Anyone from PPPeter? He made a review on this hotel, He told us that the manager/receptionist is nice, kind, and helpful and even though its one of the worst rated hotels with bugs and disgust, the staff is nice including the mentioned manager/receptionist. So to sum it up, Just because the hotel is one of the worst rated it doesn’t mean the staff is bad.

Currently here. My brother's bed was broken. One of the slats fell off when he sat down. He actually took the time to put it back on and then it and another one both fell off. Reception is open only 3-6pm (15:00-18:00) and they do not answer their phone even during that time. According to Expedia we could store luggage but there wasn't anyone there before 3pm. Heat turned up so high we could barely breathe. Towel hook in bathroom broken. Woman at reception wasn't wearing a mask any of the three times we walked through (Hungary currently has a mask mandate for indoors and 99% of the people I've seen have been complying.) Main light in the room - only one of three bulbs works. Who knows what other joys we will discover in the next few days. **Updated to add** While writing this, one of the slats on my bed fell off.

For a short stay on a budget this place is good. 5 minutes away from two good restaurants and a supermarket and only 20 minutes walk into town. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the room I had was spacious with a nice view. Amenities are very basic but since I was spending most of my time exploring the city anyway that didn’t really matter. The bed was comfortable, the shower was decent and the towels were clean. My only criticism is that the WiFi didn’t work in my room and there was no hairdryer

Staff want to get money for everything, you want to have clean forks an knives for breakfast? pay 10 Euro extra - maybe they will wash them. If you will be late at night - nobody will answer your phone and no one will open the door for You. Accomodation only till 11 p.m. (Even when You pay extra). The people from Reception are very unnice, and people from reastaurant will try to get every single coin you have from You. Not for groups!

I stayed here for 6 nights and during this time I have been asked to move from one room to another twice. I find this unacceptable, since I've booked my room a few months in advance. Inside everything is dirty and there is a constant smells of mold in the whole building. There are spiders and spider webs, dust, and sediments on the faucet. There is little to no soundproofing. I think anyone can hear everyone on the same floor. When I have been asked to move to another room the 2nd time. They've told me that the room is ready. It was certainly not ready. There was trash and mess from previous guests and bedsheets not changed. The only decent thing about this is the location. There is a 24/7 gas station nearby in case you want something really late at night. There are grocery stores and tram/bus stations nearby. So that's ok. And at least the air conditioning is working....

Except the location everything was bad experience. We stay 5 days, no room cleaning, no clean towels, no bed change. The breakfast very poor and bad quality. Everything was dirty and the staff have no interest to help you .I really dont recommend.

I spent one week in that hotel with my now already ex girlfriend unfortunately. The staff at the reception was very kind, probably because I was speaking hungarian, I have hungarian roots. But I noticed that their english is not so good when my ex asked them something. Anyways they were honest and told us that the room we booked is the cheapest they have and on the top floor, the so called attic room. The room really looked like that, at least it had a window, so it wasn't so dark inside and the space was large enough so we could practice judo. But we were not happy with the breakfast, every day a different person was preparing it and it wasn't always good. Also the reception started working at 10.30 am, so I am glad we payed our bills in advance, so we wouldn't miss our train on the day of leaving. Our train was leaving at 8.30 and if we waited to pay on the last day, then we could miss the train. Good thing about this hotel is that everything is close, the centre of Budapest is just 3 km away and there is also a bus in case you don't like walking too much.

The best budget hotel. 5 min walk away from Pakistani Restaurant with Halal food.

Rooms are ok, could be cleaner. There is a small bathroom in each of the rooms. Breakfast is disappointing, 2 kinds of salami and one kind of cheese. The bread was stale and coffee was of the instant type. Upside is the low price.

A nice, quiet place, but below usual standards in the means of tidiness and good breakfast :) Very friendly and helpful staff with a joint restaurant/sports bar, where you can grab a beer in the evening and that serves the (underperforming and poor) breakfast. It's what you'd expect from the price range.

The rooms are moldy and dirty. There is no tank on the toilet, we had to use the shower to flush.

The place was decent. Fairly long away from the city center though. The rooms was alright, could have been better though. Do not open the windows at night as the train runs close by and make quite a bit of noise. The breakfast was fine, and the nearby restaurant we were recommended by the receptionist was very good.
