In a battered economy, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Room was very decent - good decor and furniture plus a comfortable bed. Bathroom had a slightly cramped shower which is of course better than most places that still have tubs. Restaurant food quite good as well - the oxtail was delicious.

Cresta Churchill is peaceful and tranquil. It's located in a quiet environment, and the staff is effusive and always read to help. I actually lost an earring one of the mornings, and after I notified reception, there were staff members who came and helped me to look for it. This was my second stay, and to be honest, I love their toilets, the working space, the comfy armchair, and notably the gym - I didn't have to break my workout schedule because I was far from home. Though it's not extravagant or over the top luxurious, it actually feels like home away from home. I'll come again, I know

The hotel stuff was friendly, the place is nice and clean, car park is secured properly. I had a good experience there.

Rooms, Services, Location, and maintenance all good but only one problem is, we was stay 15days in cresta when I check into cresta respect and responses are good while completing my stay means end of my trip something went wrong in staff behavior in dinning. Apart from that all good I suggest go with cresta for best experience.

Beautiful place but food was bad and service extremely poor

Loved the place, the staff and the food. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. The all you can eat buffer was a steal at $20 per head and consisted of some of the most delicious items I've ever put in my mouth. The shower was superb, the rooms have all types of plug sockets so I was able to charge my phone and use my hot air styler/ straighteners without the need of an adapter. The hotel is located minutes from the town centre so is an ideal base. I truly can't rate the place highly enough, especially Charles who will go out of his way to assist you and always with the warmest smile on his face.

This property is a beautiful representation of the rich history of Bulawayo. The bones are very old school juxtaposed with a new and fresh design aesthetic that is modern but with subtle historic classical or antique elements. The appreciation or nod to the classics is present in the cuisine. For example the deconstructed beef Wellington is a visual masterpiece but delivers on flavor...shout out to the Pinotage pairing. I highly recommend the cocktails by the pool and I definitely think it's work the extra bucks to book the suite

Lovely place to be at. Staff is super friendly. Not forgetting good food too 😋. Room is clean and spacious. Bathroom is fitted with a shower which had good water pressure. Wifi worked without any interruptions to the network. Loved my stay!

Lovely Staff, clean and nice rooms

Lovely hotel and fine food. However, very scant selection of drinks. Didn't even have Coca Cola! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our evening there.

The Sunday Roast lunch was amazing, will definitely do it again.

Intriguingly Victorian feeling a distinct feature that separates the English man from the rest of the world, i loved the wood paneling and the art works.

I have always said and will always say i yet to see any restaurant or hotel which can beat Cresta food, im up for the challenge. It never disappoints with excellent creative cuisines make by love, passion and going an extra mile. I can give them an extra 10 points, its definitely a place to stay when visiting Bulawayo or for conferences. Let the guys at Cresta keep it up!

Clean, the food was lovely, conference rooms a little too small for large group conferences. Felt a little archaic, which is not a bad thing if that's your style. Kitchen staff wore the wrong shoes, otherwise they were hardworking and polite.

Very much impressed with the improvement compared to my last visit over a year ago! They may just need to increase variety and options on their breakfast, but the overall experience was on-point!!

The experience at Cresta Churchill was superb. From the reception area you are welcomed by friendly faces always smiling and hospitable. The porter, the security guard as well as the guy who washed our car. The staff knows their customer service. The rooms were very clean and neat. Everything seemed to be conveniently located and felt homely. The restaurant staff is also mega friendly with the waiters catering to our every need and surpassing our demanding expectations. The food was just mega exquisite. The only downside is the location which is quite some distance from the CBD coupled with the bumpy access road.
