Stopped here for dinner on my way back to Toronto after a Canada Day weekend trip to Detroit. While it was my first time at this location, I had visited Mandarin quite a few times as a child but haven’t been back for a few years (the last time was probably in 2019). It felt nostalgic to be back. This location had everything I’d expect from a Mandarin and more. They had a few special items for Canada Day – the honey maple glazed salmon was particularly good. They also had salmon, tuna and surf clam sashimi, although they went out really fast. There was a huge selection of appetizers and desserts. The service was as warm as I had remembered. Great job to the team here.

I have been to several locations and hands down this location in Burlington is THE BEST food I've ever had at The Mandarin.. The broccoli dishes were amazing, torpedo shrimp was absolute perfection, the chicken wings were the best I've had from any Chinese food restaurant, and I've made my rounds, believe that. The grilled steak and chicken were both cooked to perfection, and a lot of the locations have it slightly overcooked which causes it to dry. With the entire, overall supreme quality of the food here, it's no wonder that this location attracts so much business. We did wait about 20 mimutes for a table, but it was SO worth it, absolutely going to be our go to location for The Mandarin, which means we drive past the Kitchener location. You do that math!

Haven’t been to mandarin ever since COVID era and so figured I’d go since it’s been a long time. Went and was very pleased with the service at this location. Still have the hot towels and everything is still the same. But what improved is the food selection and the service definitely was comforting. Highly recommend people to check it out. Good vegetarian options and a place to break your fast for those fasting.

Booked the reservation a week ago. The phone reservation was easy and welcoming. We came in and were treated nicely. We got the seat in the cherry tree room, and the server was very accommodating as we had a child with us. The owner dropped by to say hello and offered his help if required. He helped his server with the next table, and it was great to see ownership on the floor. The food was delicious we had a good time. Chinese New Year decoration and mini shop was cool touch. Thanks for a good time.

Wonderful collection of food with a decent variety. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Robot in service was fun to watch. Staff were helpful

Eric and Anny were exceptional. Food was great. Seated in room B. Beautiful scenery. Not too busy for Thursday night. Very attentive. Wish I could give 6 stars!

We went to this Mandarin location this past Tuesday evening. It was my first time at a Mandarin (although, I'd tried other buffet restaurants in the past) and my husband had been to a few different Mandarin locations in the past. The experience was so great! I usually tip less at buffet-style restaurants, because in my experience the staff members don't seem to care quite as much about the guest experience - this was certainly not the case at Mandarin in Burlington! Everyone was so pleasant to deal with and they were working so hard, including the staff members who run around making sure the buffet tables are continually wiped clean after the inevitable sloppiness that happens when guests scoop various dishes onto their plates. We were enjoying our experience very much and then near the end of our meal the owner even came by the table to introduce himself and to ask how our experience was. We are from out of town but will return to this Mandarin location any time we are in the area! Amazing service and yummy, fresh food with so many options!!
