Despite having a confirmed reservation for dinner, made 12 days in advance, we were seated at the worst and most uncomfortable table which was right by the entrance door opposite the reception desk. There were always people around that table, people comming and leaving as well as cold air blows from from the entrance. We actually wanted to have dinner (at least one bottle of wine and 3 courses per person) but it wouldn't be a pleasure at such a table. So we went to the bar and searched the internet for a restaurant that treats its guests well, and left this one quickly. Due to its unprofessional handling of reservations, this restaurant recommends itself only as a place for a cheap drink. To be recommended for more than just cheap drinks, the establishment must learn to respect guests again. Visited in January 2023.

Fantastic place and drinks. Went for some nice drinks for my birthday with a party of 9 on a Sunday. Easily booked a table via website. Staff on the door polite and professional, showed us where we were going. A very nice bottle of wine recommended to us and a variety of cocktails enjoyed. Was lovely and warm inside and went outside to enjoy the views and a few pictures. Would definitely recommend.

It’s a fine rooftop bar close to the Basilica so you’ll get a nice view for sure. They have inside and outside parts and as I understand a private patio either for hotel residents (it’s a part of the hotel) or for rent. You should definitely try their signature drinks, ask for a separate menu. Each drink has a name of the Budapest landmark. For food me and my friend tried their burger which was juicy and delicious. Of course, like all other similar places, it’s going to be more expensive than usual. It’s better to book it in advance:)

Everything was amazing from the extraordinary view to the drinks and food buuuuut we were told by the hostess that we could only stay until 7:30 even though our rsv was at 6:30. Their excuse was that they just got a private party at 8👎🏼

One of the most beautiful rooftops I have been to, absolutely magical! Every little thing is down to the detail, pure perfection. Staff is super welcoming, I hope I will get a chance to go there again.

Really the best rooftop ever seen, such a nice location. Tried cheesecake and fruit juice, really tasty. Workers are so kind and helpful. A bit over priced, but it’s because is one of the best hotel in Budapest. . Thanks 🙏

Excellent cocktail bar with a view on the basilica We haven’t tried the food, only cocktails that were really nice !! A bit expensive but we know that on a rooftop we will pay for the view .. 10-15€ for on cocktail + 15% service Staff is friendly Make a reservation in advance

Very good food and atmosphere, lovely views of Budapest. A little pricey but the quality and variety of offerings more than made up for it. Will definitely visit again

A beautiful spot for drinks with the best view! We visited the other night, had an indoor table but still had a perfect view of the Basilica. This place is SO nice and the drinks were really good too. We tried some of their cocktails from the menu which were really fun and also requested some off the menu which they were more than happy to make - best passion fruit mojito ever!! The staff were super friendly and the whole vibe of the place was so good! Sometimes rooftops can be a bit showy but the drinks and service do it all. Would 100% recommend and revisit this beautiful spot!

Amazing sky bar in the heart of the Budapest. A bit pricey but definitely worth it! A panoramic view opens from the roof (especially breathtaking at night). The hotel where it is located is extremely fashionable and fancy. So if you want to see the Budapest from the height it is better to enjoy a drink or two at this place rather than climbing St. Stephan’s Basilica

Super nice, good food, friendly staff, lovely views. Book in advance or you will have a hard time getting a table. For the best view the panorama tower is the way to go, but the minimum consumption cost per hour might make it the best choice for a party of 4-6 persons. The terrace is the chill place, best for drinks and snacks. After sunset also for eating, but make sure you tell them that you will dine when booking, or the high tables suitable for this might be taken. The patio will be your choice for bigger parties or dining before sunset if you want to have some shadow (there is no shadow at all at the terrace or tower).

This place was recommended to us and it was quite nice. We ordered two cocktails and the cold meats and cheese starter, this came to £30 which was quite extortionate considering how small the starter was too! The views were lovely and we even got given blankets when it got a bit chilly which was a nice touch. The only annoying thing is from the beginning we asked to move we weren’t able too because they were ‘fully booked’. The table next to us asked to move inside so there was a high table spare yet we were told that was fully booked too which makes no sense? We asked if we could move to the table on the far right of the second photo and were told that was fully booked however we stayed for 2 hours and no one sat there. We asked the lady if she could tell us if a seat became available but she never did. Before we left I took the photo of picture 2 which displays multiple high seats free but we were never able to move which was a shame. They were empty for over an hour too. Would’ve been better if the staff were more attentive.

This place is breathtaking. From the lobby all the way to the rooftop you will be greeted with large beautiful smiles . Everyone that works there is so nice and the service is just incredible. You will enjoy the view as well as the drinks that they offer there which are delicious.

Great rooftop bar with nice views of the St. Stephen's Basilica. Made a reservation which was confirmed downstairs and the hostess walked us to the elevator before we were greeted by another hostess who seated us. The waitress stopped by immediately with menus and didn't hover, allowing us to decide what we wanted to order without any pressure. She came back relatively quickly after we closed our menus which proved she was attentive and kept an eye on us. Ordered a couple of the beers which were very reasonably priced for a rooftop bar. We also had the olives and the meat & cheese board. Both were tasty and a great snack before our dinner reservations. We had reservations for 18:00 and stayed until 20:40. At no point were the staff rushing to kick us out and we were able to enjoy the sunset despite our reservation noting that we had about one hour. Great service, beers, snacks and prices!

We waited a few minutes until the doorman took us to the elevator and from there, the host took us to our our sits excellent view to Budapest rooftop. The waiter was kind and had a great knowledge about alcohol and recommended for us on the right cocktail. I also ordered the tartar and it was great. I highly recommend to make a reservation for a table during the sunset.

