By staying at this hostel, in the very centre of the east-european city of Budapest, you'll find yourself in a surprisingly tropical rainforest-like environment. My friend and I spent here 5 nights during our summer holidays and we could experience the typical tropical climate for ourselves, especially at night. If you are lucky enough, you'll also be able to encounter the native fauna in their natural environment. But don't be scared, all the cockroaches and spiders are very friendly and used to the human presence! In the bathroom you will be able to discover the swamps, due to the overflowing shower, and the incredibly realistic and uncomfortable sensation of the stifling humidity that this windowless area will create in order to faithfully reproduce the climate of this ecosystem. P.S. the most memorable part of our stay was the best receptionist ever, Marcello (we didn't get his Hungarian name so we italianized it), he has been very kind, friendly and helpful!

The worst hostel I've ever been to. The temperature in the room was like a sauna, the fans that you could rent didn't help much, and there was only one small window to open. The bathroom was terribly dirty, with fungus in the shower as if no one had ever cleaned it. There was neither soap nor towels. The kitchen was there but without any equipment. At the reception it was only possible to borrow dirty dishes which you could not even wash, we had to heat water in a pan because there was not even any pot. The service is a joke, the man didn't know anything at all and didn't want to help. I advise against staying in this place.

We stayed in a 3-person room. It was a large room with bathroom, toilet, and a little kitchen. There weren't any soaps. It was pretty hot during our visit in Budapest and there was no AC in the room. You could rent a fan for €2 a day, which probably wouldn't help at all.

Worst place to stay. You cannot stay in the room, sun commes in and temperature is so so hot. No air conditioning. Small ventilators can be rented for 3€ per night... But it doesnt change anything. Staff is not kind at all. Check out at 10am. Dont go, at least in summer.

The staff is direct but friendly, but the kitchen was useless as it had absolutely nothing to cook or eat with (which is very strange for a hostel where you expect to cook your own food but there are no plates/utensils/knives/cutting boards etc). We asked for plates and forks/knives but received dirty ones, which had to be washed with shampoo since there’s not even soap or a sponge in the kitchen. The room was incredibly hot and blood stains on the pillowcase. Also we woke up to water leaking from the ceiling in our room. The bathroom is covered in mould and not clean at all. Aside from the staff, terrible hostel (if you can call it this) and would not recommend. Disappointing :(

Es gab kein Fenster und roch extrem muffig nach Schimmel. Da möchte man auch nicht mit Schuhen duschen gehen.. Den Eingangsbereich und Bad/Toilette teilt man sich mit dem Zimmernachbar. Das kam für mich aus der Beschreibung im Internet nicht ganz hervor. Nicht so das angenehmste wenn man nicht weiß wie man sich frühs die Zeitplanung für die Morgenhygiene machen soll.. Das WLAN hat auch nicht vernünftig funktioniert. Diese Unterkunft hat unseren Aufenthalt in Budapest leider getrübt. Wir habens hält versucht mit Humor zu nehmen.
