One of the most interesting places I have been in a very long time. You go in and the terrace has the vibe of a funky living room. The style combines elements of metal and hippie culture that you can find at the Romanian seaside. The people serving you drinks are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Prices are decent and for people that love rock music you will definitely be delighted by this place. If you are looking for something different, quirky this is the place to be!

I was amazed by the fact that at Ubuntu I feel exactly as I felt in a bar at the seaside in Vama Veche. If you miss that rock and chill athmosphere, Ubuntu is the place where the experience is recreated. The drinks are very good, the staff is very relaxed and friendly and they also have good food (I only tried quesadilla and fries, which seemed not to be frozen but very well seasoned and tasty). The only thing I would want to be improve is the overall cleanliness, especially at the bathrooms. Very nice place for summer!

Very old school but cozy location. Might not look like much from the outside but once you'll go inside you'll change your mind. They serve pretty good sausages, they have chess/backgammon games available, and the atmosphere is just so familiar and nostalgic. Definitely a hidden gem.
