The hotel was lovely. It is a great location, close to everything in the heart of Budapest. The staff was very helpful with all of our queries regarding our baby girl. Everybody went above and beyond to make our stay great. The breakfast was really good, great selection of hot and cold food, pastries and really good coffee. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable.

The hotel was good. The only negative point I have is the check-out. The check-out is at 12 noon. Unfortunately, the cleaning lady wanted to clean my room before 12. She barely spoke English and called the reception for this problem. The only word she could say was 'reception' and the gesture to call them. Reception didn't understand the situation at first. The cleaning lady stood there watching me packing my stuff and leaving my room. It was before 10am. I was confused and felt forced to leave so I left the hotel.

An hotel in the heart of Budapest. Excellent location, you can walk almost everywhere. The hotel is designed in the style of a computer game, including the rooms, corridors and even the bathroom. The hotel itself is very basic and suitable for those who are not looking for luxury, but an orderly, comfortable and very clean place. The room has a comfortable bed, with two shelves on both sides, a table, a small closet and a safe. The breakfast is also basic. The service is very kind. The place looks well maintained and very clean.

Lower than international Ibis standards. There is no mini bar in the rooms, neither a complimentary water to quench your thirst in the middle of night. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel, as it was delicious.

Great base to start exploring Budapest. My room was small, but with big, and comfortable bed. One minus for me, was lack of chair in the room. To hotel management, maybe consider changing this pillow sack on the floor for a chair. It was very not practical to sit on it, and be comfortable. Big plus was a waffle maker during breakfast buffet, and free coffee & tea facilities in the hotel lobby. Was great 👍 to use for everybody who's staying in this place. So lack of kettle in the room, wasn't noticeable. Overall great experience while staying in this hotel. In the future, I'll consider staying here again ;)

We had a very enjoyable stay in a quiet room (as requested) on comfortable beds. Metro stations and train station are very close by along with convenience shops. New York Cafe is a block away. The complementary coffee machine in the lobby was appreciated as was the varied selection at the Breakfast buffet. I felt I had the choice of an American style breakfast with the waffle maker being available or a more European breakfast of cold cuts and cheese and breads. The day staff was very friendly and accommodating but the night staff was not as professional.

Hotel is ok.Two of us were staying in a double room-which was really small, but manageable for a couple of days. We chose inner cortyard wiew, because the hotel is situated in a busy street-so it was quiet-but no wiew. Breakfast was included and it was nice, lots of options to choose from. Staff was very kind. Hygiene in the hotel can be a bit better. Location is not in the walking distance from the river bank and tourist atractions, but it is well connected by public transport.

Room was quite dirty and small, there was hair found on the bedsheets as well as on the towels which were supposed to brand new and clean. There were limited breakfast options as well. Air conditioning didn’t work at all as well.

A lovely, small hotel, interesting and modern furniture and design, the writings on the walls and on the mirror in the bathroom put me in the good mood. Breakfast was good, wine and beer in the lobby at reasonable prices. I liked staying there.

The floor was dusty, breakfast was poor, entrance of the hotel is not clean. I assume the being dirty is general problem for Budapest. But bathroom and bed was clean and location is very good. Update ; at least they are caring our opinions this is nice ! Also the staff was very friendly.

Great place - clean, cosy, quiet, good breakfast. Shower has a good pressure and proper hot water. Good, strong free wifi! Half an hours walk to City Park/Folklore museum one way, the other way half an hours walk to city center - Danube/Parliament, bit further along Central market etc. But above else it is the staff that made our stay easy/comfortable/enjoyable - they are welcoming/porfessional, absolute stars for running everything efficiently.

The hotel was in a very good location, you can go to nearby places and visit some of the city's sights quite easily. As for the room it was beautiful and well insulated, I didn't even use the air conditioner as it was warm enough. I would really like to have a small fridge in my room though. And my sofa-bed was a little bit uncomfortable. The breakfast choices were many and each of them delicious and the staff working at the buffet were very kind and polite. The receptionists were also very helpful, polite, kind and friendly. Especially Màrk and Tímea with whom I spoke a little bit longer. I also really liked that very sweet girl Tamara, I really felt like she is a friend of mine. She was smiley and very kind and I am really glad I met her. Keep up the good work.

Fine breakfast buffet! You can ask for hotdogs, if they are not put out. The staff is very friendly. It is right across Novotel on Rakoczy Boulevard. You can get a Buffet Breakfast, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

I am shocked how dirty this place is for paying almost 100€/night. Hair and all sorts of crumbs under the sheets, dirty bathroom appliances, dusty room, broken door … Absolutely disappointed and not worth the money!

Very near to the center(15-20 minutes by walking)...the same to the bus P100 that brings you from the airport...metro station near by...Value for money...Strongly recommended

i was expecting a bit more from Ibis actually. had to wait until 1:30 to get my room, after a long flight - still ok - the rooms are not that great but fine. yes, clean no issues, but the rooms are too small for the amount we paid.

