Overall its lovely waterfront park, not too crowded. It has a paid parking, Stroller wheelchair accessible, has a nice walk way. Just a few cherry blossom trees, but they are facing the waterfront so gives a good view. Good place to sit back relax with the sound of waves in the background. . It's located in downtown so lots of options to eat nearby.

I recently visited Spencer Smith Park to see the sunrise and cherry blossoms, and I must say, it was a breathtaking experience. I went early in the morning, so there were hardly any people around, and the blossoms were in full bloom. The park is well-maintained, and the lake adds to the beauty of the surroundings. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a serene and picturesque spot to enjoy nature's beauty. It was an amazing experience that I won't forget anytime soon!

Such an amazing park to go and visit. There's a wonderful splash pad and a very new clean park for the kids. Lots of space for picnics, also plenty of benches and places to sit. There's plenty of trees and of course, the beautiful lake view. My kids just love the ability of going to the park (with a zip line! πŸ˜ƒ) and then taking their scooters along with them and going as fast as they can up and down the walkway, beside the park. It's very pet friendly. The water fountain even has a bowl down at the bottom for dogs! "How cool is that!". The only downfall is there's no restrooms that I could see. That being said Tim hortons and other places aren't too far. Just remember to give your kids and yourself some time to find a restrooms. There's lots of parking around, it's just mostly paid parking. Fairly reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend this place as the Brant Street Pier is very close by with a beach as well. It's a perfect one stop shop for a great afternoon!

Great for walks whether alone, or with family and friends. There is a lot of nice photo opportunities, plenty of area to sit down and even have a picnic at. There are musicians who come play here, and some of them are incredibly talented that they do deserve some donations. Festivals and other events are also quite common here. There are benches along the path, but for some of the nicer areas you'd want to sit near, there usually is already someone there. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful around here, and present many photo opportunities. It's also super safe to walk along the park area due to it being so public, you won't really have to worry about dangerous people or things too much, even at 12 AM. However, I have seen older men creepily looking or staring at me late in the night.. (after 12 AM) but I still feel relatively safe being around so many other people in plain view. A lot of people have dogs off leashes here (even though it's not safe, because anything can happen and provoke a dog) which isn't the best, since someone like me is allergic and also had a bad childhood experience with dogs. So please keep them on a leash, even if it's a long leash. If you see someone is becoming cautious around your dog, please pull them back. You don't know if they're just scared, or if they're allergic, even if you know your dog is good. I believe you, but some people like me still can't be near them without getting an allergic reaction unfortunately.

I recently this park and it was amazing! The park has a lot of green space, a pond, a playground, and a nice walking path. Best of all a nice river ealk. The park is well-maintained and clean. I enjoyed sitting on the benches and watching the ducks swim in the pond. There's also a nice picnic area if you want to bring your own food. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy some fresh air.

We had a nice time at Spencer Smith Park. The park is located on the shore of Lake Ontario and offers a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The park is well-maintained and has plenty of amenities such as picnic tables, washrooms, and parking. But you need to pay for parking.

Its hard to rate the park in isolation as we came for the Ribfest and that was fantastic. Great atmosphere, great food. On any ordinary day, i cant say for sure (speaking as an overseas tourist only here once) but the location is nice, right next to the lake and close to a great assortment of dining establishments. So it must be worth a visit.

Went there on Canada Day and it was a great experience. Very family friendly place with great view of the lake. The fireworks was awesome ! The parking however is a challenge at such occassions & and something to be done about public washrooms. Nevertheless, still highly recommended. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Parking on site was at a rate of $1.75/h, however, just cross road, it was free in weekends. The view at the Brant Street Pier was phenomenal. The clouds added beauty to the scenery. Walked first to the Brant Street Pier, then to the Burlington Beach. It was hot, but the walk was enjoyable.

Nice and calm park to enjoy the lake. During the season you can also see some cherry blossoms but this part tends to be packed with people taking pictures. The pier and the view are great. There are plenty of parking spots around for an affordable price.

There was a huge expectation for this place to be a large area to have a picnic with high head counts.. but it is a long stretch of area to walk along the lake and a thin land area to have a place to gather and have fun activities. On a weekend, it is highly crowded and finding a good spot to sit and relax is hard.. as advised, need to go in early to find a place. But the view is good from all the sides .. a walk on the bridge etc..

Great open space! Very clean and a great place for picnic and outdoor activities. Go for a relaxing weekend! There's a small beach area too. A long water front walk pathway.

Spencer Smith Park is a fantastic park near Burlington downtown, located on the shore of Lake Ontario. The children playground, splash pads of the Dofasco Water jet Plaza, grasslands, gazebo, benches along the boardwalks, separate lanes for walking, cycling or rollerblading are all features a fantastic promenade. Limited paid parking spaces (CAD1.75/hr) in the park are available even on weekends and holidays, or you can try for the free street parking in the downtown area during weekends or holidays and walk back to the park. The Naval Ships' Memorial Monument, Lady of the Lake Statue and fountain, Brant Street Pier are all good attractions in the park. It also offers a magnificent view of the lake, beach, and Skyway Bridge while sitting on the breakway. It's famous for taking pictures for stunning sunsets, but I would love to say that it's gorgeous for all day. It's definitely worth checking out while going to Burlington. It's a great place to relax and enjoy some fresh air with the people you love or just a quiet me time.

It was a very peaceful, calm, and beautiful morning. We arrived there very early so it wasn't busy at all. It was a lovely scenery even though it's cloudy. I love listening to birds. Ducks are peacefully swimming in the beautiful and calm lake. I did not get a chance to witness the sunrise, but my husband did, and he said it was amazing.

Spencer Smith is a beautiful lakeside park that often hosts entertaining events. Because of its close proximity to many good restaurants and cafes, you can follow up a stroll through the park with a delicious treat. Also, it is an okay spot for dog waking, however make sure your dog doesn't try to eat the goose droppings (of which there are many, depending on the season). Not a perfect score because the park is often uncomfortably crowded during the spring and summer.

The waterfront park is huge and well maintained. It's a nice promenade for a walk or rollerblading. Also it's breezy and surrounded by scenery of green grass and nice flowers. Little beach, pier with look out point, playground, canopy with picnic tables, garden and war memorial dedicated to the Royal Canadian Navy.

This was the 1st time we visited the Rib fest at this park. We loved it!!! Prices were a bit high, but everything was worth it. Vendors were very friendly food was great and the drinks were cold! The park itself is absolutely beautiful and we plan on visiting there again, and definitely will be going to next year's Rib fest. Hats off to the Rotary club and all the rib vendors for a great day!!

A nice park to enjoy the waterfront of Lake Ontario and is a host place to many events such as the sound of music, rib fest, and so on. Beautiful scenery for walks, jogs, biking and so on. Even has free parking in the evening so it’s nice to enjoy the breeze when it’s warm. Also, it is full of lights during the winter holidays such as the ones in the photos attached. Always a fun place to hang out with friends after enjoying the different restaurants by the park!
