All fantastic, specially the astonishing view but quite expensive. Budapest Marriott Hotel, an iconic landmark along the Danube, captivates tourists with its stunning riverfront location. Boasting panoramic views of Buda Castle and Chain Bridge, it offers a perfect blend of luxury and convenience. The stylish rooms, adorned with modern amenities, ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel's central location allows easy exploration of Budapest's cultural gems, such as Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. Indulge in exquisite dining at their rooftop restaurant, enjoying both Hungarian and international cuisine. With attentive service and breathtaking vistas, Budapest Marriott Hotel leaves an indelible impression on every tourist's memory.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Although very unattractive from the outside the inside is just beautiful. The rooms have the most amazing views over the river. They are simplistic in style but super comfortable with a real luxurious feel. Just book it. 😊

Just got here after a very long 24 hrs. of traveling but am so pleased I write a thank you or a review immediately so I don't forget. Doorman, front desk staff, and cleaning staff world class. Professional and engaging. Kind. Quality of room and halls is impeccable, hall and room bright with high ceilings, aromas NONE!, noise NONE! (Specifically no HVAC noise, refrigerator compressor noise, rheostat noise, elevator noise, nothing.) Room perfectly maintained and clean. (No dust on any surface, no discoloration of anything. No stains, no fraying at edges of upholstery.) The view is so amazing I spent my first 20 minutes here simply staring out the window. This should be an Autograph property. Mattresses are firm. The water pressure is excellent and the water tastes good. Update one: Breakfast is included. Custom omelets. All hot American items, lots of European ones I couldn't identify. Wait staff to guest ratio was by my estimate 1 to 5. Wait staff made custom expresso drinks. Very good. If you added roast beef and roast pork stations it would have been equivalent to a Four Seasons Sunday brunch.

There were lots of cute little mice running around, and the breakfast was acceptable. I am done describing good things. There's one word to describe the main theme: rude. Some employees were nice, but most were intrusive, impolite and unprofessional — to put it mildly. An example. Once, I had a coffee in the lobby and went to pick something in my room — a lady run after me shouting that I need to get back. I explained that I will return in a minute, but did not convince her, and had to stop and pay, before I was allowed to visit my room. Another time, a waitress was angrily staring at the group of my colleagues (myself included), and we had a hard time guessing about the reason. It was later revealed that, again, she was afraid that someone might escape before paying. Another episode: a lady came to take an order. Being upset that not everyone noticed that in a noisy environment, she shouted at us something like "Please listen to me!" (I am not sure in the exact wording). And many other situations I don't want to reiterate. Just to make the experience complete, room service used some kind of very harsh air freshener which made me nauseous — I was unsure if it is possible to make them never do it again and had to keep DND sign on my door the whole week. The rooms were acceptably clean, and the shower kind of worked, so this would all justify 2-3 point review for a rural B&B or three-star chain hotel to just never come back and forget about. For something with this ambition and price three times above its worth — quite something to remember. A recommendation: avoid the hotel. It seems irreparable.

Iconic Marriott Budapest is what the brand expects out of its flagship priority. Location on the Danube river makes for incredible views of the historical sights. Rooms are high quality, but bathroom layout to strange. Toilet is behind the door. Service was good. Bell hops at the entrance are a bit too aggressive about tips. Also, I asked for some assistance with my Amazon fire stick to be told by the engineer such devices cannot be used in the hotel. After a little playing with the TV setting I was able to do it alone. Regardless is it 2022 most millennial frequent travelers use such devices and the staff should know how to assist with insulation. Room service staff was great, good menu. M Club and staff was awesome. Location a bit strange in the lobby as they converted their original executive lounge to a sky bar. Full arraign of sprites at M Club plus solid rotational menu of snacks.Sky bar is a nice place for a drink and to enjoy the view. All and all ….. Greta hotel experience!!

Great location, very nice rooms, lots of choice at breakfast. The only thing to improve is wellness. For such a hotel it’s a pity to have such a small wellness, no cooling pool just showers, 👉🏻one thick towel is provided instead of a proper textile sheet, 👉🏻entry to spa is with swimming costumes in saunas which is a tragedy 👉🏻no towels are used by guests underneath so skin is touching the surface so great we can’t see each other nipples but we sit on sweaty bench🤢 Dissatisfied with relax room which is directly opposite entry to saunas. Would welcome water fountain directly in sauna. Overall great experience but was disappointed with sauna,

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Hotel in the heart of Budapest, and it exceeded all my expectations! The view from my room overlooking the majestic Danube River was absolutely breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious options that left me thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended for a memorable and luxurious stay in Budapest!

