About 10 years now I visit your beautiful restaurant . All the foods are perfect , the staff is great . The new manager close the air conditioning for it to be hot in the restaurant. This way people can’t eat a lot of food . In max one hour you leave running . All the costumers where taking out fans or using the menus for air . I asked 4 different waiters . They told me that they are hot too but the manager doesn’t allow to open the air conditioning he want hot . All the waiters where sweaty . I wonder the owner of the restaurant knows what’s happening ? He should ask all the waiters . Ps in 20 June we uploaded this review after a few days it was gone . We are waiting for a response from the manager . Do you delete bad reviews?

This was our favorite Trofea Grill locations. Its been for years. We frequent this restaurant during our travels to Budapest. There are other's but this is our stop. Beautiful buffet setup with all the Hungarian dishes and more. Its a delicious way to sample all the dishes without the worry. Most of the dishes have English and Hungarian info next to them but feel free to ask some of the guest of attendee's to assist. Leave room for the Hungarian pastries. Delicious as always. Trofea has gotten so much better with their Coffee selections, so take advantage with the sweet pastries.

The food they have is tasty in general. But i would expect to have at least one kind of beef instead of many kinds of chicken. Also for the sea food selection they have almost nothing. Sushi was good. Desserts were 4.5/10. Starters were also good. Service was great. The birthday cake gesture is really good but it unfortunately tastes not good at all :( filled with lots of cream and thin layer of cake gives you “cheap cake” taste.

The only all you can eat buffet that is worth visiting. Amazing service , wide selection of good quality food. Grill station and more it is just great. The only thing missing is red meat .

Not bad at all. The restaurant offers different meals and cuisines. The idea is to go and have a meal and at the exit to pay for it. Interesting idea was the robot busser. It was fun for the kids, and not only. I’ll check that place again for a different variations.

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. This was the first time I had all you can eat in Hungary, the food they had was okay in general. But I would expect to have at least some seafood or some more kinds of western cuisine than Hungarian one's with this price. Since sea food selection they have almost nothing(not even shrimp as in Trófea Grill Étterem Kiraly utca). Even Sushi was cheap and not authentic. Desserts were 5.5/10, looked nice but it unfortunately tastes not good at all, just like some “cheap cake” taste from Spar. Service was REALLY great, so I would still 2 stars. Unfortunately that's all, probably not gonna visit again since the cost/performance is Very low.

Grilled seafood, steak, fois gras, chicken, pork, and sashimi, they have everything you name it. Just have three plates of steak and fois gras and it's absolutely worth the price. One thing to note is their special dry aged steak is only available on weekends.

Service was decent, not fast not slow. Staff spoke english. The food was very nice i have to say, however they ran out of a lot of food within the first 20 minutes (salmon sushi, prawns, multiple meats) and they did not get refilled. Overall was an okay experience, food was good, but the amount that was left after 1 - 2 plates didnt compensate for the price paid. On top of this they raise their price by 2k huf per person in a few days.

Trófea is a really nice all you can eat, staff is polite and helpful, food us tasty and lots of stuff on the 'menu'. Coca cola and other soft drinks are not particularly good, probably tapped, but other drinks are fine. If you are visiting Budapest, one of the Trófea restaurants are definitely recommended.

I, who is sensitive to the price as for the quality really impressed by the fish fillet with mayo potato. Full taste, big portion, neat packaging. Excellent job! Highly recommended.

We visited Trofea Király before and the experience was 5 stars, so we decided to visit Trofea Ujbuda and the experience was less by far. First, the selection of food was lacking compared to Király and even compared to photos we saw of Ujbuda (no shrimp, no salmon, no mussels, no veggies in the hot food section, etc etc). Secondly, our experience was ruined when they abruptly asked us to leave at 2:00 PM because a “second round will start”. We were having coffee and dessert and asked for few minutes to finish but they insisted we leave immediately. We actually arrived at 12:30 PM so we didn’t even spend 90 minutes. I think they need to let paying customers finish their meal, rather than have these abrupt end times regardless of when you arrived. Overall if we will go back, it will be to the Király branch.

It used to be a lovely place to eat or celebrate an event. But now it’s way too expensive for the quality of food you can get in Trófea. Almost everything I tasted was not fresh at all, some dishes were even cold. Only the sushi seemed to be fresh. The service is still excellent, waiters very kind and happy. The food though is a huge disappointment, as it just gets more expensive each month and the quality drops. Where do they want to stop?!

