Amazing palace of parliament with interesting history. 2nd biggest administrative building in the world. Most expensive building in the world. About 1million cubic metres of marble used. 1000s of rooms but tours only take you to some of the nice one. usually tours take 2 hours but if events being hosted. The screenshot shows the gate for entrance to the parliament for tours. Remember to bring your original passport, no exceptions. Tours mainly in English but some days can be in Spanish. Book tour a day before by calling. Usually they have enough spots to fit you in for English tours.

This is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend a visit. Worth spending time here and very nice to see. The palace is marvellous and I would consider this place a must-do in Bucharest. Bear in mind to take your passport with you as it is compulsory, and do carry any dangerous objects as there is a security check at the beginning.

(Translated by Google) Impressive, imposing building, erected with the sweat and suffering of the Romanian people - an additional reason to appreciate this monumental construction. The rest is either history or can-can. (Translated by Google) Impressive architecture and suitable for the landscape of the area. The play of lights on the building in combination with the Christmas decorations and installations creates a dreamy enchantment and a warm and inviting atmosphere. I really enjoyed the walk on this park. I don't know if it was the large number of trees that made the difference or the beautiful lake, but the atmosphere was astonishing. I believe it is the best place in Bucharest to go on a sunny day of Spring and calm down, relax in a bench or walk to release the pressure of the day in the city.

This is truly a spectacular building. It is said to be the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. Large sweeping staircases, marble throughout, grand rooms beautifully done. It is truly impressive, sits on 12 acres of grounds and is placed so that it is a showplace. Lots of stories on this building from the communist era and its construction and what it cost the Romanian people. For a small fee you can take photographs but it is well worth it. The tour takes about 3-4 hours and it is easily accessible for even the most limited travelers. The staircases are wide and easy to climb and not intimidating at all.

massive as very few buildings in the world, seen almost from any possible angle, made from greed and by peoples blood and famine, preserved after the fall and now serves as a multiexhibition hall. Get there early , book a ticket , it is not expensive and follow the tour, it is very interesting, marbles gold, huge rooms and lots of stairs. The view from the roof is stunning

A must see attraction! A behemoth of a building and quite interesting on the inside. If you come from a former communist country you would not be that surprised, but if you are from Western Europe you would be staggered. An incredibly controversial place, but an important reminder.

In Bucharest's heart, I did roam, Through streets and markets, far from home. Muzeul Țăranului, a vibrant delight, Colors and treasures, a wondrous sight. With treasures in hand and heart aglow, To Kiseleff Park, I chose to go. A haven of peace, in the city's embrace, Nature's beauty, a tranquil space. Beneath the trees, their branches high, Whispers of leaves in the evening sky. Children's laughter and lovers' embrace, In this serene haven, I found my place. A bench of wrought iron, beneath the oak, Where melodies danced and time awoke. The setting sun, a painter's delight, Filling the world with soft, warm light. As day turned to night, the sky's grand show, Pastels and stars, a tranquil flow. In Bucharest's heart, this memory stays, A moment of beauty, in countless ways. Through Muzeul Țăranului and Kiseleff's grace, I found a connection, a peaceful embrace. In the heart of a city, bustling and bold, I discovered a story worth being told.

(Translated by Google) The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Romania (known before the 1989 revolution as the House of the Republic or People's House [2]), measures 270 m by 240 m, 86 m high, and 92 m underground made in the spirit of realistic socialist architecture. [ 3] It has 9 levels on the surface and another 9 underground. According to the World Records Academy, the Palace of Parliament is the second largest administrative building for civilian use in the world, and the most expensive administrative building in the world and the heaviest building in the world. [4] The Parliament Palace building is located in the central part of Bucharest (sector 5), on the place now called Arsenal Hill, surrounded by Izvor Street to the west and northwest, United Nations Boulevard to the north, Liberty Boulevard to the east and Calea 13 Septembrie the south. It is 10 minutes away from Unirii Square and 20 minutes from the North Railway Station (by bus 123). The hill on which the Parliament Palace stands today is generally a creation of nature, with an initial height of 18 m, but the part from Libertății Boulevard is artificially raised. It ranks 2nd in the world in terms of "the most expensive, unsuccessful and shameful architectural projects ever made," a ranking made by the world's most visited architectural site, ArchDaily. [5] money and suffering, 70% is unused, most of it not being structured for the needs of individuals but for the megalomaniacal desires [6] of Ceausescu, [5] [6] the cult of personality putting its mark on this edifice.

The usual city hall managed park. A bit dirty. People were having fun away from the daily heat. The guard was over doing his job, ready to tell some kids playing soccer to go away as they *might* hit some baby, although I've counted that each baby in that area had an average of 2,34 patents guarding, most of the parents being less than a foot away.