The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. The location is perfect, and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Everything is close by walking distance. The Danube river is beautiful from the view. Reservation is easy, and there plenty of options.

World class property. The rooms are spotless. The lobby, meeting rooms, and surrounding grounds are very well maintained. The on site restaurant is world class. Pricey but very good. The service demonstrated by all employees was very good. It’s one of those properties where you will definitely feel spoiled.

From the Staff, to the rooms with extraordinary views, the cleaning ladies, the M Lounge, the roof top, the unbelievable gym, to the Service and the EXTREME daily brunch which is literally the BEST in the world! The Budapest Marriott is AMAZING!! They have beautiful conference and ballrooms for corporate or private events, too. Saw a bunch of wedding parties during our 7 day stay...So much fun! Thanks Budapest Marriott for making our trip the most memorable EVER!

Enjoyed the hotel very much. Sunday brunch is the best. I made a sloppy non-appetizing looking plate but everything on it was absolutely delicious. There’s a long line to get in so trust me it’s worth it. The river view is amazing and the rooms are extremely comfortable for work or relaxation. Breathtaking views and puts you in a space to relax and think. Hospitality was perfect. Gym was amazing. Cabs loom outside so you’ll never have to wait on one. Walking distance to everything you’d want to eat or see. It’s the perfect place in my opinion if you’re in Budapest.

If you have scored a night at this hotel, you have done well for yourself. It's right in the heart of everything, there is a shuttle train stop right in front of the hotel along the river. You can buy a ticket in the gift shop, but make sure you get there while they are open. If you don't, you'll have to get a ticket at one of the train stations. Interestingly, we bought train tickets and passes for the shuttle, but never use them nor were we asked for them. I wouldn't risk it, we just happened to notice that. The passes are also good on buses. From the hotel it's about four stops to a train that will take you across to Buddha. The shuttle also goes by the beautiful Parliament building and not far from the cathedral basilica. There's also a Starbucks in the hotel. The valet was a super nice guy. And the front desk staff was also very helpful. Our room was on the Riverside, but we could see by windows on the way to the elevator that the city view would be just as spectacular. I am really hoping we get a chance to return here. The people were so nice in the whole town and the city seems very well organized.

Most rooms have view on the river, which is amazing, especially waking up. Open the roller blinds with a button and enjoy. Oh, almost forgot: quality and complete breakfast bar. Only downside is the size of the hotel: it's not a cosy hotel. ;-)

Randomly found this place, was looking for a close rooftop bar, great views of the city in the evening, really pretty. drinks are hotel prices, slow service. Didn't stay in the hotel, cannot comment. Come here for the views.

Super spacious rooms with an amazing river view. Buda castle view is just beautiful and is accessible to Tram 1 which goes all around the city. All the important city attractions are nearby, I would say at the walking distance. Some good restaurants are nearby and is at walking distance to the famous chain bridge. I absolutely recommend this hotel in Budapest. The breakfast is also super awesome.

Nice hotel at the river bank of Danube. The building outside is not that attractive but inside is great. Friendly receptionists, clean modern rooms especially the “view” category. Nice lobby with great service. Limited place in the underground parking.

It is a great hotel with beautiful views of Budapest. The staff is very, very responsive. They were quick to get our bags from the taxi, storing them until our room was available, and getting the bags up to our room. While we waited for our room, they gave us access to the lounge which was well stocked with snacks, coffee, and other drinks. Later after we checked in, they recognized our "Elite" status with a room service delivery of cookies, freeze dried pineapple, fermented pineapple juice, and a handwritten thank you note.

It is located directly on the Danube River. It is a few minutes walking from Chain Bridge and all attractions in Budapest. View of River and Buda Castle are great. It has a wonderful restaurant with great food varieties. There is a spa and gym. At level 9, there is a sky lounge with an amazing open roof, which is open from 5 pm. I liked the 3 nights staying there. It is definitely one of the best hotels in Budapest .

