It's a very specific place that reminds you of an age long gone. It's got a very specific atmosphere spiced with cheap drinks and food. Students and sketchy people might attend it, but they are just part of the decor. You can get any type of spritzer prepared un front of you prices are very low. Definitely recommend if you're looking for that specific Easter European spleen!

Oldschool restaurant/tavern/pub. Good prices, homemade style Hungarian dishes. It's definitely not classy but has a good price/value ratio and a special atmosphere :)

This is now my home from home watering hole when I’m in Budapest. Cosy and friendly with great cold beer at super prices. Great wine selection too. This is what a real tavern should be like. Snacks and more substantial meals are also availiable. Thoroughly recommended.

Local place, good price of drinks and tapaz

Best bang for your buck. Authentic Hungarian fare with daily specials and extensive a la carte menu. A side street hidden gem in a great neighborhood.

For me that was the true Buda experience. A humble local bar, with local, homemade food, and great service. The young gentleman running the place was very nice to us, making an effort to tell us in english what the food was. Great experience!

Very local place specialised in wines. They have some traditional and cheap snack. Counts with 3 floors with a cozy and traditional decoration. Highly recommended if you wanna experience the Hungarian vibe. Also some youngsters drop by

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There appeared to be only 1 member of staff running the whole place, the bar and kitchen. Food took ages to arrive - waited for over an hour. Would not recommend.

Average service the day we went. The girl working there saw us arrive and sit down outside as she was also outside smoking. She took about 3 minutes to finish and come to take our order. I don't expect miracles in Hungary when it comes to service, but that was not good. Cheap beer though!