This place although is a self service buffet lunch/dinner has an amazing atmosphere with a great table service and skilled waiters/waitresses our waiter was Mr Attila very attentive cleaning and making sure our drinks are always full, the table is ready for any courses we desire to get, and upseling his extra drinks menu. We had a great time seeing birthday celebrated with a lovely cake, fireworks and music in any language. The place itself is very modern full of life and great for a family dinner or any other reason you want to come here. The only problem here is...... You need to make sure you are starving to be able to try all the things they have to offer. I truly appreciate the hard work of the chefs which made the best venison in red wine sauce I've ever had. The downside would be the vegetables I'm not going to give less than 5 stars for one side dish but the baby carrots were undercooked. Unlimited drinks and food what else a man would want 😂 get feed and drunk get home and sleep at a great price . To mention something that no-one thinks is worth mentioning, the toilets are sparkling clean and so nice furnished and extra little details that amused me and I think they are funny. Highly recommended !!! I'll definitely be back ! Whenever I'll come to Hungary again. One question to the owner didn't they decide to make something similar in London I'd love to be a regular there 😉

This is a really great place. For formal dinner with clients and family gathering. Food is just delicious. Interior is nice and cozy. I would love to go there again when I'm not on a diet😊

Ruuan laatu ei ollut hyvää ja laatu oli huonontunut valtavasti 4 vuodessa. Sushi ja juomat olivat ok. Ei enää vastinetta rahalle. Ilmapiiri oli muuten ok, mutta osa tarjoilijoista oli töykeitä ja juomatarjoilu oli hidasta.

I was there on 20th August 2023 with around my 13 guests. We ordered 4 coffees at the end of our lunch - waited ages and the waiter told us that the place was too busy therefore no coffees left for our table! Shocking!!! No manager, no apologies from anybody.... Brutal. Guys, don't go there to drink coffee you might not get it when is 'too busy'. Not too sure what my American guests were thinking about the place. Shame on me (picked the wrong place) shame on Hungary.

Great restaurant. For ok prices you can try different kind of foods for 2 hours. Buffet is very well prepared. You can drink and eat for one price. It is depends on what time you visit. Highly recommended.

Visited this place for the first time Advantage: + big variety of food, especially seafood (octopus, calamari, shrimps,oysters) which is not typical here, also sushi + possibility to make whatever you want from seafood and meat on grill + delicious sweets + staff pays attention to tables, there are no empty glasses or leftovers + everything is clean + all food is fresh, except for sushi, they tasted like they were made hours ago Disadvantage - overcrowded, sometimes i had to stay in line for 2-3 minutes just to have a look what kind of food there is -staff does not speak english - expensive, on Saturday dinner costs 12.000ft -there is a lot of food, but except seafood and sushi everything is of Hungarian style I definitely recommend this place to visit at least once, but if to come there again is individually 🙃

All the can eat concept. Good food with some variety. It tasted good. You can find meat and seafood stations. Service was okay. We liked the place and could repeat the visit to Trofea restaurant.

As expected, another good value evening at the Trofea buffet. Food was good-high standard and regularly replenished, beer, service all fine, well worth a visit. Children running freely around the food areas and tables were annoying and surprisingly unchallenged by any parents, staff or guests. The AI plate collecting robot was an amusing novelty factor. (4-5 stars).

The best restaurant in Budapest.

I am very dissapointed! Went there for my birthday and expected great, fresh products. From seafood they had only frozen seafood mix which you can get in any shop. Also, chefs who are grilling are very rude and my seafood was burnt. When I called them to make a reservation I was told that from seafood there is salmon and many kind of fish, but in the reality only this mix that I mentioned. Sushi was totally okay tho! Salad, fruits - very dry! Never again!!

All you can eat restaurant with set price. Go there hungry to get your money's worth. Nice atmosphere and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Outstanding selection of marinated meat, fish ,fresh vegetables and cheese, grilled freshly as selected. Very good variety of side dishes and puddings. Soft drinks and coffees are included in the price. Not been disappointed in the last four years and that is why we are going back each time, while we are in Hungary.

I only ordered from them, but the portion was huUUUge and delicious! The quality of the delivered food was high and the packaging was also perfect. 🏆 It is not cheap, but you get good quality for your money here.

A local person suggest me this place. It has been a great solution to test a lot of different dishes in a time. Modern style and a great organisation made my dinner a complete experience. Staff was kind and helpful, food was great, you can also choose some dishes that are cooked real time. Price was acceptable for an all-you-can-eat solution.

A bit pricey, but with hindsight it turned out it definitely worth the money. Quality meals, everything is thoroughly cooked, fresh, nice. Just like the staff. It's a pity they don't accept bankcards. Why??

Excellent all-you-can-eat place, very nice staff, great variety of dishes. Air-conditioning feels natural, not overdone. A lot of attention to detail. We booked a table for a family occasion and had a very good time here.

The food was nice and plentiful. They didn't have much seafood (just cod and some mussels) but the food was nice so that can be overlooked. The waiters were polite, but service was slow. We had to wait 30 minutes for our bill.
