reservations

this
hotel

ago
for
NYE.
Called
to
confirm
the
reservations
and
5
rooms.
Also
confirmed
that
one
of
the
rooms
was
the
one
on
the
1st
floor
that
had
a
balcony
to
which
they
confirmed.
Upon
getting
to
the
hotel
on
Saturday,
we
were
told
that
they
had
already
put
a
family
into
the
room
that
was
confirmed
for
us.
Their
reasoning
was
that
guest
was
yhere
longer
than
we
were.
When
asked
why,
they
could
only
say
there
was
nothing
they
could
do
to
fix
it.
They
mentioned
that
they
could
take
4
euro
off
the
price
of
the
breakfast
buffet,
which
is
over-priced
to
start
with.
Then,
on
NYE,
we
were
told
that
we
could
not
be
in
the
bar
area.
When
we
asked
why
we
were
told
that
the
restaurant
had
a
private
party.
That
was
no
big
deal
but
when
we
asked
if
the
bar
was
part
of
the
hotel,
we
were
told
yes.
So
if
it
is
part
of
the
hotel
and
we
were
guests
why
were
we
not
allowed
to
use
it?
In
the
past
year,
this
hotel
has
gone
downhill
in
the
customer
service
area.
This
was
a
must
stay
on
our
trips
to
Brussels,
but
now,
due
to
the
actions
of
the
hotel
staff
and/or
the
restaurant
and
bar
personnel,
I
do
believe
I
would
be
staying
elsewhere.
It
was
kind
of
sad
as
the
location
of
this
place
was
one
of
the
reasons
that
we
always
chose
here.
