Italian food from the Piemonte region. It's such a pleasure to have a taste from home (Italy) which is not the usual pizza. Even nicer as it's in Cabanyal! I had a plate of meat-filled ravioli with a glass of Roero Arneis, and then a plate of ox tongue with a glass of Barbera d'Alba. They have a nice selection of wines, Italian of course, and the owners are lovely to talk to!

Food was amazing service was excellent despite lack of English, waiter did his best to explain things to me and was very nice. Did not expect English as it’s not in the tourist areas and clearly caters to locals- so do not let that keep you away. I recommend if you are in the area even if you do not speak much Spanish like me. Cauliflower with sardines was amazing, it came with rasins which is the only food i normally hate however they had the perfect amount and good cooked texture that perfectly contrasted the salty sardine sauce but melted into the sauce texture. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy - even better than some Italian food I’ve had in Italy. Tiramisu was huge but light and refreshing as it should be, and perfect end to a meal. Very very happy I chose them to break away from all the Spanish food I had been eating. Food tastes better than it looks- as it should be in my opinion. Best meal in Spain I had at this price point.

As always, the food and wine were excellent. Valentina is a fantastic cook who showcases the food from their native Piedmont. Paolo does front of house and is charming. The menu is small, but ever changing and you would be hard-pressed to find a poor dish. It was our 1st place to return to after being away for 3 months. This time we had a plate of cold cuts and cheeses, and the Vitello Tonnato. It's a bargain for the quality of the food and wine

Very nice bar. Very friendly people. Lots of choice of tapas. All locals there we were the only tourists! Very good value for money, the have a €5 brunch menu until 12.30pm for a large bocadillo, a drink and a coffee. Tapas range from €3-€5 and all were delicious. Alcohol was very cheap. We went back about 4 times!

This place is fantastic from start to finish. But don’t come expecting pizza and red sauce. Open your mind to the amazing cuisine of northern Italy and the Piemonte region. Nothing we had disappointed. The artichoke lasagna was sublime. The tagliatelle with ragu exceptional. The wine was amazing- spicy, fruity and hearty. And the tiramisu was maybe the best I have ever had. Add to this a wonderful and friendly staff. Make reservations!! They have only five tables inside and do seatings at 130 and 300 for lunch. Absolutely a great restaurant.

The white lasagna and the tiramisu were both 10/10! Both dishes were recommended by the waitress, she was fantastic! A very very good place to have dinner in Valencia as there are not that many highly rated restaurants around.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! All three members of the staff we interacted with were friendly, kind, and welcoming. We enjoyed a starter, three main dishes, and dessert for under 100 EUR. The dishes were superb - cooked perfectly with the best balance of flavors. It's not your typical Italian restaurant as they serve dishes from the Piedmont region of Italy - definitely worth a try! You won't regret your decision.

Felt like I was just robbed. The service and wine were great!!! Not many choices on the dishes...tongue, lamb and some other things that most people don't eat...I settled for the carpaccio...wrong choice...I felt like I just had a big tapa for €17!! Totally, not worth it. Most of the dishes that you see on the review page, are not even available! I was still hungry, when I got home.

Very interesting and tasty place with traditional Piedmontese dishes. The dishes are very promissing and include specific combinations of ingredients, mostly around 12-20 euros. There is a good selection of wine, grappa, liqueurs and interesting seaweed beer (great with fish dishes). The cuisine here is sophisticated, with intense flavors and traditional but interesting recipes. I highly recommend it if you are tired of classic pizza and pasta. We ordered stewed meat with fish and vegetable sauce, ravioli with meat, lasagna in white sauce and gnocchi in white sauce with honey. Very interesting tastes, prepared very well!

I’ve finally found a restaurant that I can happily recommend to my friends when they come visit Valencia! And I don’t give this kind of compliments easily. Everything that we’ve tried was delicious, including the wine. The service was incredibly friendly and professional, and the ambience is just beautiful. Don’t forget to try their tiramisu - I haven’t found a better tiramisu in all the Valencia. Thank you for such amazing experience, can’t wait to come back!

I have eaten in Bergamo, Bologna and Modesta and not eaten better than this fine little trattoria in the middle of Cabanyal. Run by a charming Italian couple you will instantly feel at home. The menu is written on a blackboard and changes by the day. Being so close to the wonderful Cabanyal mercato with all its beautiful seasonal products you can be assured that you will eat well. I was served some delicious paper thin ribbons of lardo on crusty bread ( on the house) to start. I then tucked into the osso bucco ravioli ( two of my favourite things combined!!) topped with gremolata and swimming in rich , melted butter. This would have made any restaurant in La Grassa ( Bologna) proud. If I remember correctly , the wine the owner recommended was a Barbera but anyway it was delcious.. I took my desert to go: An uber rich chocolate almond tarte in rum sauce which was truley lovely. if you love real Italian food or if you just want to take a break from the local ,excellent cooking then you could do far worse than to eat here.. I would happily return.

Excellent service and dinner. All the pastas were fabulous and handmade. Highly recommended - ravioli with osso bucco, cauliflower was just outbid this world, and you must not skip the tiramisu. Better than a lot of dinners we had in Italy. Best food we had so far in Valencia! A definite must.

Incredible Beautiful Italian corner in Cabanyal close to the beach!!! Very good authentic food And absolutely EXCEPTIONAL WINE MENU and great wine knowledge from the owner. Also the wines are very very reasonably priced! I live here and I will make this place a weekly personal treat to spoil myself and friends! :-)

Very good choice of Italian high quality wines and "grappa" from renewed Italian winery, I tried a couple of them with the kind recommendation of the owners. Try also the delicious cakes that the chef cooks with traditional Italian recipes. Cozy place, tasty food and warm hospitality ! Ciao ragazzi ! Alla prossima
