Booked by a friend for us on Air BnB. Great location and SPAR just downstairs. 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms. Slightly older bulding, interior decor and facilities but clean. Ok for a short stay. Max occupancy 6-7 ppl. Very good price for location and facilities. Free Wifi available

I don`t usually leave 1 star reviews but here i must! Don`t recommend at all if you want to enjoy Budapest! Arrived before 11PM had to wait nearly one hour outside to get in. Apparently, there is no reception just person coming in and out. When was greeted, l was obviously not pleased with me staying outside for 1 hour during night time in unknown city, plus was told because I`m checking in after 11 I have to pay 10 euros extra which is just unacceptable as I`ve arrived before and there was noone. When i started to prove that i was there before 11 i was grabbed by hand and pulled with words that receptionist will prove me that I`m wrong. That was appalling, nearly started calling police because this kind of behaviour is just not acceptable. Apparently they didn`t have my correct number or email from Agoda so they did not give me a call before arrival in order to make sure what time I`m coming. In the end I`ve agreed to pay 10 euros and offered to pay on the same night, was told better to pay next day. Next day i woke up waited for receptionist but no one was there, so i left to city then received a call from receptionist with angry voice that they are waiting for me to pay, luckily i wasn't far away so I`ve returned. I gave cash for room and 10 euros for late check in and was given 1 receipt where overall amount was stated, I`ve asked to write breakdown what i've paid for i was told in a very rude way NO she cant do it, so i had to argue again in order to get right receipt after some time finally i got it , to say that i was super upset with such behaviour is nothing compare to how I felt! Room was ok quiet spacious, but floor was so squeaky cant move without huge noise around, and i`ve got plenty of ants in my room, especially in bathroom. Once you check out there is no luggage room or toilet to use, so money vs value you get is very poor.

Omg I was so disappointed. There wasn't even a reception... We arrived downstairs and called them because we needed a code to open the front gate. But the woman refused to tell us anything via phone and sent us an email telling us to enter the apartment number while we actually needed the password(You need to enter both to get in, but the we already found the ap. number on a sheet next to the door, so we only needed the password ) at the end, a kind resident of the apartment helped us to contact them.

The apartment was clean and everything was handled very professionally. The atmosphere was very nice and the price was absurdly low. Most definitely something to recommend,especially for those traveling on a budget.
