This is not the place to stay if you black. I was made to wait for a room while “others” that had the same room type were granted access to their room. Management were very nonchalant, told multiple different stories, and definitely treated the black customers differently. I do not recommend the stay.

Sheraton Buenos Aires is at terrible condition. Don’t be fooled and most importantly, DONT STAY HERE!!!! They charge US prices, but the quality is Not the same at all. The walls are dirty and coming off. The beds are sagging, the AC vents are a health hazard (black mold). The room service took 2h for a Cesar’s salad, the front desk just doesn’t pick up the phone. WiFi is costing money. Tv is not working. These are just a few flaws, and I wasn’t even looking for flaws … Did I mention that the outdoor pool is closed, even tho it is 30celsius outside ? Man, even the sink was making sounds I have never heard before, that would wake up the next room. I have visited many hotels in the world, I am from Switzerland and know good quality hotels. This ain’t it. I was on the front desk with Angelika and she was the most unmotivated person I have ever come across. DONT GO TO THE SHERATON BUENOS AIRES. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PRESTIGE OF THE NAME SHERATON. YOU WILL GET SCAMMED. THIS PLACE WAS WORSE THAN THE 15$ HOSTELS I STAYED AT IN PATAGONIA.

The location is ok, the rooms are very much in need of a update (and several have broken doors or windows). The worst is the service. Check in is the slowest I have ever experienced. Some of my group stood in line for 90 minutes to check in; which is beyond unacceptable. Then we get up there and over half of our rooms aren’t ready even though it is an hour past check in time; also unacceptable. Bar service is extremely slow and to get service you have to chase after a person. Housekeeping is equally bad. One day my room wasn’t cleaned until 5:45! Another day, the didn’t bother to refresh my water. I strongly recommend against staying here.

The hotel is staffed by friendly, helpful and sincere staff. It's clean and fresh in the lobby and public areas. It feels safe and is located next to a pretty park and is close to the port where cruise ships and cargo ships dock. 24 floors tall, it's easy to spot. The rooms have a worn appearance and could use new furniture and bedding. The club is well atteded and always seems to fresh food and drinks. Overall it's a great place to stay.

We love this hotel! There are great views on both side from the high floors and the whole staff is so welcoming and takes very good care of their guests. Paola at the front desk and Diego in the Bonvoy Club were excellent!

Very nicely appointed hotel with great views of the city! Happy they have returned with some type of lounge (at the time of writing, open 2-8pm with bkfst at the restaurant). The pool is spacious and deep. Lots of seating, tennis courts, gym, indoor (though small) lap pool. Staff are very nice. Hotel is about 45mins to get to from the airport but directly across from the train stations (if you're traveling locally). Beds are super comfy and nice rooms too! Televisions seem dated, though, with no accessible or easily accessible HDMI outlets.

Given how amazing my stay was at the Park Tower, which is right next to here, I'm extra disappointed in the service I received here today. The room won't go below 23.5 Celsius, so I'm absolutely roasting in here. The cold water won't work, so I can't even flush the toilet or shower. Room service food was very tasty, but I called to ask them to remove the table in my room and they never came.

Stayed there for 4 nights, club lounge access room. Mainly working, took a walk too. Room a bit old , lobby and club lounge good to stay.

Very friendly staff! I needed to cancel my booking and they did not charge the room even with the non-refundable rate! Truly customer orientation!

Probably the worst room I have ever had in this hotel. No tea/coffee/cups. Only the kettle. Wanted to call and one of the phones was dead. Later found it was unplugged. Room old with ineffective heating and noisy draft from the window. Very disappointed this time. At least staff are super friendly and polite, always.

This hotel is in a very good location and close to the tourist bus (grayline). The hotel is very large and has a shop, bar, gym, coffee shop on site. The rooms were cleaned everyday to a good standard. Had room service and it was good but very expensive. The rooms need some updating.

I staid at the hotel several times, location is great and some common areas are convinient for business. But I'm really disappointed about managment how customers are treated, even though staff is friendly service is poor cordinated or they don't even care. Last time I stay I got a standard room next to a room in maintenance which I figure out early in the morning when a unbeareable noise from a drill starts to blow my ears and didn't stop like never. I talk with fron desk and they told me that there was anything they can do, so paying almos 300 usd to not be able to sleep or take a call since noise is too much, didn't rise any concern to the staff they just apologize and do nothing. This was one of many situations when they know beforehand about manteinance issues but decide to no inform to the guest until is too late. 1 time heating didn't work but front desk did not inform (didn't work for like 2 weeks) I complain about this and they told me someone for upper managment was about to call me, guess what, I didn't receive any call o whatever I just waste my money and leave the building without proper sleep in a really busy day So, overall I'm sad that a pretty nice hotel in a wonderful spot was so careless with their guest, they manage things without no concern about their own customers

Beautiful hotel that is very close to great tourist attractions. The picture was from our room, so quite scenic. The hotel was built 50 years ago, and they are doing a renovation- it's needed to bring it back up to its former glory. Still pretty good now, but I'm excited for the renovation to be completed.

