Otthonka in Szentkirályi Street. A freshly opened place, a new colour on the palette of ruin pubs, because it’s much more than that. As you step into Otthonka and take a look around, you’ll feel like in your Granny’s living room or dining room on the countryside. Classy retro furniture, tapestry blessings on the walls, fat pots, credenza, glazy old fashioned cooking pots, porcelain nick-nackery, red spotted teacups and used tables and chairs.

Loved the experience, it's a small place but there prices are good, the service was good, when I visited the place there was a special event with a band, so the party and environment were good, I recommend to visit it

A pretty bar with a chill, special atmosphere. I especially liked the dixit (board game) and the language exchange event. The pizzas and the craft beers are really good.

The drink price is alright, it's a large area basement pub that could host a lot of people. It's the most cosy pub around the area but good enough if you want to catch up with loads of friends. I went there in winter, The basement is a bit smelly and damp.

We called this place to see if they could keep their kitchen open for us a little longer, since everything in Budapest was closed and we wanted some good food. The owner was super nice, as he actually went down to the restaurant to tell the chef to keep open longer, and help in serving us many delicious pizzas and giving us beer and drinks. And this was on a regular Tuesday night! We thank both him and the chef for a lovely evening. We will surely return for the fresh drinks.

Service could use some tweaking but has a warm atmosphere. Cheese and ham plate was enough for three!

Food was delicious, the staff were nice. The food came a little staggered so by the time the last meal arrived the other meals had already been eaten and desert ordered. The English in the menu was mistranslated a little. Entrées are actually main meals. The Hungarian paprika potatoes are served with 2 smoked sausages (not suitable for vegetarians as I thought it was) . The decor and atmosphere is great and highly recommended for locals and travellers.

Nice bar in the hearth of budapest, with good drinks and food. The service is fast and kind.
