Don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself is stunning but I’m giving it a one star because of the treatment we got on arrival to the hotel. There’s a security individual who literally blocked us from entering the hotel and was asking us what business we had doing there. Never in my life have I been asked that. It’s a hotel - there’s also a restaurant & bar too.. there could be many reasons for people to enter the hotel… He stepped in front of us and gave us a look as if we were undeserving to be there. Very unfortunate as this hotel is stunning but they should hire staff that know how to service people and not make them feel bad. Hope your experience is better here!…

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest and was blown away by the decor and architecture of the hotel. The serene feeling of the hotel was just what I needed to relax and unwind. The attention to detail and level of service provided by the staff was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome amenities waiting in our room. The location in front of Danube river and the breathtaking views from the balcony were just Wow! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Budapest

Fabulous hotel. Room large enough for my wife and I and 18 year old daughter. View over the river towards the castle from the room was brilliant. Excellent breakfasts and very good small bites area. The spa area and gym are top notch and despite hotel being busy relatively empty. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed by our three night stay here, especially as this location is recommended as one of the best places to stay in Budapest. On two separate occasions the restaurants which the hotel made reservations for us (and confirmed same) had no record of our reservation nor any record of the hotel calling and confirming/requesting same, leaving two nights of our travel ruined. The rooms also were very hot and the AC did not work to cool down the room, resulting in us not being able to sleep any of the nights and waking up in puddles of sweat. In addition, the included breakfast was abysmal, and during each meal the servers attempted to take our food while we were eating, despite us indicating we were still eating. Not sure how this hotel could be regarded with such a high reputation when the property is not managed to four seasons standards.

Everyone here was very nice and accommodating. It is in a prime location for all there is to see and do in Budapest. The spa amenities are fantastic. We loved the pool area. The rooms have great little balconies. I look forward to visiting again.

Be aware that their suites are all junior suites without separate living room except for Presidential suite . And the pics of the suite also misleading. This four four seasons hotel shall be transparent about its suite is actually a junior suite with sitting area and bed in the same room . First four seasons hotel I am not happy about out of more than one dozen four seasons hotels I have stayed around the globe.

Spectacular hotel in the heart of Budapest! You won’t find a more friendly and helpful staff… From arranging my arrival transfer, till my check-out, people at Four Seasons were just perfect! Also, I had a wonderful view from my suite.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Sumptuous breakfast, above-par guest relations. Light music at the bar every evening, was very relaxing. Very centrally located.

I am not staying here, so i can't comment on the rooms, but I hear they are beautiful. I just popped in for a cocktail in the bar in the lobby. It's known for its cocktails and atmosphere. It's a great place to start your evening. The staff are lovely, and the cocktails are yummy. It really does have a great atmosphere and is so central. Lot of restaurants all around. Parson the photo, I took it very early in the day and the place was still very quiet.

A beautiful hotel! We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right across from the Chain bridge and within walking distance to all of the main attractions. The bed was super comfy, housekeeping did a fantastic job and we also loved the pool/sauna/hot tub. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Budapest.

We just spent 4 nights at the Four Seasons, Budapest and loved every moment of it. The hotel is stunning, our room was beautiful, the food was great, the location is excellent and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. In particular, a big thank you to Karoly on Reception who was outstanding. We will be recommending this hotel to all our friends. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

All I can say about this is WOW. We had a meal at the Gresham inside the four seasons followed by cocktails at the bar and the experience was amazing the food was incredible and the price for what we had was really really good 5 course meal and drinks including cocktails for three people came to around £300 or just under. If you can go definitely go.

Just come for dinner downstairs. Service not feeling 5 star luxury (calm relax) but functionally busy and got to enjoy the energy of late night in the heart of city. Foie gra is fantastic. The best i ever have! Half price of high quality food you can get compare from New York and Boston.

The hotel was probably the only thing I liked about the city. Great bar with excellent evening live music. Spotless rooms, customer service was top notch, they truly go the extra mile. Cannot praise them enough.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's stunning decor, which perfectly captures the beauty and grandeur of Budapest's past while also incorporating modern touches. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable. Situated right on the banks of the Danube River, the views are absolutely breathtaking. I found myself spending hours just admiring the scenery from my room's balcony. But what really sets the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace apart is the attention to detail and level of service provided by the staff. Every member of the team was unfailingly hospitable and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The staff's professionalism and training were evident in every interaction, and it was clear that they take great pride in their work. The hotel's approach to guest satisfaction is truly outstanding. From the welcome amenities waiting in my room to the personalized recommendations provided by the concierge, I felt that every aspect of my stay had been thoughtfully considered and tailored to my needs. In short, I cannot recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace highly enough. If you are looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Budapest, look no further than this exquisite hotel.

