Great way to see the city. You can cover much more, in less time than on the bus tours. They adjust the tours to your personal desires. The drivers speak decent english and supply great loads of info. Blankets are provided for winter tours, still it's a summer blast. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 8 friends and were looking for a tour in Budapest on the 1st day in the new year… it was very convenient choice given then weather was cold, they had blankets and they were able to show us around and pass through the main attractions. They also took the time to state historical facts and some valuable info. Thank you David, Paul, Zoltan and Peter.. we really enjoyed our time

It was an amazing tour we enjoyed every minute, although the weather was gloomy. But Paul had made the ride enjoyable and lovely. He gave us a-lot of insight about the city and how magnificent it is. Highly recommended. For anyone visiting.

Best way to see the City especially with limited time. Mike was the best guide, he took us through the winding streets of Buda, and it was beautiful. He told us about the historical sites, and we had time to explore them. Mostly we just enjoyed riding around the city open air and relaxed. Never could have experienced the city any other way. If you are in town, give Budapest Tuk Tuk a try. it was am amazing experience and ask for Mike. One piece of advice is bring water.

We were in town for 1 day at the end of our Viking cruise. We had Peter as our guide for our 4 hour tour of Budapest. As we had never been to the city before, we told him to show us whatever he felt would be a great overview. We had a fabulous tour where we not only got to see so many different areas of the city but also learned of the history and culture of the people who live there. I highly recommend this if you have a little free time and want to learn more about this beautiful city.

Great experience! From the moment we got picked up until the moment we got dropped off, our great tour guide (Peter) went above and beyond to give us all the background historic information for all the details! We truly enjoyed his humor, his professionalism and how well he could tell us about Budapest and all the surroundings. Just got back from the most informative tour I’ve ever been on. Paul our tour guide was informative, friendly and very personable. He let us choose what bits we wanted to see, even showing me the national stadium after I asked him a few sport questions. Would highly highly recommend.

Two couples took two of these around the city and were given great information and wonderful views. this would be a great compliment to perhaps some walking tours later on your stop. Such a fantastic experience and the best way to see Budapest. Christian, our driver, spoke excellent English and was very passionate about the city. We saw all the sights as well as some hidden gems. A nice touch was that he bought us some local cuisine at his expense for us to try. The fact that is a private tour also makes you feel like you're getting special treatment and he will drive wherever you want him to, in whichever order.

We chose to do a morning 2 hour Budapest scenic tour before we had to meet our ship for our cruise. Peter picked us up at our hotel on time and asked us what we wanted to get out of the tour. We said we had a couple of Budapest tours scheduled with the cruise, so we were more interested in some things off the beaten path. Peter did not disappoint. He was engaging and knowledgeable. We saw several things our later tours did not. We had a few stops where we could get out and stretch our legs a bit. Not once did we feel rushed and Peter was able to drop us off at the pier where we were to embark our ship. Great tour. Highly recommend.

I booked a Budapest Half-Day Exclusive Highlights Private Tour (via TukTuk) for 3 people in May 23. I was concerned because I had two mobility-impaired family members who had extreme limitations. The tour company was quick to respond and offered 2 tuk tuks for our tour so that everyone would be comfortable and explained that they could ensure minimal walking due to their impairments. On the day of the tour Paul and Greg showed up right on time to our hotel for pickup. From the start, my 87-year-old father was smitten with the idea of wandering about a European city in a tuk tuk. Paul was an amazing historian and story-teller, both informing and amusing my father during the 4-hour tour. Greg was phenomenal as well providing additional information about the city and landmarks as we drove through the city. They made frequent stops at landmarks, explaining history, purpose, and people and remained until all questions from my dad had been answered. They truly went ABOVE and BEYOND when it came to this tour. I honestly could not have asked for two better tour guides or a better venue to show my family one of my favorite European cities! Paul and Greg were kind, friendly, informative, helpful, flexible, knowledgeable, and just down right fun. I would HIGHLY suggest taking a tour with this company. They were very communicative about my issues, adjusted things to ensure everything was squared away prior to our arrival, and have incredibly well-informed and conversant tour guides! Balász was the best tour guide there ever was, and trust me, I've been on many guided tours. Out of our 5 countries we visited and almost 14 different tours, Balász blew everyone out of the water! I wish we could take him everywhere with us because he was just that good! He was always more than happy to take beautiful pictures of us (our personal photographer) and was so passionate and knowledgeable (so many WOW facts). We did this tour with David, on September 6. I give high marks to David. He was right on time at our hotel, took a few minutes to ask us what we wanted to see because we had been in the city for a few days and exploring on our own. He took us to great places, with local history we would not have seen without David. We did the complimentary Danube cruise, even though we had already done the Danube Night cruise on our own. We’re so happy we did the complimentary cruise, because we got to get off the boat and explore Margaret Island. It was so beautiful. Really a gem in the heart of Budapest. David was also a good driver. I always felt safe in the Budapest traffic. The tuk tuk was noisy ( engine) but I had the feeling this was an older model.

We had a great experience with Greg in the tuk tuk. His English and knowledge of the real history of Budapest and Hungary was great! We got more sights in 3 hrs than I would've imagined. Thank you!

Absolutely loved our two hour tour with Robert and Greg. They took us to incredible locations for views of the city. We had four of our kids with us and everyone loved the tour.