Pros: Excellent food, the best restaurant we've been to in Budapest (excluding Michelin-starred restaurants) Delicious cocktails The place is beautifully designed, and the view is amazing Excellent service Cons: The prices are very high, especially compared to other good restaurants in Budapest You have to book a table in advance Overall: The place is quite high-end, and as such is suitable for celebrating special occasions or romantic evenings. Not suitable as a restaurant to eat at on a daily basis, but definitely a great restaurant when you want to indulge yourself or splurge.

Excellent rooftop terrace with high class vibes. Cocktails are expertly prepared and the food is tasty as well. Friday and Saturday nights no doubt a hotspot for cocktail dress donning high heeled beauties.

Great place to visit , the view is stunning so it is a nice place for a date and to have something special to drink. The menu changes quite often so the guys keep it exciting. They also offer food, but we have not tried that yet. The staff is really polite and organised, they do not talk much but this is not what you go there for. Thanks for the great time we had. Oh and you better book a table ;)

Top notch drinks with one of the best views in the city! The drink menu is truly something else, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely a pricier bar than most in the area, but it’s so worth it for the experience. A must see if you’re in Budapest, especially at sunset.

Situated on top of a hotel with great views of the cathedral. Prices are on the higher side but probably justified for the atmosphere and the ambience. We just had drinks. The waitress mixed up our order but she was very apologetic about that and ended up removing that item from the bill. Great place for a date night.

We had a lovely evening at the High Note. we started with a few drinks out on the terrace overlooking the Basilica. It was night so the church was lit up and looked amazing. It got slightly cool so we asked to be moved in for some food which after about 20 minutes they managed to accommodate which we were very grateful for. The food was great, really tasty and the service was quick and polite (Hungarians are such a wonderfully polite nation, we always felt so welcome wherever we went and this was no exception). Great cocktail list, shame we could not sample more but hopefully we will be back one day.

It is a lovely place. Beautiful view and extraordinary beautiful atmosphere. On top there are 2 places for vip. There is a terase and there is space inside as well. Everything is made high standards and luxurious, beside the bathrooms that are tiny and when you wash your hands you feel everyone looks as you and there can only be 1 pers at a time using it. The food delicious, fine dining kinda so small portions. The staff really nice, welcoming and helpful. Very pricey place (for 2 people we paid 48000HUF aprox 126€ for 2 drinks and 2 tiny portions of feed) as I left a little bit hungry but it's worth it for the experience and the high standards services.

Did a walk-in in the afternoon and they escorted me up right away to the rooftop. Upon arrival, I was greeted enthusiastically by the hostess and the bartender. Ordered a Gold Rush cocktail (consisting of bourbon, mez, and honey). The mixologist, Soma, was incredibly insightful on every drink, taking the time to explain to me its specialty, as well as giving me personal flavor taste tests. This is what a bar should be! Loved the views of the city as well. Spectacular during the sunset. Def will come back here again to sample future drinks.

Fabulous rooftop bar, literally right beside the basilica (note that there's no shade and it can get very hot!). Nice drink and food menu, though not surprisingly it's a bit pricey. Staff were all gracious and lovely. Fabulous experience, highly recommended.

Great roof top bar. Cocktails and food is great. View is outstanding. Prices are a bit high, but value worth the premium. Great place for a summer night out with your loved one. Better to make a reservation before coming.

Amazing location, cocktails are worth the travel alone though, very friendly bartenders, Balint and Huba were amazing to watch, fun and entertaining. Most of all REALLY good drinks. They know their stuff! Thanks for the amazing vibes

Probably the best and nicest cocktailbar I ever visited. Place scores a 10/10 on all levels: - friendliness: from the people at reception downstairs in the lobby, to the people upstairs serving the drinks, to the blonde lady that seemed to be managing the place upstairs. - interior: really nicely designed interior, both downstairs and upstairs. Comfy seats and tables. - view: great view on the St. Stephens Basilica - cocktails: most important of all: their signature cocktails which are super original and unique and brought with a well told story in a video menu box and original packaging: "Straight Outta Compton"-Cocktail in a brown bag, "Rio"-cocktail in a colourfull paper lantern, "K-pop"-cocktail with a flashing LED cup holder,... In short they're on top of their marketing game :-) Highly recommend it!

Amazing spot, right in the city center and with amazing views of the Basilica. We did a last-minute reservation online for my birthday & the staff was super friendly and even brought us some macaroons and candles to celebrate. They have plenty of drink options and very nice cocktails - they are on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Cannot recommend enough!

View and the interior is excellent. That is the major attraction. Food is nice, but value for money are tailor made for tourists. Which is fine just manage your expectation for this part. They are using tap water for the tea, which in my book below standard for a place like this. This means minus one star.

Highly Recommended- but make an effort in your Style! It’s a sophisticated Rooftop Bar and for the rooftop cool spots has a minimal €150 spend. - lots of levels and prefect date place too.

Rooftop bar with an amazing view of the city. Better to come at sunset and reserve a table ahead. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful as well, with a piano style floor and a very impressive piano that sometimes they have someone to play live music there. We didn't get to hear any live music so I will need to go again :) 🎶❤️

Nice rooftop bar with a direkt view of the basilica. You should reserve a spot outside in the evening though. Prices are high for the drinks - you pay the view, obviously.

The staff was rather disappointing. First, we had to remind them that we had been waiting for the cold platter for more than 20 minutes already (just a few other guests, no busy hours). Later, when paying, an arrogant waiter came, stood there with a creepy smile, saying not even a word, he just pushed the card terminal under my nose to pay (and making us feel to leave asap). It's a pity, because the cocktails and the place itself were great.