The best ( and one of the handful) of Hotels that offer a dedicated Cigar Bar. The place is Al Fresco and faces the Danube. Great service, excellent drinks. Overall worth a stop on a warm Budapest afternoon

We had an incredible stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the service is on the same level. It is an excellent hotel from top to bottom. Aaron and Adam at the bar really take mixology to another level.

As you would expect from a world renowned place such as the four seasons, the service was world class. Every Four Season’s we stay at we are consistently impressed with the standard of excellence the staff holds themselves to. The concierge was incredibly helpful, organizing excursions, providing recommendations, and general knowledge of the city itself. The hotel itself is beautiful, the restaurant is fantastic. We had a view of the Danube River, everything was perfect. Special thank you to the staff for making our stay so wonderful!

This hotel provides everything you can expect from a luxury 5-star hotel. It has a great location facing the Chain Bridge on the Pest side, with views over the Danube and the Royal Castle at the other side of the river. But what makes it truly unforgettable is its meticulously renovated Art Nouveau style building.

My favorite hotel in Budapest. I have stayed here a couple times and each time my experience was amazing. The staff bend over backwards to comfort their guests and ensure that each guest has a terrific experience. The breakfast and room service is top quality. I will be back soon!

We had an outstanding stay at the Four Seasons Budapest. The service was excellent. They ensure we had everything we requested and even anticipated our needs. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The location is the best in Budapest. The Manager, Federico Giovine is the BEST.

Great hotel! The service, the food, the attention to detail, the beds, excellent! We were there for my birthday and they left cakes (in both rooms we had as we changed because of people smoking in the room next to ours when they shouldn't) the barman also brought one with a sparkler and then during breakfast! We went to the baths and they had spa bags with everything you need ready for you. Loved it!

Amazing experience as always . We are visiting from London and we know how amazing these hotels, restaurants and bars are. We can’t thank enough for our waiter Susana she was outstanding with her performance at serving us. She was very friendly , helpful and quite experienced at her job. Highly recommended this place . Over all brilliant place to have cocktails with food. Thank you ! Best Agne & James

Purely regal and first rate service which after a boat trip is well deserved. REWARD YOURSELF. Its affordable luxury. The concierge service is a cut above other hotels. The Front desk is warm and inviting. Many hotels could learn from this regal experience on the Danube. Out of 4 countries this hotel was NUMBER ONE even more imperial than the other one.

One of the nicer four seasons in the world. Service is extra attentive. Concierge was very helpful prior to the trip, which made the overall experience better. This is clearly the best hotel in Budapest.

The hotel is stunning, and I am pleased that despite the passing years, it has not lost its charm like many places in Budapest that I remember from years ago. The staff is kind and attentive, and the food is excellent. On social media, I saw that beautiful cards are given as a welcome gesture. Unfortunately, we did not receive one. It is a small detail, of course, but it seems to me that when influencers visit a hotel, there is much greater attention to such details :-)

10/10! The hotel itself is gorgeous and I was upgraded to an amazing room with an amazing view. I really enjoyed the stay. As well the property staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. They were also very kind to my dog who joined me and provided her a great set up. Thank you for having us!

This hotel was absolutely stunning from the main lobby to the rooms. I stayed around Christmas Time and it was so exiting to be greeted by icing and candy to decorate some homemade gingerbread. The staff were amazing and very kind, overall one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Built in 1906 and entirely renovated in 2004, Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest enjoys an incomparable location in front of the Chain Bridge, offering luxury units, an infinity-edge pool, a fitness room and a restaurant and bar. All rooms and spacious suites offer iPod Docking Station, satellite TV, wired and wireless internet connection and marble-covered bathrooms with a spacious bath or a shower cabin. Most of the suites are provided with a further guest bathroom and some of the rooms also feature a step-out balcony with panoramic views of the Danube River and the Castle Hill.

disappointing for a hotel of this class. The Caesars salad was carelessly marinated, the chicken was dry and cold. Finally, a disappointingly mixed espresso martini was served that lacked everything that makes it special.

Be aware that the bridge in front of the hotel is under construction, so the only view you get is a blue wall and machines. I think they should put that information on their website. The reason a booked was for the view and I was absolutely disappointment. The room was nice nothing spectacular of course no view, the restaurant fair. I will definitely will no stay here again.

Stopped here for a drink before a concert. Service is very kind and attentive. The cocktail was very good. The details of the building and the interior design appreciated. The Illumination was the only part I did not like. Too dark.