We paid extra for a larger room but only realised we were given the standard small one when we saw into the room across the hall on the way to check out. Didn't bother saying anything as pointless now leaving. Room clean, had a good night rest.

It was warm welcome from staff of Ibis, Budapest. They guide us for attraction and near by shops. It was a nice experience with Ibis.

Nice hotel, in the center of Budapest. Parking is not directly at the hotel but you can park in the garage on the next street. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was also good. We were satisfied.

Affordable hotel for our 5 days in Budapest. Staff were helpful and nice. Room was cool (in a hot summer) and clean, though a little small. Breakfast did the trick. It was a good location for walking from or catching transit to get to the sites. We would stay again no problem. Give how little time we were at the hotel, we didn't need to spend money on anything fancier. Simple, clean, accessible.

I just can't understand how this hotel has 3 stars. The room itself was filthy for three star hotel. Right from the enterance you could see some white stains on the dark carpet, tiles were stained with I don't know what in corners, there was layer of dust on reachable places in the bathroom, stains on the bedding etc. The towels were the worst. After unfolding them you could see big stains everywhere - this was the story for 2 out of 4 towels. Before leaving I went to check around the bed and under it to see if we didn't forget anything and found things someone else left there! Breakfast was okay, I'm not sure about the quality of ham but there is big range of things you can eat instead - look out for dirty cutlery.

Three star, no more. Should be more care inside rooms and elevators and also in front of hotel. Breakfast was just usual.

The best quality of this accomodation is its location in Pest. Maximum 2k to every tourist attraction. Good service, clean rooms and an ok breakfast.

The rooms are great, they have two elevators so you don't have to wait long if there is a lot of people coming in and going out. Breakfast is really good and they have variety, the rooms are really well decorated and interesting, they do have really nice bathrooms that are adjusted for people with disabilities as well, you can really see they though of their guests. The staff is super nice and would stay here anytime a year.

Really satisfied with our stay. To begin with at a good price. The location, not so central, but right next to stops for tram, metro and busses. Minimal esthetics, modern but not too much, keeping it warm and hospitable. Small room but convenient. Breakfast buffet: not an endless selection, but had enough of a variety for all tastes. Had no kids with us, but a could see various items that could make their stay a bit more interesting and tasteful. I can say I was positively surprised and I would easily recommend it, fit a business or tourist visit to town

Good location, it’s a easy walk to the Jewish area and the ruin bars. It’s slightly further, but very manageable, to the river. Breakfast was fine. Nothing special, but provided all the necessary basics.

I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. Overall had a very comfortable. One morning we had issue with heating and hot water. I reported to receptionist Timea and she was highly responsive and helped fix the issues on priority. She was also ready to change our room and ensured our stay is comfortable. Thank you Timea and team for a great stay. I hope to stay with you again on my next trip as well.

Loved the stay and breakfast buffet especially the croissants. Located close to tram station and close to the Danube river, easy access to prominent tourist locations.

Rooms could be more clean, they Leo taking away the plastic bags in the trash bins and we didnt get a new sanitary bag after first night of four, there were a broken clothehanger on the floor in the wardrobe when we arrived+four days so no maid cleaned the floor before/during stay. We booked because breakfast looked great in the pictures, but it was actually dissapointing and made us book breakfast elsewhere after two days of our stay.

I was looking for the airport hotel but because was fully booked I got on this hotel page. The price was 80€ but when I paid was 127€( fees for cleaning, etc). I canceled the reservation in 5 minutes but was not refundable, not even the fees. I don’t understand the supplementary tax and why it’s not included.

The location is really good, there is a metro station, bus stop and a supermarket (Lidl) 2 minutes from the hotel, the city center (st. Stephen, Danube, shopping area also,... ) is a walking distance about 25 minutes and it is near to the famous "Ruin bars" and the Jewish synagogue(aprox. 15 min). Though, the room is really small, the water was just warm (not like hot), no shower curtains, inefficient lightning, and without sound insulation - we could literally hear the people next door breathing. We stayed for a business meeting in the hotel, and could not work due to the noise from other rooms and the lighting. But the meeting room was more good than expected. Breakfast was good, many choices, but nothing exceptional. The staff was really nice and helpful.

First of all, we found the hotel services to be excellent, personnel was very helpful, everyone was smiling. We would like to thank Robert from the reception, who was always willing to help and had a very kind and professional attitude, he is doing a great job. The location is great, right on the main street, with acces to various transportation means. We really appreciate that we requested for a room that does not face the main street and that the hotel fulfilled our request. The room was very colorful and warm and it was perfect for out two nights stay. Totally recomend this hotel, we had a great experience!