I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The staff is friendly, the hotel is a bit dated. WiFi in the rooms was unstable and only allowed one device at a time. It would often also not work at all. WiFi in reception was good. The breakfast was ok compared to other countries, it was good compared to other hotels in BA. The fruit in BA general lacked flavor and the bread and pastries were not super. The rooms were older but ok, clean and everything worked. Location is opposite the train station and near the center in a safe area.

The Sheraton is a good place to stay, but there are plenty of improvement opportunities. Firstly, the hotel is very old, there needs to be a remodel of the rooms, common places and bathrooms. Secondly, the attention from the staff, in my experience the bar crew was disrespectful with their treatment. Lastly, some of the prices, specially the food is very expensive compared to Buenos Aires prices, a Club Sandwich had the same cost that a ribeye in a premium stakehouse.

Hello everyone, what can i tell you. Negative: The rooms are very old and need to be rennovated. The internet worked maybe 5% of the time of my stay. Every problem told to the staff gets delt with in within a week...maybe Positive: Breakfast is good Location of the Hotel Lounge for Members Gym and Pool Tip: MAKE SURE YOU GET A SIMCARD Otherwise you will be cut off from the World

Clean, spacious, and very comfortable rooms with a luxurious view of Buenos Aires. Had a weird hold up when travelling with a party of four - the hotel room had two queen sized beds but they would only let 3 people stay in it so I had to get another

Rooms dated. Not enough charging plugs for the modern world … No USBs. AC does not go below 24, no matter how low you set it up. Restaurant pretty decent, gym excelent

It'd a good hotel. I would suggest not using the cabs. The first one I used was great, the second one acted like they "accidentally" left their meter running and overcharged. Sort of ruined the experience bc it felt like they were affiliated with the hotel... Not worth the hassle when you can use Uber and not get scammed.

Rooms are very outdated even the one’s remodeled. Their TV’s are not the latest models some dated over 10 years, the tv reception is very poor and channels selections are sub par. Their internet is also very slow and drops consistently. I spent 14 nights and had to work from my room and at times it was very frustrating, not the quality one expects from the Sheraton Brand. The staff is very cordial and accommodating, however I saw how frustrating for them to work under sub par conditions. I can go on with other issues, like temperature control, noise etc…

In one of the most dangerous parts of BA. My local friends from ARG advised me to not walk around the area. They also saw a robbery in day light. The rooms are below average. Everything is old and run down. The bathrooms are falling apart. The room itself was ok in terms of space but... mine was leaking by the window during the rain. I heard other guests had the same issue. Money would be much better spent getting an AirBnB or a boutique hotel in Palermo Soho or Hollywood. Service and staff are very good though!

Dated and dirty. I left a review about this hotel’s dire condition a few years ago and sadly nothing has changed. Unfortunately my job doesn’t allow me to pick my hotels so I’m here at the Sheraton again. The rooms are old, mattresses are sunk in, carpet is stained and smelly, scratches on everything, mold and peeling wall paper in the bathroom. Ironically the hotel is celebrating 50 Years. Perhaps now it’s time for a renovation?! This place is a dump. Construction noise every morning as well

Do not stay at this hotel if you want a good nights sleep, they are doing extensive building work I stayed November 2023). I was woken every day at 8.30 with a hammer drill right next to the bedroom wall I was sleeping on. I complained several times but nothing was done. It is quite frankly outrageous a hotel still rents out rooms while this work is being done, at least do it floor by floor and close that floor. I never leave reviews let alone bad ones but this was totally unacceptable.

  • 3/5 Rishu D. 5 months ago on Google
The room was good and had the view of the clock tower. There were loud drilling and hammer noises for a few hours during our stay bending of some repairs, and the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it.

4 nights Jan 2024. Location great and walkable to both Puerto Madero and Plaza de Mayo. Definitely needs an upgrade, hotel looks like it was last decorated in the mid-1990s: bathroom sealant worn, lots of beige and dated pink marble and a general feeling of “tiredness”. No coffee etc in room which is disappointing for the price. Hopefully an upgrade is planned soon as this could be a great place. Staff are great but let down a bit by the building.

The room was very dated, in a state of disrepair & in places dirty. The WiFi was painfully slow, which considering it’s advertised as a conference venue, you would at least expect decent high speed WiFi. Only 2 staff on reception at 9am resulting in a long queue of guests waiting to check out. Other staff appeared from the back but didn’t provide any assistance. Poor all round really.