First I would like to start with Kitty at the front desk who made check in so smooth and easy. Not only that but she was friendly and very helpful after a long flight. After Turkish Air lost my luggage and Ana coordinating my ride to the airport to pick up my partner + see if my luggage was there I came back to champagne waiting for us with a hand written note. Kitty and Ana are one of the best parts of staying here at this beautiful hotel. I hope Ana and Kitty get the the recognition they deserve for the attention to detail and customer service they deliver. Thank you so much for making this one of the most memorable stays at four seasons

This is a beautiful old palace converted into the fancy current Four Seasons hotel in Budapest. The location is wonderful for walking and getting around the town. It's directly across from the bridge linking Buda and Pest so you can explore and is within an easy walk to Parliament and tons of dining and shopping. We were here during the holidays and easily found a Christmas Market just a block from our hotel. The entry into the hotel is stunning and I loved the details of the old world like the elevator that looks (and probably is) 300 years old to the wonderful staff who took care of us in the rooms. I enjoyed the pool and spa amenities one night on the roof level (indoor) while here and it was very relaxing. Breakfast was included in our package and we also ordered room service for dinner one night and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend if you are in the area that this is the hotel you book!

Best hotel in town...by far. All here is 😍. Perfect rooms, top spa , delicious restaurant, talented barmen, clefs d'or concierge...and a breakfast to die for. Price are sky high but that's the price for excellence.

The Four Seasons Hotel in Budapest is situated in a magnificently renovated Art Nouveau building that was built in the early 20th century. Even if you're not staying there as a guest, go for a drink in the lobby and soak in the splendor. It's beautiful, peaceful and grand without being ostentatious.

The bar, the bar! We walked in late one night a couple of weeks ago, just to check out the bar. First the bar at night is gorgeous! The lighting, the fixtures, the bar and it’s ambiance is worth the experience by itself. It’s like stepping into an earlier time. The bartender was a first rate professional, not just competent but just a little flash to add to the experience. And, the waitstaff was great, ours very quickly cleaned up my mess and brought me a fresh drink when I knocked over my drink. We ordered Gin and Tonics, they were delivered with grapefruit slices which was a surprise but if you’ve never had one - It is great! We had several they were sooo good. I can’t recommend this gorgeous place highly enough!

I have the good fortune to stay at this magnificent hotel right before Covid! The architecture of this hotel is just so beautiful! The perfect starting point for a Danube river cruise! And the Hungarian breakfast is also very delicious😋

It was fantastic! My son and I went for traditional tea and The Four Seasons did not disappoint. The building is gorgeous and the tea cakes were tasty. I absolutely love that they use a traditional Herend service. My only criticism would be that they didn’t have any petite fours, mini scones with clotted cream or cucumber sandwiches. The meal was very tasty nonetheless.

Absolutely fabulous from check-in to check out. First, our driver Thomas was so friendly and informative as he picked us up (arranged by the hotel) from the port where we docked from our river cruise. He drove us around pointing things out as we headed to the hotel. We were greeted at the front door, bags taken in for us and Kitty walked us to the front desk to check us in. The lobby is breath taking as is the bar area. We stayed on the fifth floor near the spa where had appointments set for the afternoon. The spa and pool areas were beautiful and relaxing and the services there were fantastic. Our room was beautiful with a view across the river. We knew the bridge was under construction which was no big deal, we’ll come see it on another trip. The room was very comfortable and some of the softest sheets I’ve ever had. We went down to the bar around 4:30 and Annette was incredible. We had followed their instagram and seen the amazing drinks they make and she had great recommendations. She was also so friendly to talk to and learn more about the area. We also had dinner there at Kollazs and it was amazing. (That review is posted separately). Overall we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more between the friendly staff and beautiful building. We walked everywhere around the hotel and really enjoyed our first trip to Budapest. We will definitely return and stay here again.

The price and quality of the hotel was amazing! Budget friendly block of apartments in the best area of the city center. Cute streets and places around, walking distance everywhere. New and super clean amenities. The only downside was that our doorbell was places 1 centimetre from the light switch so people tended to press our doorbell more often than the light switch. Also the member of staff that was checking us in at the reception was very knowledgeable and prepared/trained for the frequently asked questions by guests and answered pretty much all our question without us having to ask!

Went there for some drinks for a friend's birthday. The place was beautiful from the outside. Interiors were fine too. But all in all very full vibe even during Christmas. The place was classy so if you have a bit cheery and fun place in mind this is not the right place. Although for a cute date you may want to check it out.

We only used the bar to be indoors and out of the rain. I'm sure glad we stopped in here and picked the restaurant bar. From there we had great drinks and opportunities to continue people watching around the busy intersection just outside. We chose from their top-of-the-line cocktails which are classics with some modern improvements. We also had a dessert that was fabulous. The bartenders are experts in the trade and carry on fun conversations. It's worthwhile to stop here just to witness the glorious interior of this historic building.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your resort. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I'm sure! Great experience.. the hotel staff are professional and friendly. Specially the concierge team Anna and Zoltan.

The hotel is amazing, location is great. Usually restaurant as well. However breakfast offerings and service feels as if 4Seasons got a bit lazy with the brand… the menu was OK but nothing extra, food so-so especially missed the wow effect I would have expected at this place and pricing. Waiters were kind but super slow - had to ask multiple times to be able to order, and they even forgot some part of the order. Overall was still OKish but as Four Seasons I know you can do way better than this!