My family and I were visiting Budapest for the first time, and this was the first activity on our itinerary! We had a wonderful time with our guides Zoltan and Peter. They gave us a very comprehensive tour of the city and quite the history lesson. It was very easy to follow, and incredibly enjoy for me personally, the history nerd that I am. Our guides showed quite the determination as it started to rain during our tour. They pushed on anyway much to our delight, making sure we were comfortable along the way. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to the city for the first time.

A great tour! Our guides (Gabe, Adam, Petey, and Steve) were fun and knowledgeable. They quickly adjusted our tour too when they found out we had already been to some of the sights. It was a lot of fun.

The tour with Peter at TukTuk Budapest was thoroughly enjoyable and I totally recommend it. We travelled as a group of 2 adults and one child. Our 8 year old daughter had a ball riding with us. We booked the 4-hour tour and we were able to tweak the timing and stops to suit our interests. Information about the city and sights was summarised at the right level and delivered with Peter's light-hearted sense of humour.

Budapest is a great city to explore but we decidied to use tuk tuk tours. Our driver and guide was Paul who broudht the history and passion of the Hungarian people to life. I would recommend TUK TUK TOURS Budapest to anyone but what a bonus to have Paul as your driver and tour guide.

This was our first time to Budapest. Our driver and guide was Ben. He did an excellent job of driving us to all the major sites avoiding the bus loads of tourists. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Hungary and even showed some other points of interest that were unknown to us. He is a local which made the tour even more genuine. We were extremely happy and highly recommend this Tuk Tuk tour.

The perfect way to view all the main sights in the city all in one morning, we couldn't rate these tours highly enough. The only downside was that we had to cancel our afternoon plans because we couldn't resist also spending the afternoon with our amazing guide Gabor!! Super knowledgeable with perfect English we greatly enjoyed getting to know our guide just as much as having the tour! 10/10 will recommend to everybody we come across, thanks for a great addition to our holiday in Budapest! :)

I admit I was a bit hesitant to get on that little TukTuk but I'm so glad I did! Peter was a great driver and tour guide. When he wasn't enlightening us with lots of information, he kept us laughing with his silly jokes. We saw and learned so much in 4 hours, and even had time to stop for delicious gelato at Rosa near the Basilica. Peter also stopped whenever we asked to take a photo. Can't recommend him and TukTuk highly enough.

WE LOVE ZOLTAN! Staying in Budapest for the weekend and planned a tuk tuk tour to maximize our short time seeing as many things as possible. Zoltan helped us achieve this and more! In a matter of hours, we were able to see the Hero's Square, Szechenyi Baths, Jewish Quarter, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, and more, all with in-depth, detailed explanations. He also left ample time to explore and take pictures at all of the above, not to mention showed us a wonderful spot for chimney cakes. Couldn't have been happier to take a tuk tuk tour with Zoltan; 10/10 would do again!

This was our first time in Budapest and we are looking for some way to see the city sights . We are so pleased that we selected this tour! Our tour guide was named David and he was great! We felt very comfortable with our safety and really enjoyed seeing the sights. One of the things that I liked was that we saw a church on top of the hill that was beautiful and he said “let’s go see it!” The flexibility of being able to see sights like that is great! We scheduled the tour to start right outside of Keleti train station and he was punctual and right there waiting for us at the scheduled time We would absolutely suggest this and recommend this as a great way to see Budapest!

Highly recommend this tour. Would be great to do the first day you get to Budapest for an overall view, but would be good any day! We were 2 couples and had Gabor and Berci as our guides, they were both passionate and informative about the city they love. We got stuck in the Buda side due to some protests closing a few bridges so got back the long way they still made it fun even though it was tough for them to get around. Do it, you see so much in such a fun way!

Our guide and TukTuk driver Peter was prompt, friendly, experienced, professional, safe, and flexible. He was born and raised in Budapest, so knows the city intimately as only a native can. We learned so much and he spoke English very well. This is a great way to see the city because we went where tour buses are not allowed. During the two hour tour we experienced sun and rain, but stayed dry and comfortable. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The company provided clear and useful communications by email. This experience was a great value and I highly recommend it.

Had a great experience with Berci! He was an excellent guide, very informative and catered the tour to our interests very well. Email correspondence with the company was excellent and they stayed on top of things as we didn't even know our exact pick up location until the night before. Highly recommend this service. We had Gabriel as our guide and I can say hands down, he's one of the best guides we've ever had. Very informative, patient, and even extended our ride by 20mins even though the delay was our fault. Definitely do this tour on your first day so you can decide the areas and things you want to see in more detail. Super fun for our 3yr old as well!

This was a fantastic tour - we were able to see so much of the city and with loads on information in just over two hours. It was cold outside was we were provided blankets and even hot tea (I don’t think the tea is included by every driver, we just got lucky). Would absolutely recommend especially if you have a short trip to Budapest. Such a kind guide with lots of knowledge. He was also a very comfortable and safe driver through the city, we never felt stressed or felt any chaos of traffic. THANK YOU!

Tuk tuk tour was amazing. All communication leading up to the tour was perfect. Especially when they needed to push back the time they reached out immediately to make sure it accommodated our schedule. We had two scooters with two tour guides to accommodate 4 of us. Peter and Paul our tour guides were very friendly, informative and knowledgeable of Budapest and the history surrounding Hungary. They arrived on time, explained everything and asked places we saw already, as to not duplicate locations we saw on our own. They took us to places with incredible views and places we may have never found on our own. Loved that the cars were open so it allowed you to really see the sights in a fun and unique way. This tour was recommended to me and I’m Highly recommending it to anyone visiting Budapest - ask for Peter or Paul they were great tour guides!!!