Super location, convinient rooms with nice view, good modern architecture of the house providing daylight illumination even in the corridors; excellent venue for events, with good conference facilities. The international guests of our workshop we had here were amazed.

This was my second trip to the Budapest Marriott and I would not stay anywhere else. Location is prime and the views from our balcony were amazing. My wife and I got upgraded to the Presidential Suite due to my loyalty program status and it made the stay even more exceptional. The food in the M Lounge was great. This hotel serves as a weigh stop for river cruise customers at the end of their journey so depending on your arrival, your room my not be ready until late because of the sheer volume of folks awaiting rooms. This trip consisted of Prague, Venice, Lake Como and Budapest. Wife loved the Budapest segment the most and definitely wants to come back to the Marriott.

An amazing experience to stay in one of the finest hotels especially the view on the bank of River Danube is breath taking. It would be quite unfair not to mention about yummy delicious cuisine esp. the breakfast delicacies cooked salivating hot(the magical hands of Chef Patrick). Looking forward to stay here once again in Budapest.

Very nice rooms with a great view of the parliament. However, room service doesn't answer the phone. During our stay, the cleaning lady would not clean properly and covered our clothes under the sheets 😅 Very good breakfast.

We chose the Marriott because of its location but were so happy with every aspect of the hotel! The staff are extremely service oriented, the rooms are very clean and comfortable with attention to the details. The hotel is situated in a perfect location and in walking distance of many attractions. Upon arriving we were immediately upgraded to a room on the ninth floor with a view of the Buda castle and the entire riverfront. I would definitely choose this hotel again

We visited Mariott Hotel on the Hungarian "Independence" Day. We considered to join two of the public/ private parties in there. We insisted to check the atmosphere inside and to make sure that there is an available table inside. But instead of friendly welcome, we had to face hostility, violent body language and non service spirit, which you do not expect to find at a 5 stars hotel. I am still keeping the positive vision of the very beginning of the new Hebraic (Jewish) year, so that 4 instead of 3, which they actually deserve.

Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive. Can’t ask for a better spot to be stationed while exploring Budapest. And every single person who works there is wonderful, great customer service.

Great hotel with fantastic service. Breakfast definitely 5 stars. Hotel could definitely be upgraded with an inside pool and renovations to the out dated hotel exterior. A bathtub would also be great!

I stayed here during a week long work trip to Budapest and can not say enough good things about the hotel. I highly recommend getting a room with a river/castle view if it is within your budget because it is absolutely stunning. The hotel offers a large breakfast spread on the first floor every morning, which is a bit pricey but definitely worth getting if you are in a hurry before leaving the hotel.

One of the best stays I have ever had in my life. Really friendly and professional staff, comfortable and clean room, and super delicious breakfast. Internet connection is also fast enough to work. We stayed here with 2 years old kid and surprisingly there was a baby bath prepared in the bath room though we didn’t request it. My daughter really enjoyed it. Wonderful stay. The view of the city at night from the room was also beautiful. Highly recommended!

Too bad I can't give you more stars. We had our wedding here and everything was wonderful. The staff is the most kind and helpful. The chef came out especially to ask us if everything was going to be perfect. They also took all the burden off us on the big day, we were given a suite with a wonderful view as a wedding gift. The waiters never let me have an empty glass. They were equally attentive to the other guests, and we got the same feedback from all of them. The menu was also the best. The place was just perfect.

Location, customer service, room decor, bed all excellent. Air conditioning can not keep up with the hot weather we experienced during our stay. Temperatures where 93 to 96. Room never got down to a comfortable level. Average was around 77 to 73. So great hotel if weather is not extremely hot outside

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The location was perfect. Right on the river and an easy to walk to good restaurants and shopping. The room was well thought out and clean. The king bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. The breakfast was tasty and had something for everyone.

The staff interaction was wonderful! Without exception each and every staff member provided a smile and excellent service. Congratulations to the management. Job well done it hiring, training and retaining staff. One further note - the location was great and the accommodations exceeded expectations.