Located in a central area, it was easily accessible and convenient to reach. The park itself was beautifully green during the summer. It was an ideal spot for a picnic, with plenty of open spaces and benches available. However, one downside was the noise level due to its location between two busy boulevards. This made it a bit challenging to fully enjoy the tranquility of the park.

Kiseleff Park in Bucharest is a true urban oasis that deserves every one of its 5 stars. Nestled in the bustling city, this serene park offers a welcome escape from the urban hustle and bustle. It's a place where nature thrives, and tranquility reigns, making it an absolute must-visit for locals and tourists alike. From the moment I stepped into Kiseleff Park, I was greeted by lush greenery, colorful flower beds, and well-manicured lawns. The park's impeccable landscaping creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, a picnic with loved ones, or simply finding a quiet bench to relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. The park's central location makes it easily accessible and a popular destination for locals seeking respite from their busy lives. Whether you're looking for a place to exercise, unwind, or connect with nature, Kiseleff Park has it all. The paved pathways are ideal for joggers and cyclists, while the open spaces provide ample room for recreational activities and gatherings. One of the highlights of Kiseleff Park is the stunning lake situated at its heart. The shimmering waters and the gentle sound of fountains create a serene ambiance that instantly calms the mind. Walking along the lakeside promenade, I found myself immersed in the beauty of the surroundings, as ducks glided gracefully across the water and colorful flowers adorned the pathway. The park's amenities are also commendable. Clean public restrooms, well-maintained playgrounds for children, and strategically placed benches throughout the park make it a welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors of all ages. Additionally, the park is equipped with free Wi-Fi, allowing visitors to stay connected while enjoying the beauty of nature. Kiseleff Park is not only a haven for nature lovers but also a cultural hub. It houses various statues, sculptures, and monuments that pay homage to important historical figures and events. It's an opportunity to delve into Romania's rich heritage while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. Throughout my visit, I noticed the dedication of the park staff in maintaining its pristine condition. Their hard work and attention to detail are evident, and their friendly demeanor adds to the overall positive experience of visiting Kiseleff Park. In conclusion, Kiseleff Park in Bucharest is a true gem that offers a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city. Its lush greenery, beautiful lake, and well-maintained facilities make it an ideal place to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst the urban chaos. I wholeheartedly give Kiseleff Park a 5-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene and rejuvenating experience.

Set in the heart of Bucharest, Kiseleff Park has a history rooted in the late 19th century. Once a royal domain, the park has weathered the city's transformations over the years. Its paths and greenery hold traces of a bygone era, providing a quiet retreat for those seeking a glimpse into Bucharest's past. While not without its own weathered charm, the park invites visitors to explore its history amid the echoes of a changing cityscape.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful park that was a true oasis of tranquility and fun for all ages. This park was a perfect blend of natural beauty and well-thought-out amenities, making it an ideal destination for families and individuals alike. The park was adorned with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and towering trees that provided ample shade on sunny days. As I strolled along the winding paths, I couldn't help but be captivated by the serenity of the surroundings. It was a place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and connect with nature. One of the standout features of this park was the abundance of benches strategically placed throughout the area. These benches provided an opportunity for visitors to relax and take in the scenic beauty. Whether you wanted to read a book, have a picnic, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment, there was always a bench nearby. For families with children, this park was a haven of entertainment. There were well-maintained playgrounds with swings, slides, and climbing structures that kept kids happily occupied. The laughter and energy of children at play added to the lively atmosphere of the park. In addition to the playgrounds, the park also boasted open spaces for picnics and sports activities. It was a common sight to see families enjoying a meal together or groups engaged in friendly games of frisbee or soccer. The park fostered a sense of community and togetherness. The park's thoughtful design also extended to facilities like clean restrooms and water fountains, which were conveniently scattered around the area. This attention to detail ensured that visitors had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In conclusion, the beautiful park with its abundance of benches and diverse recreational offerings was a serene and enjoyable destination for all. Whether you sought a peaceful retreat to connect with nature or a place for your children to run and play, this park had it all. I left with a sense of contentment and a desire to return to this idyllic haven in the heart of the city.

The park is situated close to Victory Square and it's quite small. The thing that makes it special is the age of the trees in this park. There are all tall and aging trees that give it a forest vibe. There are some children playgrounds in the park and 3 museums in close proximity. The best time to visit is in late spring / summer when everything is more green. I recommend also taking a walk on the nearby streets to see the old architecture of Bucharest houses in the quite old district of the town.

A nice park with multiple children's play areas, lots of benches and a garbage can by almost every bench. The park is quite clean and close to a few embassies. There are security cameras throughout as well. I didn't take any pictures but it's a larger green park with a pleasant atmosphere and brick or crushed rock pathways winding in and out. Lots of room to roam but no large "open" area. At a casual stroll it would probably take about 25-30 min to go around the whole place.
