees like 5 minutes after we entered the apartment. At the end of our journey I had to call the police to have my money back and had lots of call with Airbnb. Be aware about those scammers. TBH They have really good apartments but really bad employees.

    Great short stay flat smack bang in the middle of Brussels close to all attractions and amenities. Looking at the different elements : **Location - 5/5: located close to the Grand Palace in the pedestrian zone **Cleanliness - 5/5: Nothing to say. The place is as new **Facilities - 5/5: The flat has a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. To top it all the building also houses a lounge where you can stock your luggage after checking out. All in all, excellent service and highly recommended.

    It is in a prime location. And they are nice apartments. Not suitable for disabled due to step stairs and a very small lift. Apartment lay out good. Not enough comfortable sitting for the amount the apartment accommodation. Also very limited cleaning products for guests that like to self cater. Also shortage of pillows when apartment full. When requested some more the answer was no.

    A very nice location, in the city center, equipped with anything u need(including a washmachine and a dryer) for a stay in Bruxelles. We found it clean and welcoming. It feels like home but in a different city or country. At the 1st floor is a lounge with computers if you want to work or surf the web.

    I DONT recommend this hotel to anyone at all. Me and my family had a very awfull experience our plan was to celebrate my husband's bday at the hotel with our 3 kids. Everything went well until the first person had to take an (short) shower. My husband had his projector hooked up infront the television but not yet in use. Surprisingly our daughter screamed that she saw water dropping down from the ceiling near electricity and on our projector she could've gotten electrocuted... due high risk we had problems disconnecting materials because water was to be seen everywhere on the floor near audio that was in the contact. We still managed to do it safely the projector wasn't going on anymore we went downstairs for and refund atleast because the loss of an broken projector caused by inappropriate service and unsafe choices of the hotel to make people sleep there wile they was fully aware of the problem because they started lying when they was confronted. The said it was going to be handled at the reception but when William emailed us he tried to act like it was (our) fault at first then afterwards he said he let someone check the room claiming (nothing) was wrong... like we overreacted or are crazy people then when we reacted he didn't mail us back anymore after 3 weeks we got like an final mail that Specialists checked the room and noticed (nothing) wrong with the shower nor ceiling. We got no refund no empathy no nothing for our broken projector and terrible hotel experience and of course failed bday celebration. When something is wrong this hotel is very hard to contact!!! no safety no hospitality no understanding just filthy manners of treating customers.They are very Nasty" people when it comes to doing business a disgrace to Belgian hotels at Brussels best believe there are MANY that's better and that atleast changes their bedsheets and also have no rooms that smell funky as you enter the facility. Very unprofessional and not human friendly this hotel is Big Big Red flag!!!!