Hotel is alright, not what we hoped it would be. Spa is closed due to virus... no English channels on the tv, a little out dated the and price advertised Does not include the 21% tax so that’s a huge bummer. Staff is helpful and nice

Stayed there for a conference and I enjoyed the amenities as well as the location. I especially loved the club, so of you are not a member, you can still ask the front desk to add it to your room for a nominal fee. It is worth having access as the food selection is very good and quite enough to relax or do your work. Do not get a room right below the club as I found out to my expense when I got upgraded as a club member...

The employees at this location could not be more wonderful they honestly want to know if you're comfortable while you're there on their property. I didn't give them five stars honestly because the room is a little dated are carpet needed to have been replace probably a year ago the air conditioner wasn't top notch. Breakfast at the lounge was actually much better than breakfast in the restaurant. Again the entire staff made sure that you were happy and well taken care of

Sleeping on those beds is like sleeping at heaven. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the outdoors swimming pool is really great. You have to reserve in time for amenities, due to covid.

I’ve been in this hotel every quarter since the past 5 years. Good service, very educated employees. Terrible transportation services. Never has cars available always forcing the guests to take taxis at the street. During the pandemic, the restaurant imposed restrictions that not necessarily creates any additional security. I believe this will be the last time on this hotel.

Great hotel. Amenities are fantastic, pool, gym, spa - great restaurant and bar and if you have the option the club lounge and the staff are amazing food and beverage is good - just a great place to escape. It’s an oasis in the middle of an amazing city.

Good location. Comfy room but a little bit old (worst part was the rusty water when turn on the shower...) The TV was really old, I couldn't watch anything in it because there was almost zero brightness in the screen (maybe burnt screen). Breakfast is ok (restricted menu due to Covid)

Great stay with great staff….. and then I got ripped off by a hotel cab driver that the concierge assisted me with… I was told the price was $4,500 ARG pesos at the hotel. When I arrived at the airport he charged me $7,500 ARG pesos. He then claimed the price was $25 US dollars. I was charged $64.76 US dollars. I think the driver shouldn’t be allowed to operate from the hotel anymore as a result. Beware when you are leaving the hotel. Better yet, don’t use hotel taxis and instead install cabify (at least 48 hours) prior to your arrival or departure.

Very comfortable place, we had a peaceful sleep. Staff is responsive and helpful, my one observation is that it is set a bit farther from dining etc. However the parks around makes this an amazing place to relax.

Everything is great at this hotel from the spacious comfortable room, to the plentiful breakfast and great location. The only thing missing is coffee/tea in the room.

Old but well maintained. Not many things around but it is ok for business trip. For people on vacation, might consider other places close to city centre or attraction.

The hotel is in a great location. The property is typical for a Sheraton. The staff were very helpful. In particular, Diego Gonzalez was outstanding with security and was a true friend. He made my stay at the hotel amazing! A truly great Argentinian person!

I am not happy with this stay. I have requested a fan be sent to my room 4 times during the first two days because the room is so hot. Each time I asked, I was told a fan would be sent. It has never showed. The room is just average in comparison to other Sheratons worldwide.

The hotel is run down. The water to bathe was brown. I had to ask to get three towels ( we were three in the room) in two different occasions. The breakfast service was slow(due to lack of staff) so our time to have breakfast was not really the time allotted and we were very nicely asked to leave soon. I asked to use the pool after check out and a lot of hotels let you but i was denied that (the pool was empty cause it was a cloudy day). We asked for an umbrella since both days we stayed were rainy and we were given one really broken umbrella and the changed to a broken one. The contactless key did not work a few times and had to go down to get it sorted. The service was fantastic. The breakfast staff was really superb as well as the kids area staff. Guest services were amazing.

I want to be compensated for such shoddy service. After pre booking months in advance, got to the hotel only to be told room wasn't ready at 3pm. My flight was delayed and I got there at 6:30p. After waiting 35 minutes, the room assigned was wrong! I booked two twins and room was a king. I was then told no other rooms available and I can get a fold out cot at no charge as another employee changed my booking. I was told to wait again...another 20 minutes. Get to a new room and the toilet was not flushing. So two hours later still no room!!! They really didn't seem to care that my 81 year old father and I were tired. They didn't even want to pay taxi fare to another hotel I was forced to book online in their lobby. Just horrible!!! Paid over 60 bucks in cab fare and inconvenienced for three hours after all day travel. Had a fantastic time in Antarctica inly to have this hotel ruin the back end of the trip. Ridiculous Sheraton! Just ridiculous. You should be ashamed!