Generally, an excellent hotel in an excellent location. Reasonably priced rooms. Great chef/menu/food. One of the best skybars in Budapest with a view over the river to the Castle. Rooms are solid if on the small side. Improvement points in my opinion: - the outside of the hotel now looks like something from the North Korean military: URGENTLY needs cleaned/ upgraded - we were in town partially for the Formula 1. The hotel was teeming with F1 fans but - other than good quality Friday night party - did little in branding etc - linked to above, the concierge was poor ( again in our experience). Little good advice as to getting to F1, no real taxi plan/taxi priority. Generally lethargic/ uninterested disposition.

We stayed here for four nights in a corner studio suite with a glorious view of the Danube and the Buda hill. The room was spacious, reasonably well insulated from the noise of the street and very clean. The only limitation was the size of the bathroom, which was a bit too small. We did have a problem with a defective heating system in the room which was producing a brief banging noise at intervals and which made for a less than quiet night on our first day. We informed the staff who took the problem seriously and, before the second night, they sent a technician who managed to eliminate the noise almost completely. They did their best, in any case, to offer us also an alternative room, but there was really no need for us to move after the intervention of the technician and we stayed in the same room. On our last night we found a bottle of champagne, a plate of fruits and dessert as a token of apology for the trouble of the first night. This is certainly a sign that the management does care. The location of the hotel is perfect, almost everything is in walking distance. Breakfast was outstanding, a lot of choices and all of superb quality. The M lounge was offering good and varied food and drinks to the point that it replaced dinner for us for a couple of days, which is a plus. The underground parking is good, with ample parking slots, although when we arrived our reserved slot was taken by another car. In any case it was not full and we did not have any problem finding space. Bear in mind that there is no elevator from and to the car park, so if you need to load / unload the car you need to the take the stairs from the lobby or park temporarily in front of the lobby. Despite the problem of the first night it was a very pleasant experience in a well managed hotel to which we would certainly go back to in case we were in Budapest again.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was excellent, personnel very nice, comfortable bed, great lication. Just be wary of the upper floor rooms facing west. The A/C could not keep up and the room warmer than we would have liked even with the shades down all day.

This Marriott has a great location as it has a view of the Duna and is close to most of the city activities and attractions. Rooms are clean and you are provided with the basics. The staff are polite but don't expect anything more than that. In the event you arrive early be prepared to have a bit of a wait. Parking is pretty expensive but it is convenient.

Although the outside look of the hotel is not attractive but from inside it’s magnificent. The staffs were very friendly. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Very comfortable beds & great food selection!!!

Loved this hotel. Great location right along the Danube River. Easy access to public trams or taxis to go see other famous sites like the parliament building, St. Stephen's, or the city center. There were several restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance and a huge shopping district on the street immediately behind the hotel. It was also easy to line up sightseeing tours of the city from the front desk. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The staff was friendly and spoke great English, which was helpful when we were trying to work out details of our transfer to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel and staff! really enjoyed our stay. From the time of arrival through to departure the staff were extremely courteous and hospitable. This hotel has really nice rooms and access to the club lounge was very good. The hotel is also in such a great location. Thank you to Arne & Laura G for the welcome and looking forward to my next stay!

Very nice hotel with a corporate feel in the heart of Istanbul. The room was decent, good size and felt fresh. The lounge was a separate area in the lobby and offered a good selection of food and beverages with friendly stay helping guests out. It was just disappointing to see how badly some guests behaved, grabbing all of the food available, taking it to their rooms, leaving heaps of trash on the tables and pretty much ruining the experience for others. Breakfast was good, service nice overall, and the location and views excellent.

I recently stayed at the Marriott hotel in Budapest and it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, the level of service and attention to detail was exceptional. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! One of the standout features of the hotel was the breathtaking views of the Danube river from my room. It was truly a sight to behold and made my stay that much more special. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Another great feature was the underground garage with car rental and car wash services. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city without having to worry about parking or navigating public transportation. The laundry service was also top-notch and made my stay much more convenient. The location of the hotel was perfect for me as well. It was within walking distance of many shops and nearby lime scooters, which made it easy to explore the city at my leisure. The platinum breakfast and platinum member lounge were both amazing, with appetizers at night that were enough to replace dinner. The gym was also unreal and very modern, with everything I needed for a great workout. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Marriott hotel in Budapest and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel in the city. From the views to the amenities to the service, everything about this hotel was exceptional. I cannot wait to stay here again on my next visit to Budapest!
